Wow! DD, you're really making us work to get here now!!

I can understand the need for protecting yourself and the site.

Whether or not the new way in to the site does it or not, I don't know.

I'm not complaining, though - this site is too good for any of us to whine.

I was just pretty surprised when I decided to pop in this evening!

I was able to redo my favorites and get right to the boards. Oh BTW, the new splash page is cool looking and if this is what is needed to keep the place safe I’m all for it.

Added quick links at the bottom of the main page - Put them "below the fold" so new people won't see them before reading the terms and entering.

You do realize that age warnings are basically worthless to begin with, yes?

I agree with DiaperPT, wouldn't matter what it would take to get on to DD, it's more then worth it and is without a doubt the # 1 AB/DL site anywhere, I personally did not have any problems getting in.

Recently on a trip away from home, I went into a coffee shop with public wifi and was prohibited from going to DD as a porn site. When I went to the public library for wifi I didn't even bother trying as I didn't want to hear sirens and see the library police rushing in to arrest me and keep me prisoner in the children's section of the library until I'm toilet trained...

The reason we have the 'adults only' provision is because the law which applies to the server this site is on requires it. The interpretation of that law says that a reasonable effort must be made to keep Minors out so we make that reasonable effort. There is no 100% certain method of keeping every minor out; ID's can be spoofed and minors can have credit and debit cards or access to one belonging to an adult. We're not going to catch them all, but the ones we do find we kick out. We are staying in the bounds of the law so that this website can continue operating for you

I remember being ordered to set-up some nanny software for an educational institution way back when... it was so crude it blocked anything with "xxx" or "sex" in the page (anywhere), along with a bunch of other strings ("guns","lsd", "porn", "punch", "knife" etc. etc.). Much hilarity and frustration ensued as the software duly blocked any site that mentioned "Essex", kid's e-mails which ended with something like "Love mom, xxx", math sites or dictionary sites mentioning "sextuplet(s)" etc. etc.
