  1. I have a zippered plastic sheet on my bed. I put a washable mattress cover over the plastic sheet so I don't have to listen to the crinkling. That means more washing to do if I have a leak (which rarely happens), but with the mattress cover on top of the plastic sheet I can't feel the plastic sheet, so it's worth it.
  2. As far as I know, the reason why you're not supposed to put plastic pants in the dryer is because it makes the plastic pants hard and brittle. Like messyman said, as long as there's no melted plastic on the diapers, then you shouldn't have hurt anything.
  3. It depends on who's asking. The problem with lying is that you may end up either having to live the lie or get caught in the lie. Lying to a significant other is definitely out. But to most other people, I'm inclined to give either a polite "it's a private matter" or something like ultrapamper's "I need to wear them" response. I might tell a total stranger that I'm incontinent, since if a total stranger is asking me about something that is absolutely none of their business, then they get what they deserve... In defense of lying, however, there are plenty of people out there who don't deserve the truth. If I'm buying diapers at the store and I run into someone who I know is a gossip, then yeah, they're going to get something like the "they're for my grandmother" response.
  4. ...just to add to this, I did a WHOIS search, and it looks like they were hosted by HostMonster. HostMonster says on their site that they don't allow porn. HostMonster is based out of Utah, which is not the sort of state where you want to test the limits of what is legal in the world of porn. The webmaster of that site should've done more research. If you're trying to host scat pics, at the very least, you need a server based in a country where scat porn is legal.
  5. DPF has been gone a long time. Tommy is apparently too old or sick to deal with it, and it's been in a state of limbo for at least a couple of years. Fetware and Plastic-Pants.com both do locking pants.
  6. I bought a pack of the new Depend Maximum Protection recently, and I still had most of a old pack of Depend Maximum Protection that I had bought last Fall, so I did a back to back comparison. I couldn't tell any difference, other than the new ones have a slightly taller waistband. If someone hasn't worn Depend in several years, then yes, the new ones probably are better than what they remember because they have improved a bit over the years. But the ones I bought weren't any better than the ones I had from last Fall.
  7. I've long suspected that a large part of the reason why I like diapers is the taboo aspect. But it's hard to say whether or not I would still wear diapers if they were socially acceptable. I tend to think that I wouldn't, but who knows...
  8. Most annoying commercial? Nearly every one I've ever seen. Aside from the occasional Super Bowl quality commercial, they are, at best, an unwelcome interruption of whatever I'm watching. That most of them are also really freakin' stupid only adds salt to the wound. Commercials are one reason why I rarely watch TV. Though I have to say that the Head-On commercial is probably the worst I can think of...
  9. Considering this is Amy Sedaris we're talking about.... I'd assume it was done purely for humor. If her brother's descriptions are to be believed, I'm not sure even her immediate family know the real Amy Sedaris.
  10. Yeah, get the large, especially if you're taller than 5' 6" or so. They're sized WAY small. I'm a bit over 6', with a 30" waist, and I've considered getting larges. The Plus is good, about like a Tena Ultra. The X-Plus hold a lot more, comparable to an Abena X-Plus, but they're nearly twice as expensive, so it's kind of up to you as to how much you want to spend. Their "Premium" diapers are basically a hospital diaper. I like them because the cover is crinkly, but otherwise, they make Depend look like an Abena X-Plus. To say they don't hold much is an understatement.
  11. I bought a pack of the "new" Depends yesterday, and I'd say there's more change to the packaging than to the diaper. I still had a pack of the "old" Depends that I bought last fall, so I did a back to back comparison wearing and wetting. The newer ones have a slightly taller waistband, maybe a little bit better tapes, and that's it. Everything else seems identical. Depends fans can rest easy, they didn't screw up your diaper.

    Enenma's

Did you not do the enema you were asking about last week? http://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?showtopic=15277 Virtually every store I've been to only has two brands, Fleet and a generic. If you want to use a disposable enema, there's really only one option, buy a Fleet and use it. As for plain water enemas, there's going to be WAY more than just water coming out. If you want a quick flush of everything, a quart or two of water is the easiest option.
  13. Metallica's cover of Bob Segar's Turn the Page, when I really was on a lonely, lonesome highway, (a few miles) east of Omaha. Not really a "bad" time for the song to play, but it still makes me laugh when I think about it.
  14. If you're using a disposable Fleet-style enema, just follow the instructions on the box. They don't cause any pain, and you can hardly feel the tip, so there's really nothing to do beyond what is said in the instructions. If you're using a reusable bag-style enema, then put warm water in it, (not hot water) and hang the bag on something so that the bottom of the bag is no more than a foot or so above your stomach. Lay down on your back or left side, lube the tip with KY or similar, stick it in, and release the clamp. If you feel cramping, close the clamp to stop the flow of water. If the cramping doesn't go away, then let the enema out. Unless your doctor specified, you don't have to use the whole bag. Probably 1/4 to 1/2 of the bag will do the trick. There's really nothing to it, and it shouldn't cause any pain. Note, if you're using a bag-style enema, releasing it into a diaper will probably require far more absorption than you realize. A 2 quart enema will overflow an Abena X-Plus. Personally, since it's your first time, I'd suggest doing the enema while laying in your bathtub or on the bathroom floor, then releasing it into the toilet.
  15. Abena X-Plus... the Rolls-Royce of diapers.
  16. I've never heard of that seller. The diapers appear to be Tena Dry Comfort diapers, which I've never used and aren't listed on the Tena US website. The more expensive Tena diapers are good, but I'd guess these are a cheap diaper intended mainly for hospitals, so they may be even worse than Depends. Looking around the internet, they seem to be selling on better known sites for about $40 a case. Assurance diapers at Wal-Mart sell for about $10 a pack, which isn't much more than these cost after you include shipping. That would be the safer bet unless someone can vouch for this company.
  17. My answer depends on what degree of socially acceptable it would be. If we're talking about socially acceptable to the point that nobody thinks twice about someone walking around in only a diaper - in the way that (almost) nobody thinks twice about women wearing pants - then sure, I'd wear diapers in public. ...or then again, maybe I wouldn't be wearing diapers at all, since part of this fetish for me is the taboo aspect of it. But then there are things that are socially acceptable to do in private, but not in public. Sexy lingerie is sold openly in stores, but you normally can't wear it in public without raising some eyebrows. That seems to be a level of socially acceptable that we might make it to in the distant future, and at that level, no, I wouldn't wear diapers openly in public.
  18. It's been a few years since I've done it, but I remember doing at least ten cheap diapers (probably Depends or CVS) at once. I like thick, but I'm not into waddling, so the most that I do anymore is two or three. Two Abenas or Molicares is my limit for comfort.
  19. I'll second the suggestions to get Adblock. I use it all the time on forums because I don't like large signature pics. As for your original question - different people have different tastes, and different people are here for different reasons. If you can't accept what's allowed - indeed, commonly said and shown - on a forum, then you may be best off to leave and start a forum that better fits your tastes. You're just stirring up trouble by calling into question the "taste" of some of the photos here. The proliferation of such photos on this forum ought to be a big enough clue that those photos are approved of by a large number of people here, and that you're going to piss people off by suggesting that they should follow certain (read: your) standards in photographic composition.
  20. All of my answers are based on the assumption that it's reversible. I wouldn't do any permanently... totally incontinent - Yes urinary incontnent only - Yes a bedwetter - Yes a baby again - No a kid again - Maybe occasionally. Adults get to do more fun stuff though. a girl instead of a boy - Yes... I'd rather take this pill than any of the others. Being able to switch genders on a whim would be awesome. a boy instead of a girl - Already a boy
  21. If I remember correctly, AB Hunnies, Nappy School, Plastic Babe, Plastic Mommy, and probably some others that I've forgotten, are mostly based out of the UK. (those site are all the same models, just with different themes) As for the diapers, I'd nearly guarantee that they're just size 7 baby diapers on a very small woman. Poke around the photos forum here and you'll find plenty of pictures that female members posted of themselves in size 7 diapers.
  22. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_conse...n_North_America The link above is a list of age of consent laws in the US. A little over half of US states are 16, the rest are 17 or 18. In some states there is a age difference exception, so that it's legal even if one person is underage as long as the age difference is less than a certain number of years. (usually less than 3) You need to find out and follow the law on this one. Even if she's fine with it, her parents or someone else might not be, and could put you in a world of hurt quite easily. Also, remember that federal law is 18. Porn and internet communications are generally federal jurisdiction. It may be legal for you to have sex with her in your state, but illegal to simply talk dirty in a chat room or instant messenger. Legal issues aside, the problem that I would see is if she's naive for her age and / or you're taking advantage of her. But I've met 16 year olds who were smarter, more mature, and more world-wise than many 19 year olds, so if she's a smart girl AND it's legal, I don't think it's weird. There is the issue that Azdl mentioned about different stages of life, but I don't think that would apply to everyone. But once you get older, a three year age difference is nothing.
  23. No. My waist is 6" smaller than your's, and the smalls are WAY too small for me. It might work if you're short - like 5' tall - and have a 34" waist, but it's going to be tight. Secure diapers run very small, at least for tall, skinny people.
  24. I've gone through a pack of both Assurance and Depends within the last few months, and they're fairly similar. Assurances are white, plastic backed, and have no markings other than a thin yellow piss indicator line. The plastic backing feels almost identical to Depends, though the inside feels less papery than Depends. I think the Assurances might be a little bit thicker, but I don't have any left to compare to a Depends. I would say they feel a bit closer to the old plastic CVS / Walgreens diapers than Depends do. On the downside, Assurances seem to be less absorbent, or at least less tolerant of flooding. They also have much worse tapes. Maybe I just got a bad pack, but the tapes never would stay stuck for me. All in all, just try them. They're a little bit cheaper, and there really isn't that much of a difference anyways - especially since you aren't wetting in them.
