I guess for me i can normally feel when I have to go and some pressure. I kinda find it more convenient half the time to go in my diaper rather than race to the toilet, then wrestle my pants, plastic pants and tapes- hopin that I don't tear the diaper too bad- or fish my jimmy out sometimes 2-3+

What is a good diaper for sports or doing active stuff? I am looking for something moderately more cheaper and bit thinner than what I normally wear. Right now I wear Northshorecare supreme and dry 24/7 diapers- have some leaking issues - not extremely severe though it can get a bit heavy when I am really stressed, anxious or panicky. What do other incontinent or 24/7 wearers use when they hit the gym or go for a walk/jog? Thanks

Northshore care supreme! Try out a couple sample of Large first These things are super absorbant and amazing. oh yeah and diaperboilkid's suggestion about a booster may help if you are a SUPER SOAKER.

Pretty much most of the time. I sometimes try to get by without a nappy. And sometimes I succeed as my incont tends to be somewhat intermittent But then I am reminded why I need padding as a wet spot seems to form.

So, where to begin? I recently received my order for Large Supreme Northshore briefs. those briefs have been amazing and a new favorite. The fit is wonderful and everything. I will do a review on those diapers later. But I also requested a sample of the newer Lite version- and those arrived recently today. I was excited to try those on at my next change for the day. But lo and behold- as i unwrapped the diaper from its clear plastic wrapping, the plastic wrap had actually somehow 'melted' onto the brief! And removing it actually tore a slit right in the middle of the brief! I have never had this happen before with any diapers nor samples i tried. To note- the 'clear plastic wrapping' is rather thin- and so I suspect that whether it is the storage, processing or shipment- somewhere on the line the wrapping melted onto the diaper! I will try to get in contact with Nortshore about this. Has this ever happened to anyone else? where the plastic bag/wrapping film has melted onto a diaper? I wouldn't even feel safe testing the diaper now that it has these holes and slits in them.... I was really looking forward to having these be my new "exercise go-to active diapers" when I need some extra protection during workouts..... So far- northshore lite or maybe its packaging gets a 1/10......

Brian- you are really young at heart- so you are fine I became somewhat incontinent after a VERY long morass of a plethora of symptoms following my car accident last year when I was 25. For the most part it tends to be somewhat mild dribbling/little bit of leaking- unless i am anxious/excited/super scared.

oh man Brian! So sorry to hear about your super slow recovery and the pain and frustration of having to deal with incompetent doctors I understand your frustrations - and it is a real shame After my car accident, i have gone to see so many doctors and therapists- and many of them are highly incompetent unfortunately. I even ended up seeing about half a dozen urologists to work out my urinary and pelvic pain issue... Brian i hope you get well soon.

So brian how are things going? is everything 'functioning'-ish now?

I wear like 24/7 now for several months. worst part is the thick diapers & plastic pants in the Summer heat. I have a routine now of about 2-3 diapers a day- varying between Molicare Super Plus, Dry 24/7 and Abri Form X Plus. I alternate my diaper depending on what im doing that day- like workdays i prefer to use slightly thinner diapers I guess an advantage is generally i feel comfortable and bit more confident and am always reminded of the secure and safe padding between my legs Plus i rarely have to find a public toilet other than to address some mishaps every now and then. Or I occasionally have to change during the day.

Ok I am gonna add a little to my review. These diapers seem to last me a good 15-16 hours on average. So what I've done is used these for my- at home diapers when I don't have to go to the office. And when I am at work I wear my abri form x pluses. I also use the leak aster pul plastic pants and a onesie. That helps hold things together and reduce crinklings to non existent. When I want to enjoy my crinkling I just pull off my plastic pants

I really don't like the fit on these diapers. Although the absorbency is not bad, the cut is so dang small it is like a kids size pampers! Quite ridiculous

Baby Brian, it really wouldn't make too much sense. Just think about it- the depend forum is not the only incontinence/diaper forum. There are couple dozen or so forums

I wear pretty much 24/7. I wear mostly premium diapers. Change into Abri Form X-plus in the morning on workdays. And that lasts about 12 hours. I change after dinner into my evening diaper. And then on weekends i just wear my more comfy- dry 24/7- and that sometimes lasts me for about 15-16 hours depending. When i get occasional flareup or something, change bit more often and increase air out time

I should have added- these diapers for some reason are really fitted small. They are very short lengthwise. So they almost fall off and the padding is quite small but it does expand a lot.

Oh and i must mention- they get a point and a half deduction for the tapes. Tapes on these aint that great unfortunately. They keep popping off regardless.

So just ordered some from xpmedical- they had a sale $99 for case of 72. These things are super thick and bulk up quite a bit when wet. Shipping was fast and discreet. And the odor control of these are fabulous. However because they bullk up so much, they are not well suited for wearing during the day in an office setting. But they are just perfect for running errands or at home. These things get 8/10 cuddles
