  1. After all the doomsday propaganda, tariffs are only 25% on Canadian goods, It’s absolutely political. Regardless, I have been forced to find a different supplier and a different diaper so I see no point in returning to a company to a company that only cares about their bottom line and not about their customers.
  2. Because Canadian based companies won’t even give us the option of paying the increased prices based off tariffs, most just refuse to even ship to the United States. This has forced me to find alternative options. To say I am a little miffed is an understatement, but if they want to make a political statement out of it, then so can I. I have been forced to buy my diapers elsewhere so that’s what I will continue to do, even after all this nonsense blows over True but I plan on continuing boycotting them even after the nonsense ends and they want to start shipping to the U.S. some Canadian companies are increasing their shipment rates and price points, which I am fine with, the ones that just completely cut off US shipping are doing it purely for political reasons. They don’t want my business now just tells me they don’t want my business ever again. I will spend the extra money and buy American made
  3. They look cute, unfortunately I am boycotting all Canadian products at the moment
  4. 😂😂😂 lol fixed it
  5. I can post pics later, wearing a XXL now, as my package of XXL Goodnites arrived today. I bought a pack of the XL’s when they first came out, wore one and that was it. They were still a little tight, thin, and not really absorbent. On initial inspection, the XXL’s are about the same width as XL’s and larges, but the XXL’s are a few inches longer and have more stretch. They are also a bit thicker, and so far, much more comfortable and absorbent. Probably not going to be my night time diaper but I could definitely see myself wearing them occasionally during the day
  6. Ordered some, will let you know what I think when they arrive tomorrow
  7. True, hard to argue with free
  8. Hopefully not the cloth backed ones, though the plastic backed ones aren’t much better. So I guess that means I am better off not getting diapers through the VA? 🤷‍♂️
  9. Incontroldiapers.com I get a case of European Tena maxi plastic backed for around 120, 3 bags of 24, so 72 diapers. I find they are a good day time diaper and they have the Ultima for 136 if you want something a little thicker.
  10. I fully expected John to piss himself when he got tasered lol not an uncommon occurrence
  11. I drove from upstate New York to Florida in 16 hours, only had to stop for gas, gotta luv the new max absorbency diapers 😁
  12. I absolutely love who they cast as Sophia Falcone lol if you watched Gotham you could find a way to incorporate the Adult Baby retreat Spa that made an appearance
  13. lol getting old affects the memory I guess, I could have swore Huggies for him and her were a lot earlier than that. There was definitely a huge diaper war in the mid 80’s thru the mid 90’s where they were constantly trying to outmaneuver and out market each other.
  14. Like WBDaddy said, cotton training pants with rubber covers were quite commonly used in the late 70’s and most of the 80’s for bed wetting kids that were otherwise potty trained. I had several siblings that were younger than me and remember my mom doing that. That’s possibly what you remember. 99.9% of the time, anything new on the market after 85, it was Kimberly Clark who came out with it. Pretty sure they were the first to do gender specific, leak barriers, elastic waist bands, and the had the market cornered on Pull ups and bed wetting pants for almost 2 decades
  15. I missed that, went back and re-read it. It was one line. My bad Huggies didn’t introduce pull ups until 1989, honestly, they were my first diaper as a teenager and they were thicker and more absorbent than the ones today in my opinion. Same with Good nites in 94 though the best run of those were 1997-2001 when they were plain white and came in L/XL
  16. Is it cloth or disposable diapers? Only ask because diapers in the 80’s weren’t easy to take off and put back on so it seems like cloth diapers but they are a little more time consuming to put on and there is no mention of rubber or vinyl pants or a diaper cover.
  17. I was so glad to see this story wasn’t abandoned. Sorry to hear about what you are going through though. Wyrd Bid Ful Eraed, trust in whatever deity or spiritual manifestation you believe in. Warm thoughts that it will all be alright.
  18. UK size 8 Pampers and Tesco’s, are about the same size as Pampers size 7 in the US. It’s also interesting to note that size 8 diapers in the U.S. are about the same size as size 6 diapers from 20 years ago. I did a comparison of size 6 diapers from 1998 to size 7 pampers cruisers from 2007, 2015 and 2023 and size 8 pampers from UK and US. The diapers are in fact getting smaller and the companies are just marketing them as bigger. Even large goodnites from 1996 are bigger than XL Goodnites from last year. in response to “welfare” and low income families being lazy, that’s just not true, in fact, delayed potty training is more common in low income families because they are predominantly single parent households and the single parent is over worked and under paid. The percentage living off welfare is less than 4% of all welfare recipients. There is also the issue of neurological and developmental disorders being on the rise. Yes autism and ADHD is over diagnosed but there are some good studies linking diet to the increase as well. My youngest is autistic and was in diapers until age 8 and was 1 of 6 kids in his class of 306 that was still in diapers. I have friends who are educators who say they see about the same number on average.
  19. Pampers size 7 were introduced in 2006
  20. Which chapter was updated to reflect this change? Also, waiting with baited breath for the next chapter 🥰
  21. That’s the way I read it, he was in his underwear, contemplating the diaper in his hands and comparing it to the pull-ups he usually wears
  22. You might want to re-read the description again, I didn’t see anywhere where the pull-up is described as having tabs. That being said, Some pull-ups do have tabs, Korean and Japanese good-nites do or at least did at one point and seem to remember dry-nites in Europe did at one point as well. I mean, not exactly tabs, reattachable Velcro sides like Huggies Pull-ups have
  23. People who call themselves “babies” “littles” “ babygirl” or they say age play is their kink but act disgusted or grossed out by people who do wear diapers . I understand being into age play and not liking diapers but that doesn’t make them better than people who are into diapers 🤷‍♂️
  24. Thanks for the update, really loving this story
  25. I read Gerald’s Game about 3 years after I realized I was in fact ABDL, going back and re-reading older Stephen King and subsequently later Kng novels, I have realized that about 95% of his works include at least a single mention of diapers, bed wetting, pants pissing or messing. Not implying King is ABDL, but obviously he finds anything infantilizing, horrifying
