What Kind Of Comedy Do You Like?

What kind of comedy do you guys enjoy? Improv ("Who's Line Is It Anyway?")? Sketch (i.e. Saturday Night Live, Monty Python)? Stand-up?

I do not like improve. For me sketches are either the worst form of comedy or the best form, like the Monty Python was really stupid to me and so are some of Saturday Night live sketches, but sometimes, I really like the Saturday Night Live or Mad TV sketches (e.g. The iRack and Celebrity Jeopardy). I usually like stand-up, all the way from Bill Maher to Larry the Cable Guy, though I like Bill Maher better to be honest, but Larry is still good. Some other stand-up comedians I like are Bill Cosby of course, Chris Rock, and some others I am not remembering right now. One thing I consistently laugh at is satire, especially media satire, because the media deserves every once of it. Then there is always the other more classic forms of comedy like slapstick. Got to give Mel Brooks credit there.

Slapsticky, situational, ironic, and when done well ronchey comedians like Bob Sagot are my favorits

Sketch, political and musical comedy are my favs.

Improv or well acted out scenes in movies, old time slap stick was the best, like The Three Stooges or even Charlie Chaplin.They were the Kings of Slap Stick.

Jeff Foxworthy, Jeff Dunham, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engval, Robin Williams and Gabriell Iglesias are just some of my favorite comedians. I am more of a stand-up kind of gal. Although, I do love the 70's thru early 90's Saturday Night Live.

I like all but political and short stand-up comedy. I like most Britcoms, but few US sitcoms where the humor is aimed a a lower intelligence level. Too many faves to list

Not a big sitcom fan, but I love a wide range of stand-up, ranging from Larry the Cable Guy to old school Bill Cosby stuff to Jim Gaffigan, etc. etc. etc.

Blue crude really offensive (totally NON-PC stand up comedy poking fun at everything) stand up comedies ie: Roy Chubby Brown and Bernard Manning (r.i.p).

Also slapstick/sketch stuff like: Mrs Brown, Father Ted, Only Fools And Horses,Red Dwarf,Bottom,Black Adder,Faulty Towers, 2 pints of Larger and a Packet of Crisps, and the Carry On films.

Stand up is by far my favorite but I appreciate anything that makes me laugh. Slapstick and physical comedy can be absolutely hilarious at times....
