Wow impressive. I remember watching that episode with my mom and she couldnt make out any of it just had a blank look on her face :)

But anyway Kudos to you (and on a side note even with tranqs you wouldnt have gotten me 100 yards anywhere near the stage)

*Hugs*

I remember watching this right after it aired. All I could think was, That brave young women is exposing on national television what I could never expose to any one, And she is making it look like Just another normal day! I was really happy about the women explaining why we do this and that it is more common then most people think, but was most impressed with how you and Ryan came accross as normal, participating members of society. Hopefully, one step at a time, we can just be considered to be another kink, instead of abnormal or dangerous to society.

Good thing I did not make it to that show lol.

I would of asked Tyra to put a diaper on and wear them through the show.

I get tired of people getting all "OMG! THAT IS WEIRD AND FREAKISH!!" I saw a couple of girls in the studio as the camera panned around, laughing like "OMG what a weird thing" I mean who cares and what is the big deal. So a person likes to throw on a diaper and act like a kid for a few moments and get off on that. I'm glad I have this in my life, because the "regular" people seem to have the most boring sex and intimate life. "Ohhh lets get in our silk bed and bang for a few minutes then get showers and sleep.... Pffftttt Put a diaper on, baby then lets rub each other silly! hahhaha

BTW, Little Farei, I recorded that show and planned to about a week before hand. I was so afraid that you would of got all sorts of idiots all laughing like hell, but it seemed cool. I really liked your BF standing up telling Tyra it wasn't "his thing" but he respected you and "helped" you out with your fetish anyways.

Now I have in my mind this.... I bet Tyra ran home that night and stopped to Wal-greens, picked up some Depends and tried to see WTF this ftish can do for her. I bet she would get the diaper all on wrong lol.. "Hmmmm why so many tabs? "what one to I tape first? "Should I use powder? Will I get a diaper rash? LMAO, Tyra= Duh.

I don't want to start any flames and don't want to be overly critical. By the same token, I read you as saying 'people need to get over it'. What you have to keep in mind is that YOU cannot change anyone's thinking but your own. You can only put out information and act in a way that will encourage others to give some serious thought to your point of view. Go back and review the tape again and see how attitudes changed when the psychologist spoke. The people started off with a horribly negative impression. If Little Faerie had gone on and been too 'in-your-face' I doubt things would have changed. She did a great job of presenting our point of view and still there was a pretty negative attitude.

So you 'get tired of people getting all "OMG! THAT IS WEIRD AND FREAKISH!!"' - do you really think that bashing them over your head with your point of view will help? How long did it take for blacks to begin getting civil rights (oh yeah...to a great extent we are still a racist society, aren't we!)? How long did it take for women to get the vote? (and they still struggle for true equality and equal pay in the workplace) How long has it taken for gays, lesbians, etc to gain general acceptance? (oh wait, we'll have to wait quite a while to hear about that!). And all those are not FETISH activity!!

There are arguments to be made that protests were made about the social issues I mentioned - there had to be a certain amount of 'in-your-face' to get people to face things, but if you really want to beat people into accepting ABDL what are your plans? Getting tired of people thinking its weird and freakish alone will not do. What Little Faerie did will go FAR in helping us - as long as others can do other interviews in a sane version. Let's NOT go on Jerry Springer throwing a baby fit, heaving your baby bottle at the crowd and hitting people over the head with your adult sized highchair!

We need MORE professionals like the one on the Tyra show with Little Faeire explaining that it is NOT sick and perverted, but a natural way for some people to cope.

Thanks for putting up with these thoughts...I'm not saying I'm completely correct, but that we ought to do more than just wish people would accept us and then get mad when they don't.

I googled Dr. Victoria Zdrok to find out about her. Turns out she is famous for being a porn star and a playboy model for some time, and also has a Ph. D in Clinical Psychology. Very interesting background.

Faerie, that interview took a lot of courage. My hats off to you!

I got bored tonight and googled "abdl". To my surprise, the first thing I saw at the top of the page, under "Videos", was my own face! The clip of the Tyra show I did about 3 years ago was the top vid listed. I honestly thought it had been long forgotten, and I NEVER though my face would be the top of ANY google search!!! Holy crap! Anyway... that's all. I wanted to share my shock and surprise. Wow. I guess the internet immortalizes everything.

If you haven't seen it, I suppose I should include a link so you know wtf I'm talking about lol.

Tyra Banks Diaper Dame excerpt

Hi Little Faerie

Thats pretty cool I have to admit to be at the top of googles search engine for videos when typing in ABDL. Never thought that would happen ay. Anyways also I want to say that you're much braver person then any of use here it seems to go on national TV on the Tyra Banks show and reveal your secrete to the whole world. I admire you for confidence in doing so and being so public about it. You couldn't of done any better in doing so and deserve quit a bit of brownie points from me. As for your video I had watched it soon after airing on TV on Tyra's website. I thought to my self this girls like any other person on the streets and she's got a secrete that she's a ABDL also WOW. So anyways great job with being on Tyra Banks show and Nice to see your face around the community

-Thanks

PS After seeing this video it really made me search and seek help in why I like to wear diapers my self. And after a bit of time I found my answer and I've come to accept it. Kinda Cheers

My family and friends don't really watch talk shows or daytime tv so very few people I know saw the show. Nobody has recognized me in passing on the street either. There can be risks to "outing" yourself, but I'm really one of those people who makes no bones about who I am. If people ask me a thing about myself, I'll bluntly tell them. Yes I am bisexual. Yes I am a proud Pagan. Yes I am a DL. Yes they are real. One of the things people don't think about is that if you have no problem with who you are, and you don't make a big deal of it, then 98% of people don't care and go on with their lives. 2% are asshats about it but you know what, f*ck em if they can't take it. Their problem, not mine. I don't shove my ways and beliefs in anyone's face, so if they're asking a question that personal, well, they asked for it. Not my fault if they don't like the answer. I treat ABDL just like any other part of my life. I'm not going to go telling people and flaunting it in public, but if somebody asks, I'm not going to lie. I'm not running for office anytime soon so it won't hurt me. Doing the Tyra show is the first and only time I have/will ever made public statement about it, and then only for the greater good. Thankfully, I have incurred no trouble for it, and not even that much online ridicule, except a few ignorant losers on youtube. There were some AB's that believed I was wrong for bringing the topic to a talk show, but the show was going to find someone anyway on that topic no matter what and I knew that. Some people have the type of lives where they live in fear of what others think, I thankfully do not have one of those. I think my discretion is somewhat the key to this. People know I'm different, but I keep my quirks on a toned down level, I otherwise interact appropriately with them, and they respect me for it. That, and I'm a very nice, intelligent, and open person, and in many people's eyes those qualities can forgive many of my oddities. I hope one of these days that ABDL can be accepted the way that bd/sm and other socially acceptable fringe groups are, but the only way that will happen is if we are low key and otherwise functional members of society. The in your face thing will never get us accepted.

I remember that guy on Springer that came on wearing just a Depends and telling the audience his GF should accept his diaper loving while the audience made fun of him. Err, so stupid.

Also when the CSI episode "King Baby" was on. That didn't help anything either since it associated AB/DL with child pornography. Remember when CSI Sarah found the picture of the baby inside that guys baby chest box? She says "Looks like he was involved with the whole spectrum" as she looks at the picture. Errr I was so mad.

I like how you did it and it's cool yo ugot the spot instead of some moron that would come on all dressed as a baby.

Thanks, Lil-Farie:)

That Springer episode made me cringe, and was in part my inspiration for this. It made so much bad press, and I wanted to fix it somehow.

I didn't know that was you either, I had to go back and watch it again. I thought you were very professional and a good ambassador to the lifestyle. Tyra came off as such a twit. It is funny back in the day, before I knew of AB/DL (I was one but didn't know their were others) I made my own pasties, way before computers, I had a SI Swimsuit issue of Tyra that I altered to a AB/DL pic. Even though it was my creation, and nop one else ever saw it, I felt like Tyra was being hypocritical saying she never heard of it  Unfortunately all my cut and paste art went away in an early purge, sure the current board would have loved my Tyra in diapers pictures.

I remember when this came out, and it was one of the first programs that dealt with diapers without going into the 'ew' factor. This came out as the same time as 'Baby Ella' in secret lives, and both of you deserve a lot of credit for honest. I remember being annoyed at the stupidity of Tyra when I first watch the video. I watched it again last night, and was still annoyed.

I was stunned when I saw that awhile back. You seriously look like a "normal" college aged person of the female persuasion. Except for Kimmy that there are pics around and she was on real sex on HBO. Most the pics I have seen of real abdl women are not the "average" 20 something American woman.

You also talked about it in a "normal" way and certainly not how it has been shown in other media. Real Sex on HBO certainly was just a look at these freaks. I am sorry but feeding an old fat guy who is talking like a baby certainly makes it look like oh look at these freaks.

I remember the first time I ran across this interview. I don't bear Tyra any ill will (I simply choose not to watch any of her shows), but after re-watching the video, I have to give her some credit for at least giving an AB the chance to just talk about the lifestyle without too many preconceptions.

Great job, Little Faerie! It's nice to see an AB on TV that isn't just another "OMG crazy dude in a diaper."

Why are age and weight, always factors in who is creepy and who isn't

Because good looking people can get away with more, and age and weight are huge factors in determining who is good looking. It is kinda discouraging to think that most people are that shallow.

In other news my site is on the seventh page of an "abdl" google search. And people are actually finding it that way. http://www.calgaryabdlmeetup.com

I remember that video from awhile ago. I too applaud your courage in doing what the vast majority of us will never do. I will say that frankly the only thing I do not like about the "interview" is how you are alone, on the stage, on a couch, and Tyra is with the audience like it is some sort of court meant to single you out.
