I Have little understanding why the Goodnites products draw such a following. I have an unopened undamaged package that will no longer fit me. Cathdiap, good to see its not just me with the same issues you have noted. For the most part I use my stent for a day or so. I love the loss of control but only for a while.

To be sure the line is attached I use a thin 10 lb test braided fishing line. The line is as thin as sewing thread would be but much stronger. Using a sewing needle thread the needle as if you going to sew a button. The thread is tied forming a loop of thread. Then push the needle thru the inside end of the stent pulling the line almost to the end of the loop. Yes the knot you tied is at the end of the loop. Now pass the needle thru the loop pulling it tight. The knot should now be inside the stent. Before cutting off the long end of the line I will attached an 1.25" O-ring. Tie it tightly to the O-ring then cut the excess cord.

I hit the local thrift store near me this morning. In the past they had no diapers at all. Today they have two bags of the Tena Proskin stretch super in my size. Not a bad score either,two bags of 28 each for $8.00 total. They also had lots of youth size products but nothing that would fit me. I'll be checking this store monthly.

A leak is going to happen, its just a matter of time. With plastic pants you have an early warning system in place to warn you when your primary protecting starts to fail. While I prefer to change before a leak happens the plastic pants have saved my ass more times that I can count. I think plastic pants is such an old phrase. There are so many new materials available these days for diaper covers. I love to explore them all.

Rustypins; thanks for the heads up. I have been ordering from Aliexpress for years with no issues. I guess I have been lucky. The only problem I have is with myself being a kid in the candy store. I want it all. Ten days later I have receive my order from Haian thru Aliexpess. The cost per pair was $9.00 with free shipping. Normally I would order a large but in the past Haian was way oversized. I ordered a medium. The medium are sung, so sung that with a pull up they will be OK but not with a heavy disposable. I may end up wearing with just a chastity cage and some water based lubrication. That's always fun too. Quality wise these look good but time will tell if they will stay soft or harden up and get brittle. Time will tell.

For those looking at the Haian Pants check out Ailexpress.us. Shipment takes two to three weeks but the pricing is much better than most US based retailers. I'm waiting for a delivery of Haian pants now, They use to be oversized so I ordered mediums, I hope they are not too small.

I found the dental floss too thin for my trust level. I'm using a 10# test braided fishing line more to my liking and trust.

I had a solid version of this plug, it was difficult to insert but once in place was well anchored. Please be sure to provide an update for us soon.

hannah-yms; Fantastic write up, I'm sure it took some time and I'm sure many of us will appreciate this great write up. You probably save me some cash and time with wasted purchases. Here is a plug I have used successfully with minimum discomfort. Amazon Large tunnel plug Because the plug is soft and flexible it can be difficult to insert. To overcome this I will use the handle of a screw driver (that's fits inside)to stiffen the plug some for the insertions process. Once inserted the open plug will stay in place. I also have the medium version of this plug that is much easier to insert but is more prone to slipping out, If I have been stretching with other toys neither plug will reliable stay in place. The only drawback I have with these plugs is that they hold an unpleasant odor after use. To overcome this an overnight soaking in water with 25% vinegar will normally remove any odors .

Please let us know what size you ordered and after trying it how comfortable was it long term.

Smaller is not necessary better in catheter sizes. in fact, an adult using a 12FR will find it slips in easily, but you will likely have more bladder spasms and some leakage. You didn't mention the size you are working with, but a normal adult should be using a 14FR or a 16FR with a 5CC balloon. Some, including myself, can comfortably use a 20FR with no issues. There is a lot to learn when using catheters. Fetlife has several groups dedicated to catheter play. Play safe and remember catheter play requires you to be extremely clean when handling/inserting a cath.

A tunnel plug can be large in size or smaller. A lot depends on your body and how firm or not your BM will be. A firm digestive track will need a larger opening to pass. For someone that has issues in this department its not abnormal for me to be loose, possible runny. I take meds to control it. When I desire to use a tunnel plug I simply stop the meds for a day it happens. I personally have had enough life experiences to want to avoid the subject of a messy accidents but somehow I'm drawn towards it like a moth to a flame. Great write up. Or you can just a get a tunnel plug. The softer rubber plugs are more comfortable for longer wear and you can sit and enjoy the morning updates on your favorite sites while it happens without control.

Using a stent is the next step in all this. In my opinion a stent is far superior to any catheter. Consider making your first stent using a catheter cut at 5.5". Just remember the retrieval line and an O-Ring that will not slip inside.

Fakename4me; Holly Smokes, did you try to wet the bed? When I use a stent I taper the fluid intake several hours before bed. Otherwise I end up doing the same. In fact this happen to me a while back, woke up to a totally soaked bed. Only issue was my dear wife was in the same bed. She knows I wear but not about catheter and stent use. I changed my soaked diaper downing a fresh and placed bath towels on the wet bed. In the morning I announced we needed to order a new mattress due to the age if the existing. Now a days if I sleep with a stent in place I use a cloth bed pad with a WP backing. Mattress are expensive these days.

The wired plug looks like as if it would be good choice. Can you confirm there were no sharp edges? Some of the cheaper products from Alliexprress can have some rough edges.
