  1. Last night I wet the bed for the fifth time this month, officially making almost a quarter of my nights wet so far. Given this, I’m looking to get a plastic/vinyl mattress protector for my twin bed. I don’t technically need it, since my diapers keep the sheets dry, and I haven’t had a leak yet, but I want to be prepared just in case, not to mention, the sound of a plastic sheet on a bed marks you out as a real bedwetter! I’m looking for something of relatively decent quality, preferably for no more than about $30, that makes a good crinkling sound when sat on. Can anyone provide any recommendations?
  2. I've had a handful of sporadic random bedwetting incidents over the past three weeks, and I'd like to get them more frequent and more consistent. Those of you who self-trained bedwetting, what methods did you find most effective?
  3. I do the best I can, living with family who don’t know about this side of me. I wear diapers 24/7 ostensibly for my bowel issues, and all my clothes look like they belong to a 6-9 year old. I have a water bottle that I’m surprised hasn’t been questioned yet, given the lengths to which I went to make it look like a baby bottle. My family knows I still suck my thumb, and don’t comment on the stuffed dragon or blankie I take with me everywhere (I suspect my autism means my parents aren’t really surprised by my childish tendencies). My bedroom is full of stuffies and toys that I love to play with, and my bed has dinosaur sheets on it. I’m pretty lucky to get away with so much while still living with people who don’t know the extent of my need to be little!

    Pill

Not loss of daytime control, nor bowel control (what I have left of it anyway) but a pill to turn me into a permanent full-time bed wetter? Sign me up!
  5. I know they already exist, but what I wouldn’t give for an adult-sized crib and a full-time caregiver.
  6. Thanks for sharing! Did you use anything specific to hydrate with, or just water? I’d say eight nights out of ten is a reasonable definition of “consistent”. Is this a goal of yours as well?
  7. I definitely understand the anxiety of wanting it but having to pretend I don’t. After many years of hoping and experimenting, I finally started wetting the bed recently, and have had to tell everyone who needs to know (like my partner) while pretending to be quite distressed and perturbed by the sudden turn of events. It is also legitimately embarrassing to have to bring this up with other people, so there’s that element as well.
  8. How long did it take you between starting your journey and consistently wetting every night?
  9. I’ve been wearing every night for five years, but had long stretches where I wasn’t actively trying to wet the bed. Maybe my problem was that I gave up too early in the process whenever I would get motivated to try again. My psychiatrist prescribed sleeping medication recently for my long-standing insomnia, and I’ve taken it for two nights, with one wet night and one dry one. I suspect that my problem on the dry night was drinking caffeine too close to bedtime, which meant the meds didn’t allow me to sleep as deeply as I did on the wet night. I’m going to try again tonight with just additional water, no caffeine, and see what happens.
  10. Hello all! I'm not new here, but I remade my account because I was concerned that people IRL might recognize my old username if they ever stumbled across this site. Anyway, I'm 30F, and have been in diapers 24/7 for close to five years now. I used the excuse of intermittent bowel incontinence to get into them, but my big goal has always been bedwetting. There's something about that vulnerability and loss of control that very much speaks to my little side. Previously I had tried every trick in the book to make it happen; overhydrating before bed, caffeine, dandelion tea, diapers, no diapers, nothing worked. Suddenly out of nowhere about three weeks ago, for no clear reason, I woke up and found my diaper wet, and I knew with certainty that I hadn't wet it deliberately during the night. I was excited, but chalked it up as a one-off. Five days later, it happened again, and six days after that, I had two wet nights in a row. I've woken up wet three times this week, and I'm so excited to think that I'm finally making progress towards my end goal of wetting every night! I'm going to try drinking uncaffeinated green tea before bed again to see if that helps, but if anyone has any other suggestions or recommendations, I'm all ears!
