  1. People who call themselves “babies” “littles” “ babygirl” or they say age play is their kink but act disgusted or grossed out by people who do wear diapers . I understand being into age play and not liking diapers but that doesn’t make them better than people who are into diapers 🤷‍♂️
  2. Thanks for the update, really loving this story
  3. I read Gerald’s Game about 3 years after I realized I was in fact ABDL, going back and re-reading older Stephen King and subsequently later Kng novels, I have realized that about 95% of his works include at least a single mention of diapers, bed wetting, pants pissing or messing. Not implying King is ABDL, but obviously he finds anything infantilizing, horrifying
  4. Page 208, at least in the hard copy first print, “Besides, there were weirder kinks; Frieda Soames from across the street had once confessed to Jessie ( after 2 drinks before lunch and a 1/2 a bottle of wine during) that her ex husband had enjoyed being powdered and diapered.”
  5. If Biden had any common sense left, he would step down and let someone younger try to beat Trump. At this point I don’t know what scares me more, 4 more years of Biden or 4 more years of Trump. As much as I despise him, my wallet says to vote for Trump if those are the 2 choices
  6. Would love to see a follow up to this 🥰🤞🤞
  7. Sorry, but the child pornography part is disgusting and unnecessary. The fact that his punishment isn’t really a punishment sickens me. People like that deserve to be in prison, not rewarded
  8. So I bought a bag, very disappointed 🤷‍♂️ definitely run on the smaller size and the tape placement is horrible. I wish they would just bring back single tape Cushies
  9. How did Americans Enthusiastically contribute to the attacks in Northern Ireland? Which by the way, there is a huge difference between revolutionaries trying to force an invading country out and religious zealots committing a terrorist attack on foreign soil.
  10. Sounds like an emotional security thing to me, which is obviously a huge part of age regression. For most of us, but not all, it’s diapers, bottles, pacifiers, onesies, and or footed pajamas that give us that sense of security from the past. It’s okay if that’s not your thing, there are a lot of age players/regressors who identify as middles. My advice is don’t stress it too much, explore and take the time to figure out who you are and what you are looking for. Oh, and welcome to DD 🥰
  11. Loved the update, sorry to hear about your parents, hopefully the transition went smoothly. Have fun in Belgium, lots to see and do there 👍
  12. Update to this coming soon? 🤞🤞 was really getting into this and would love to see it continue 🥰
  13. I thought you did a pretty good job of it. My first thought was hurricane, the problem is that if you don’t want to outright say hurricane, only people who have actually experienced hurricanes will get it right away.
  14. Sounds more like a hurricane 🤷‍♂️
  15. I absolutely agree with everything you said. It’s almost like ABDL is the new edgy cringe for TV and Hollywood, anything to make us look ridiculous and creepy. Like I said, I never read Fifty Shades, but my understanding from talking to people that had, that it was very soft porn, equivalent to what they use to air on Cinamax after hours 🤷‍♂️😂 the BBC show, Diary of a Call Girl did an episode where the main character took a job and was shocked when she got to the John’s apartment and he was dressed like a baby and wanted to be babied for the time he already paid for. I found that to be very tasteless and 1 dimensional too. I honestly can’t think of any movie or TV show that has ever been fair or kind to ABDL. Stephen King actually mentioned ABDL in Gerald’s Game in one brief paragraph and doesn’t portray it as anything other than a niche kink that some people engage in
  16. Right plot devices, wrong shows: Christine wears an adult diaper in Grey’s Anatomy Never seen or read Fifty Shades but I couldn’t find confirmation of that taking place anywhere and it was CSI not criminal minds with the Bruce Eiger character, the episode was called King Baby, I believe 🤷‍♂️
  17. So first, not to nitpick but Oscar Wilde was an Irish-English aristocrat who grew up speaking English and learned French and German as a child. If he spoke Irish Gaelic, (which there is no proof of) he definitely didn’t write in it. By the end of the Famine there were less than 300,000 people fluent in Irish Gaelic, a number that would drop to around 17,000 by 1911. Furthermore, I have a small collection of of early Wilde books, first prints, first press, all in English. Yes you are correct about the origins of the phrase but Wilde was the one who put his dramatic flair to, so in short, yes Oscar Wilde was in fact quoted as saying “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness”. I am not trying to be argumentative but Oscar Wilde is near and dear to my heart, I wrote my thesis paper on him in graduate school. Also, my family is from Ireland and I spent every summer there with my aunt, which is how I was turned on to Wilde to begin with.
  18. That’s an Oscar Wilde quote, but it’s not the whole quote which is why people often misunderstand or misquote it out of context. ”imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness” what he was implying was that imitation is not at all an art form but a tool of the ignorant and unimaginative people who lack insight or creativity to create anything themselves.
  19. Pretty sure that’s from Good Omens 😂😂 I absolutely love Neil Gaimon. Like I said, I really consider myself a moderate more than a conservative. “If you’re not a liberal at 25, you are heartless, if you’re not a conservative by 35, you are mindless” (special props if you know who said that). I maintain my liberal social beliefs from my 20’s, I believe we all should have equal rights and equal opportunities, and if it doesn’t hurt anyone then you do you. All of my friends and both of my wives (ex and current, props to any man who can survive more than 1 wife at a time 🤷‍♂️😂) are either left leaning moderates or squarely left. I enjoy surrounding myself with people who have their own opinions and views, I don’t understand this modern idea that we all have to have the same opinions to be validated. I have genuinely enjoyed this discussion with you, because it didn’t digress into an angry, stubborn standoff that resulted in insults and vitriol
  20. I absolutely agree with you on this, as do most people, if it’s not hurting anyone and doesn’t affect “me”, then people really don’t care one way of another. The media wants us divided on these issues and others to keep us fighting amongst ourselves; that way we don’t notice when the left and the right are collectively robbing us all
  21. I support a fair wage, meaning the wage you receive is congruent to the work you do. I don’t support minimum wage increases for several reasons but the main 1 is that a poor person making 7.50 an hour will be just as poor making 15 dollars an hour. The rich and the politicians are the only ones who benefit from it. I was born and raised poor, definitely made poor decisions that forced me to do 1 of 2 things, continue the cycle of poverty and become a burden to the system and society, or work to change things. Even in 1994 minimum wage wasn’t enough to survive off so I worked 2 full time jobs and went without a lot of basic luxuries and didn’t eat out, clipped coupons and ate as cheap as possible and I saved money wherever and whenever I could. I also worked my way up and earned raises and promotions at my jobs. Ultimately I ended up joining the military and that’s how I got my college degrees. Obviously just because this worked for me doesn’t mean it works for everyone, but there needs to be a drive and determination. We should be focusing more on how shift people in a better direction, whether it is college or trade schools, FYI Mechanics make more than doctors in some areas due to demand. But if people want a living wage doing an entry level High schooler’s job then the real issue isn’t minimum wage, it’s laziness and entitlement. Jesus himself said “ give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him to fish and he will never go hungry”
  22. I think I understand what you are saying but I have to tell you, as a fiscal republican, supporting a fair wage and being opposed to minimum wage increases and being anti-union is not hypocrisy, it’s a core belief in republican economics. I don’t want to argue values or beliefs and say I am right and Democrats are wrong because the truth is both sides are partly right and partly wrong but mostly ignorant. That said, my belief is that unions are no longer necessary, they have become independent political machinations that only benefit the people in charge. As for minimum wage, I don’t believe minimum wage jobs were ever or should ever be considered a career. Too many people want to work at Taco Bell for the rest of their lives but have the lifestyle that educated people with degrees or real skills have. Now more than ever we celebrate mediocrity and shun intelligence and hard work. Working at Taco Bell is supposed to be hard with small paychecks, so that you want to have a better job. Living wage for jobs designed for high school students and college students only adds to inflation and devaluation of the money the rest of us actually work hard to earn
  23. Multiple reasons, in the 70’s and 80’s there were more stay at home moms (who had the time to potty train), cloth diapers were still accounting for the majority of diaper choices for parents which required more work, and disposable diapers though extremely thick and comfortable (speaking from experience), were not capable of the absorption of 21st century diapers, (which honestly started getting to the current capacity in the early 90’s), which meant wet diapers and messy diapers felt uncomfortable. Diapers now are designed to feel dry even after several hours and multiple wettings which eliminates the association of being wet and being uncomfortable, so kids now take longer to realize that they are wet and uncomfortable. I also believe believe that the amount of screen time has turned toddlers into zombies, they are too distracted to notice they are peeing and because the diapers are so affective, by the time they recognize that they are wet, it’s been multiple wettings, which also sets back potty training. Autism is on the rise too, when I was a teenager in the early nineties, autism affected 1-456 kids, when my son was born in 1999, it was 1-156, and when I started working in developmental psychology in 2010, it was 1-92, and now it’s 1-56. This is due to a combination of things, diagnosis criteria has been changed, parents are screening their children sooner, and it’s not a stigma like ot was before. In the 70’s and 80’s when I was growing up, kids were forced to assimilate, by any means possible, (shame and corporal punishment most often), but now we have a softer approach to child rearing. My youngest is autistic (moderate to severe rating) and wasn’t potty trained until age 9, the number of times my parents and grandparents said it was because he was lazy, or we as parents were lazy was unbelievable. My mother actually suggested punishing him to get him to potty train 🙄 needless to say she was never allowed to be alone with my kids 😂😂
  24. As someone who has been a registered republican for almost 30 years I can tell you that it is really only about 14% of registered Republicans who identify as ultra conservatives. The majority of the party are fiscal conservatives or moderates like myself. I hate that the smallest majority of voters have hijacked The Republican Party and worship that wrinkled umpaloompa
