I love diapers , but can tell you I became a DL because IC was a permanent issue that is time consuming and boring that is until you start a campaign to try ever diaper you can get your hands on for at least an entire day once you step away from medical and start into the ABDL world it is alot nicer, if you can avoid IC I recommend it , don't look to the answer to why you wear to be IC , screw everybody that can't handle your fetish , life is to damn short, if it's there life they can do with it what they want, when it comes to your life enjoy it anyway you can legally. I was in the Health jail in February and was extremely surprised at the quality care I got for a change, Nurses learned I guess from the days I don't remember that I needed to be really diapered because I too wet like crazy and between the 2 large bore IV'S I wet the whole bed linens gowns the whole ball of wax, so every 30 minutes they appeared and changed me because any longer than that and they would have to do the backstroke to get to the bed, not once did I ever need the call Bell and because they did not trust me to do it on my own they called in my room service ( I was addicted to a chicken dish, ate it 3 meals a day ) and since they new when they ordered, they were Johnny on the spot to check my glucose and give me my insulin, normaly I am a he'll raiser, I worked in the medical field so I know proper care and have never had a problem putting my foot up somebody's ass , my Doctor has lost an average of one nurse a year because I have gotten them fired for any number of stupidity in neglecting to care for somebody, no Bush has ever died from my beating around it. Do it right or don't do it at all, I'll warn the nurse twice ,if three is achieved I have them fired , I do the same with my Doctors , then again that's probably why all my specialists are in the city, the locals are lazy and cut corners and patients get hurt , good patients like me. I have crazy Medical problems but I will not let them jeopardize my life because they want to rush patients in and out and not listen to what they say. Anyways off my soap box my last visit was for a stroke and I got some off the best care I have ever had, they had to have changed me like fifty times , and once I was able to speak they even took my diapering advice and applied it, it really mattered to the Nurses and they were all young so not alot of diaper experience among them , before I left I gave them a master class that they really appreciated my acquired wisdom of nearly 25 years of diapers, do not ever be afraid to refuse something that you know is not an intervention that will help you or worse hurt you, you pay there salaries don't pay that tab with your life. Yes diapers are stigmatized by many adults of a juvenile nature and mindset, if you need them wear them and screw anyone who is not adult enough to understand or comprehend that your diapers are as much for you as they are for them, I bet they will shut up and more or importantly grow up the first time someone pees on there couch or Christensen the guest room bed because they did not wear adequate protection . If they can't accept who you are as a person with or without continence they do not deserve or rate your time and friendship throw them back and get yourself some real friends . Diapers are insurance that your pants will not be ruined or what you are siting on or laying on will be protected from an accident, to somebody that item cost time and money. Does Motor vehicles tell people who own a Yugo, you do not have to carry insurance because your vehicle is cheap and ugly and it would be blessing if you wrecked it, no because whatever you wreck it on has significance to the owner, just because you have a little car does not mean that your not going to be in an accident with Ferrari or Rolls Royce , your car matters to you as much as there's do to them , just as your diapers. Well looking suck's, please squeeze the diapers , operate the tapes, take them out and ride em hard and put em away wet you only live once ,and the sooner you stop looking the sooner you start living, once I was Incontinent and now I just love exploring the wide world of wearing diapers, this used to be a really boring sad Medical problem, and now it's a hobby unto itself trying to keep up with all the different diapers , and trying them is not wearing one , trying them is test diapering an entire day, that will help you form an opinion , just one can be a quality control failure whereas an entire day can tell you something. Yes , I just had a stroke at the end of February and my Hospital had Attends , that worked rutty well and considering the amount of IV fluids they had running into me the Nurses showed up every half hour to change me, a higher level of protection just would have allowed the to come hourly and maybe not have to change the entire bed as well as wash me so frequently. In any event a got remarkable care at a time I really needed it, for a majority of the time in the hospital the Nurses did everything for me including ordering room service , which was my "job" but they did not trust me to be able to do it on my own, I was much like a baby until they got my stroke dealt with, and then I as able to take back control of my own affairs, I felt very fortunate in that some of the Nurses know me from when I was not disabled and where therefor alot of emotional support as well as physical. Due to the extreme black box warnings on Clozapine you would need an incompetent Doctor to prescribe that for schizoaffective disorder , because of the incredible risks with taking that you would also have to have weekly blood draws, Clozapine is reserved for the most serious dangerously psychotic patients who have failed repeated trials of all Neuroleptics / Major Tranquilizers ( Haldol, Thora zine prolixin etc) in dosages approaching toxicity with parenteral administration and in concert with Atypical antipsychotics ( Olanzipine , Quietapine, etc) and basicly Clozapine becomes an option when about the only thing to do with you is put you in the State Hospital as a permanent resident, basicly you give up all your rights and are run by a medical staff who know what a body requires to live and that is provided and nothing else, then if you are Incontinent you will be diapered and wear locking thick heavy rubber pants that even if you could come within 100 feet of something sharp you could not damage, when you are this sick the risk of killing you because of liver damage caused by the Drug is considered humane, but you also face the number crunchers with your insurance provider deciding Wether your "QALY" is worth it , basicly some of the antipsychotics injectable formulations cost over $500,000 a year so if you can be Hospitalized and given Haloperidol decant ate till you sit around and drool on yourself and bother no one they will go with that option because it is a lot cheaper than giving you Clozapine, so if you don't mind losing all your rights and being controlled as far as dress food entertainment etc this is the road for you ( then again I may just fake this for myself if the "Donald" takes the White House) , so your chances are slim at best to get your doctor to provide this, and then even if you succeed you may be just lose because your insurance company says no. If you embark on this road just remember there is no plan b, once you get labeled as SMI and are appointed a caretaker, to decide what you do ,and who you see, what you eat , you will either be in an adult group home or a hospital awaiting discharge to one, you will never own a gun, or drive a car , or use a computer, or play video games again ( at most facilities these are considered too stimulating for patients, you will be on a strict "little house on the Prairie" diet) And if you fuss over it they can just restrain you in the rubber room for awhile or increase your meds until you are over sedated or become compliant with what they say, they really don't care which. So let us know what you decide so we can say goodbye to you, you will get diapers and bed wet once you start this because most people object to playing by other people's rules and because you will be adjudicated incompetent when you don't do as your told they restrain you and increase your medication until you do, so they will put diapers on you for there convience not yours, and can restraint and medicate you forcibly by Doctors order and simply check your pulse and blood pressure every 4 hours indefinately. If I am knowing I am going to the Hospital I will bring my own from home, I am sure my insurance appreciates how thoughtful that is considering they charge like $12 for each one they supply, which are usually really cheap, the people that do purchasing obviously are not diaper wearers otherwise they would get real good ones , they could buy good ones and still profit 9+ bucks .
