  1. What do YOU do when an absolute favorite diaper is about to be discontinued? I hope I heard wrong! But I think I heard they are ending production of Rearz Lil’ Squirts! So I panicked and I ordered as many as were available in my size from numerous vendors. Now my garage and storage facility are full. I actually only wear Lil’ Squirts when my littles are insisting! [emoji1405][emoji66][emoji1405] But these Lil’ Squirts are their absolute favorite of all time and they would be terribly sad if they expected Lil’ Squirtz and we put on a substitute. Now I think I have enough to keep them happy for the rest of their lives. However, my personal favorite is the NorthShore MegaMax. In terms of functionality (capacity) and comfort, there really is no adult diaper that is better than NorthShore’s MegaMax. And it appears that NorthShore is consistently moving toward becoming the most innovative of all the adult diaper companies.
  2. Wow! Progressive really is progressive! Here’s a “Baby Man” ad. https://jasongan.com/progressive-babyman.html
  3. X-Plus by TotalDry and a long t-shirt. [emoji18] I love vacations!
  4. While transferring files from a very old disk I saw an old guide that I found on the web a long time ago for caregivers. This was way back when baby powder was not a concern. The guide was 3 pages long, but I think they expose too much skin. Here is one part where the patients dignity is better protected. Does anyone know if a more updated guide for proper hygiene and skin care for incontinent adults is available?
  5. Thank you for sharing Sammich and Lollipops video. I like sweet cupcakes and lollipops. I eat them so much sometimes I feel like lollipop.
  6. Oh yes! Enjoy outdoor gardening on weekends for years in complete privacy inside our huge fence where we grow our own food. At end of gardening and harvesting day, and after clean diaper change into special diaper made for pool, we take a nice warm swim.
  7. If “money talks and bull.... walks,” then growing economic trends say that adult diapers are becoming de-stigmatized. And here is why. According to CNBC market analysts, who credit a rapid increase in the average age of citizens of industrialized nations, market statistics show that, though both categories are growing, disposable ADULT diaper sales are steadily “outpacing” actual BABY diaper sales. In fact, P&G has entered the adult diaper market stating that adult diapers are now the “fastest growing household product.” And with the growing normalization of adult diapers, companies like Depends are spending millions in advertisements showing adults walking around in public wearing nothing below the waist except their diapers. Perhaps equally telling is the fact that you can even find college classrooms with students occasionally doing skits in their diapers. It is inevitable that as adult diaper brands compete for your dollar, they will began to apply the same marketing principals that exist in the very successful baby diaper market where function is not all that matters to a growing consumer base. Form also matters. This means that, if a company wishes to thrive, the old lessons already learned by baby diaper engineers must quickly be applied to the designs of the newly booming adult diaper market, including festive colors, patterns and especially textures. Consumers want choices! The consumers will determine who will succeed and who will fail as millions will be drawn to the adult diaper brands that offer depth and breadth of products engineered for both function AND form, including designs for unique lifestyles and special needs. So look into the near future. Who will those thriving companies be? And as a consumer, what will YOU begin to demand in adult-diaper innovations?
  8. WOW! This is a great sale for outstanding adult diapers! TIME TO STOCK UP! Thank you for letting us know, DailyDi! Bambino is a thick and very comfortable diaper. The landing area of Bambino diapers is very wide and has high leak guards, which helps to prevent leaking even when the diaper is completely soaked.
  9. Most of the time I wear these types of longer lasting tape-on diapers. But there are times that the business clothing I’m wearing requires these much more close fitting pull-ups.
  10. Within this same 24 hours, how many fresh diaper changes (the putting on of a clean diaper) were disposable and how many were cloth?
  11. Wow! This conversation is old. [emoji849] But it’s still a good question. [emoji1783]
  12. It does seem wasteful to discard a quality highly absorbent diaper before it reaches full capacity, and these two diapers (Bambino Bianco on left & Wellness Superio on right) are juuust about there.[emoji1405]
  13. Hello NappieLuv, The problem is that the absorbent material inside your Attends attempts to quickly distribute wetness as widely and evenly as it can. So cutting holes in strategic locations of the diaper will not cause the wetness to automatically funnel into the second diaper. Only the wetness that is distributed directly to those holes can find its way out and that’s a very small percentage. If thickness is what you want, the best way to do it is to add more “stuffers” or if you can, order thicker diapers. There are lots of favorite heavy diapers available. You can learn about them by reading through this forum’s discussions. Hope this helps.
  14. Trying to answer only way we know how. Incontinence became one of many problems after surviving traumatic injuries. But eventually found comfort and peace after being rescued by little creature comforts.
  15. Friendly Correction: URL is www.thediaperladies.com Wishing you peace and comfort!
  16. Same here. Wet diaper. Soft dry bed. [emoji932]Wishing you peace and comfort.
  17. Yes, depends on day of week and who might be visiting. Sometimes just comfortable diaper. Other times wearing underpants over diaper. And sometimes wearing favorite lounge-shirt with small side zippers.
  18. Rusty Pins, I wish for you many magical nostalgic days and nights in the fantastical world of Harry Potter and his mysterious friends and allies. [emoji3316] Diaperguy, you have a very kind heart! Now THIS is true love! [emoji3590]
  19. Yes, and it was actually 4.1 pounds, which is nearly 1/2 gallons of water (.492 gal of h2o). That’s just slightly over 1,800 milliliters of water. TotalDry advertises that the “Ultimate” can hold only 1,700 ml, which is most likely closer to what it holds while being worn and pressed against the body. Here are the complete details: https://bambinodiapers.com/about-totaldry-boost-ups-ezp-32.html
  20. “Boo-Boo” has been with our little since comforting him when he was tiny and keeping him warm and cozy in a place that was too cold and harsh for a little boy. We have to be sooo gentle when cuddling with him. The end of his nose has worn down so much through time. Wish we could make it better. [emoji1405][emoji199][emoji3531]
  21. Yes, The shinny landing area is pretty crinkly. The rest of the diaper makes a softer crinkle sound similar to the soft plastic backed Attends. But this cheeper diaper is not very sturdy. If you handle it roughly during diaper change, you can easily cause damage to this diaper.
  22. Diaperguy, I wish for you many many build a bears. [emoji199][emoji1405] And willnotwill, I wish you lots and lots of time with Ikea rattle bear! [emoji199][emoji1405]
  23. A Prime Delivery from China![emoji2958] Good Nurse Adult Diaper
  24. Cruiser, You must be a mind reader! Since I already paid for the (plastic backed) TotalDry “Pads,” I actually gave that a go during daytime hours today. And it’s worked very well! In addition we can save money by negating the need for complete diaper changes and just changing the “Pads” when they reach full capacity. So I think you are right. Both options can work well for different occasions.
  25. I ordered both the TotalDry “BoostUp” and the TotalDry “Pad” to see for myself how they differ. Upon receiving my order, the difference became immediately clear. The “BoostUps” are designed to be worn with adult diapers or pull-ups while the “Pads” are designed to be worn directly inside your regular underpants, and like any other incontinence guard the “Pads” simply protect your underpants from wetness. But while doing my own product research, I also realized that this could very well be the most effective absorbency add-on that exists today! The speed in which the TotalDry product wicks away wetness was very surprising and it’s apparent ability to contain a high volume of wetness without leaking is most impressive! So I was able to find this explanation, which is actually on a distributors web page (bambinodiapers.com) Here is an excerpt from their page: “From the innovative absorbent core utilizing special time-released polymer (TRP) technology to the newly designed ultra soft, ultra dry 3D microporous cover material ...” Source: https://bambinodiapers.com/about-totaldry-boost-ups-ezp-32.html Yes this product is for real and it actually held 4.1 pounds of water in our home test, which is (.492 gal of h2o) nearly 1/2 gallon of water. That’s just slightly over 1,800 milliliters of water. TotalDry advertises that the “Ultimate” can hold only 1,700 ml, which is most likely closer to what it actually contains while being worn and pressed against the body.
