  1. Came for classic movie quotes. Leaves disappointed. Roger Murdock : We have clearance, Clarence. Captain Oveur: Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?
  2. ^ This. I have better ways to do nothing. Speaking of which....
  3. I love it when sprite is given to me. So delicious. Lemon and lime bliss. Oh an awkward post award goes to PD. Awkward.
  4. And maybe a make/model/engine/year/miles?
  5. That its actually a lot of oil to be burning in that time frame. How many miles are you actually traveling in that 6-8 week period?
  6. Did you cut out carbonated beverages when diagnosed with gerd?
  7. I pray to Oprah that you have a privacy fence.
  8. Eh, it's the internet. Does it really matter if people are rude? I understand this site is for discussions related to subject matter that is somewhat frowned upon in the vanilla day to day, but to let some faceless post by a screen name get to you is just silly. To me, it seems that the majority of the "rudeness" happens as a response to one of a few different circumstances. • Posting content in the wrong subforum. If it has a place, post it there. If I wanted to read it, I'd go find it. • Being an idiot. This can apply to knowingly, or not knowingly doing or posting something that is just inexcusable. This is a site for acceptance, yes, but common sense and the rules of society still apply. • Just general trolling. But in this instance, you have no leg to stand on when arguing that people are rude, since that was the goal. • Then there is the misinterpretation of a post. This applies to broken sarcastometers and the inability to pick up on the inflection of a post. • Posting like a horny 17 year old nerd. This applies to both being just creepy, and one handed fap material. We don't believe your story, and no girl wants to see your man meat. Get over it. And I'll end my lecture with my personal pet peeve. •Basic spelling, basic punctuation, and basic grammar. I'm not a militant nazi about it, but If you want my acceptance, make sure I can understand you. I'm not saying the op is guilty of any of this, just giving my observations and opinions as to why it happens.
  9. Came for Farnsworth. Disappoint.
  10. Well at least she was upfront and honest.
  11. See, that is a good example of what is truly in the spirit of this thread. The person in that story sounds like the best candidate for the job, but was passed over for a buddy. I'm glad he moved on to greener pastures and managed a happy ending. My rule is when you either stop caring about your job, or actually dread going in, then it's time to move on. I've been to that point a few times in my life, and though I may have hated them at the time, every job I ever had has taught me something that I can apply to my future.
  12. Anybody who complains that so and so has been here x and i've been here x years longer, why didn't I get the promotion? Or I can do x better than anybody else, why an I not the manager? They need to realize that being promoted has more to it than time and skill. Higher ups are generally judging candidates on several different categories. Sure time and skill have something to do with the decision, but more often than not they are looking for other traits to make the decision. For instance, in my industry, drive has more to do with it than anything else. Are they willing to play the game so to speak. Do they want it, and what have they done to show it? Are they willing to tackle new things in stride? How far out of their comfort zone are they willing to go to get ahead? If you are being looked over for a position, ask yourselves if you are driven, and what you can do to make sure everybody knows it.
  13. Why an I not surprised it happened in florida? Florida, you slay me.
  14. I'm with Autie on this one. He was a man who had a family. So it is a loss for them. I feel bad for that much, my condolences and all that jazz. But a saint he was not. Even though the advertising dictated that his company was hip and cared about the indigenous people of... where ever. This couldn't be father from the truth. He headed a billion dollar corporation that had only one rule; make money at any cost. So no, I'm not going to mourn this death any more than any other random individual that dies. Besides, I have it from a reliable source that the hipsters are way more into him now that he is underground.
  15. I'm an idiot. I just saw the thread in tech support. This thread is now about funny pictures. Post away.
  16. What gives? I don't think I could surf the forum any faster, but posing and editing would be worlds easier.
  17. So, it's safe to say you like pink.
  18. I have found that a worn syncro is sometimes the culprit. More often than not, it is old worn gear oil though. You are actually supposed to change that stuff every couple years.
  19. Jeeze, it's as if people don't have enough drama in their real lives. Unless they have no life..... :rollseyesatinternetdramaqueens:
  20. I feel strongly about this, and my opinions matter on the internet! !Rabblerabbledookarejobsrabble!
