  1. That happens if you’re using pins to fasten the diaper. The fabric loosens as it get wet. I found the solution to that problem is to use the ABZ Cloth Diaper fastener from AdultClothDiaper.com. You stretch them to fasten the diaper and that stretch takes up the looseness as the diaper gets wet. See: https://www.adultclothdiaper.com/ABZ-Cloth-Diaper-Fastener If you’re using a disposable diaper, the above doesn’t apply. With disposables, they will loosen over time as the plastic stretches. I wear an elastic pant over the diaper to hold it in place. I also fold down the front of the so that it is below the belly bulge and fasten the diaper fairly snuggly.
  2. I’m kind of curious, too, about what exercises the doctor recommended to retrain your bladder.
  3. Get treated for high blood pressure. Many of those meds will have the effect you’re looking for.
  4. In you fantasy dreams maybe, however, females should have a waist/hip ratio of .85 or lower, males a ratio of .95 or lower. 36-24-36 gets a ratio of .66, which is kind of pushing the limits of what is physiologically possible without silicone enhancement.
  5. It isn’t so much the hip size, but the ratio of waist size to hip size. Females, in general, have a smaller waist to hip ratio than males. I don’t remember what the numbers are, but you could probably google the information.
  6. it’s only recently that I learned that there’s a name for what I am. Ace (asexual) describes me perfectly. Sexual intercourse has no appeal to me. I’d have to say that I was relatively naive to sex while growing up. When I discovered what a penis was for, I was thoroughly repulsed by the thought of what I was expected to use it for as an adult. Close personal relationships are fine, but actual sex is a complete turnoff. I’ve always been rather confused by the actions of other males who seem to think with their balls rather than their brains.
  7. I regularly wear Seni Quattro diapers that I cover with a cotton brief shown below and then wear the shorts shown below as the outer garment and a loose T-shirt or polo shirt top. Using the cottons briefs has the advantage of holding the diaper snugly in place and effectively eliminates the problem of leaks. I regularly take my dogs to the park wearing this clothing combination and no one has noticed that I’m wearing a diaper.
  8. Early in my incontinence journey, I was always trying different products looking for the ones that worked well and felt right. As time went on, I gravitated toward cloth diapers in situations when I wasn’t particularly concerned with maintaining a discrete appearance and high quality disposable diapers when I was trying to conceal the fact that I was diapered. Around home and particularly at night, I wear cloth diapers. I’ve yet to find a disposable diaper I can use at night that won’t leak. While I’m still open to trying new products, I’ve stuck with the same set products for many years now.
  9. From the time I stopped wearing diapers regularly (about 10 years old), I wished that I had a physical need to be diapered. At that time, I didn’t know the word “incontinence” or that anyone else had that problem. But, yes, I desperately wanted to be incontinent, so that I had a legitimate excuse to wear diapers. I’d become quite accustomed wearing diapers and being able to relieve myself whenever I felt the discomfort of even a partially full bladder.
  10. Based on my experience, I think you’ll find sleeping on a plastic covered mattress difficult unless you like the idea and feel of plastic. Plastic mattress covers reflect your body heat and trap your perspiration in the bedding. That becomes a very uncomfortable situation after a few hours. I’d recommend the Peapod mats mentioned above or other breathable waterproof mattress pads.
  11. Unfortunately, mine did not and i got to see my primary doctor for an antibiotic prescription.
  12. My cystoscopy was pretty much as described above. With the numbing gel, the most I felt was a little pressure as the scope went through the sphincter into the bladder. The procedure was a non-event for me. However, a couple of days later, I developed a fever from a UTI. It seems like anytime I have any sort of medical instrument invade the bladder, I get a UTI. So, I’d recommend being aware of the possibility of an UTI and if you get a fever or feel any bladder discomfort to contact your doctor to have him prescribe an antibiotic.
  13. I found that I frequently have that sensation. I believe its a result of constantly trying to stay relaxed “down there”, which also relaxes the bladder. So, the bladder partially fills but doesn’t automatically contract resulting in the “need to go” sensation even though there isn’t much urine in it.
  14. For me, loss of bowel control closely followed urinary incontinence. While I had ultimately intended to become totally incontinent, I hadn’t intended for it to happen so soon and so unexpectedly. However, after reconciling myself that I was indeed losing all control, I let it progress and haven’t regretted the decision. Based on my experience, I believe that relaxing the pelvic muscles to gain urinary incontinence necessarily relaxes the muscles involved in bowel control. I have some doubts about the muscles actually being weakened. Instead, I think that the clenching reflex that tightens the bladder and bowel sphincters is suppressed. After a while, we “forget” to reflexively tighten the muscles when bladder or bowel contractions would normally trigger the clenching action. If I think about, I’m still aware of my bladder or bowels emptying, I no longer automatically try to control it.
  15. No argument about the fiction. However, being a reader of a lot of fiction, particularly science fiction, I’ve observed that authors define their worlds or situations with certain rules and let everything flow logically from there without violating those basic premises. Once things got to the court room, I’m not sure how the chain of events could have been diverted. It certainly seems as though Jackson has become more infantile in his thought processes and events have escaped his control. Is he even capable of using his hypnosis talents anymore?
  16. Interesting story. However, I haven’t seen anything in the story that would explain his inability to intelligently express himself in court when events are taking an unexpected and undesired turn.
  17. I voted yes, but with qualifications. The first being that I wouldn’t require medical doctors who have ethical issues about doing such procedures to do them. I think there should be specialty clinics to perform the body modifications people desire. The second qualification I have is that the entire cost should be borne by the individual including the costs associated with the consequences (e.g. diapers, hormone replacement, specialized medical equipment, etc.). Insurance companies should not be required to cover such procedures or their consequences. Finally, I’d allow an individual to have the procedure they want immediately, if they so desired. I’d make sure they understood the consequences and encourage a trial period, if practical. However, if they wanted it immediately and signed a release stating that they’d been informed of the ramifications the body modifications would have, so be it.
  18. If you taking something with a diuretic, that could increase your wetting problems. Lasix, Dyazide, or something with HCTZ are all diuretics.
  19. Here is the link, if you couldn’t find it. I finally figured out how to copy it and paste it here.
  20. I wouldn’t necessarily say that I like diapers. Instead, I’d say that I’m more comfortable wearing them than not. That feeling is probably a result of my extended use of them while I was growing up. Early on, we lived in a trailer without in-door plumbing. So, I was normally diapered at night until we moved to a house when I was 6 years old. By then, though, my nighttime wetting habits were pretty firmly established because I never learned to wake up to go to the bathroom, so I continued wearing diapers at night until I was 10 years old. Because of this, my bladder remained smaller than normal and I needed go to the bathroom about hourly. So, during activities where this wouldn’t be possible, I wore diapers. This situation continued until I was around 16 years old when it was decided that I needed to break my dependence on diapers. Unfortunately, that simply resulted in my surreptitious use of diapers. Over the years I tried many times to break my dependence on them, but inevitably went back to secretly wearing diapers. Eventually, after many attempts over many years, I realized that I wasn’t going to break this habit and started wearing them more regularly and openly. Over time, that effectively resulted my becoming incontinent. My story is more nuanced than this shortened version, but this gives you the highlights. if you want the more extended story, search for “The Training of a Diaper Lover” by Craisler. That was my account years ago until I lost the password and could no longer get into it.
  21. I wasn’t unusually small. Those old cribs were about 3/4 the size of a twin bed. There wasn’t a lot of room between my head and feet and the ends of the crib, but I did fit. I don’t have many clear memories of diaper changes from back then. I think I was diapering myself by the time was 7 or 8. The diaper changes that stuck in my memory were those where I really pissed off my mother. In both cases, I had messing accidents. One time, we were very close to a roadside rest stop where we were going to stop for lunch when I just couldn’t hold it anymore. That time, she changed my diaper on a picnic table in full view of everyone else at the other tables and the highway. The other time was when I was 13 or 14 years old and we had gotten the car stuck on a sandy road (and I use the term “road” very loosely in this case). When I get nervous, I often experience very loose and uncontrollable bowel movements. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere in the wilds of Michigan. My nervousness had been building for a while as we traveled this road. After getting stuck my father and I pushed while my mother steered and we were able to get to a solid portion of the road. As I relaxed, without realizing it, I messed my diaper. This time she cleaned me up and diapered me right next to the road. There wasn’t any traffic, so that part wasn’t embarrassing. But afterwards, I had to wear shorts that did nothing to conceal my “underwear.” So, I attracted a number of knowing grins and smiles when we stopped for lunch at the next town.
  22. Certainly not from my experience. They are hot, sticky, and impossible to sleep on. I suspect that the only infants sleep on them is that don’t know anything else and can’t express their opinions. When I was 10 years old, my family travelled by car to see my godparents. Even though I was fully toilet trained (I’d stopped needing night diapers earlier that year), I was diapered while traveling because I would have wetting accidents if I couldn’t get to a bathroom fast enough. So, when we arrived at my godparents house and sleeping arrangements were being discussed, I was still wearing my wet travel diaper. My godmother didn’t want to take a chance on me having an accident in their son’s brand new bed, so I got to sleep in the crib he had recently vacated. Believe me, a plastic covered mattress is extremely uncomfortable during the summer even when covered with sheets and a blanket. I twisted and turned all night and ended up with the bedding wrapped around me because I so hot and uncomfortable.
  23. I use a waterproof mattress pad along with several cloth underpads to protect the mattress. I dislike vinyl mattress covers because they reflect the heat and are very uncomfortable to sleep on.
  24. Virtually never since I wear a cloth diaper at night. There have been a few times that my output has exceeded the capacity of the diaper and I’ve ended up changing the bedding and my diaper in the middle of the night.
  25. For me, it’s nearly always B. I go to sleep with a dry diaper and wake up several hours later with a completely soaked diaper.
