    Welcome !! Enjoy !!
  3. Regarding Jumpin Jammerz - I have a pair but rarely wear. They are sold with snappers down the front and legs. Perhaps it works fine with a smaller person or one who sleeps without moving much. In my case the snappers often seem to come undone. Very time consuming too. Much prefer the zippered version which is not available at JJ. I have 3 from Kozy Komfy which I like very much. Supposedly KK will be back up and running again on Sept 15. On Target. Though I can't fit into them at 6 ft / 215 lbs, I have looked at them. Its my understanding that they are not in the stores year round- just in the fall. Well this is the time to look!
  4. ^ Monday. 3 Cheers! I don't have to hide the disposal of my diapers by rushing out for a slight "addition" to the trash on Monday mornings while my wife isn't watching. About 12 days ago, my wife learned that it would be a good thing for me to wear diapers so now I just put one on every night without sneaking. > Fulfilling my addiction to DD by reading and posting. v Have you ever stood in front of a class or business meeting (to give a talk or lesson or presentation) while wearing a diaper under your clothes? (Explain briefly)
  5. I am not sure what is drawing you to diapers.... What do you think? Desire of being young child/baby and experience the warmth of acceptance an infant gets? Is it imagining the tactile experience of plastic covering or something snug on your privates? Is it the convenience of masturbation? The reasons for your "draw" IF (that's a big IF) you are able to dissect them, have a bearing on... 1) How easy it would be for you to walk away. 2) How you understand the "moral" aspects of this. Of course morality is a personal and variable thing. If the bringing up that you refer to is a religious thing, check out one adbl's web site. He has both a deep Christian faith and has come to accept diapers (and other infantilist characterisitics) in himself. http://understanding.infantilism.org/faith.php The whole issue of "shame" or being "ashamed" goes beyond morality since many people can wrongly feel ashamed of things that OTHERS feel are immoral but they do not. Then it becomes a question of aligning your sense of esteem with your morality. And the rest of the world's views only matter to the extent that they prevent you from experiencing your goals at making a living, etc... but that gets a little off onto another topic. My own opinion, based on my experiences, is this: Maybe you should take some time to think out your OWN values and "morals." Is diaper-wearing, and whatever other pleasures you choose to experience, REALLY something to be ashamed of? Until then, try delaying this activity of diaper sampling. You do have a life-time ahead of you. I personally believe that this pleasure, as many others, is habit forming (the more you do it, the more you want to do it). Is it a bad habit? I personally do not think so! Is it something to be ashamed of? I personally don't think so! But if you do currently think of it as "bad" -- what harm is there in delaying while you think this through? To jump in while feeling terribly ashamed of yourself doesn't sound like much fun, does it?
  6. Baby D- As a part of your research, are you familiar with the research that Bittergrey has done (and continues to do)? See, http://understanding.infantilism.org/why.php I am an "OTHER" and an anomaly. I didn't start wearing until about 54 (not because of incontinence). About a year later I began buying and wearing toddler type clothes. It is an escape. It is sexual. It is does have connections to my childhood, but not as obviously as so many others. It is, in summary, a comfy, pleasurable, escape from the many aspects of life I find to be disappointing.
  7. You can find an interesting comparison of some diapers by looking at this commercial sites chart: http://www.xpmedical.com/dtest.html It's true that most of these products are not available locally. As dependsforme asks, why not buy online? I have used Depends, Attends, and AbenaX-Plus (at diff times?) with a plastic pant and have still leaked in bed after several peeings. This is true primarily while lying on my tummy. Lying on your back while sleeping is a major solution but I don't sleep well on my back and invariably turn frequently.
  8. Sippy cup --- definitely. This one is new to me today: www.diaperclips.com
  9. Dr P disposable diapers (available in Asia) Really cool!
  10. With the exception of the terry sheets, I have seen most of these items for sale. The real problem is manufacturing items, in particular the kind of diaper the original poster mentioned. Getting a company to make the kind of diaper you design has been tried several times. The most successful (at least in getting his idea into production) has been the Classy Comfort diaper. The fact that it is a specialty item has made the cost of the individual diapers quite high (some posters have even ridiculed the effort saying the sincere effort was taking advantage of the community). OK. Here is my request. Sneakers in an adult size with a kid like design and especially including the red flashing lights!!! I have looked for these for at leat 5 years. I think in the late 80s or early 90s, Skechers (sp?) made adult sneakers with flashers. No more. Anyway, it basically requires a crafts person to make the sneaker as there would be very few sold. I would expect the cost to be close to US$100.
  11. I think that's a great idea for all the reasons you mentioned. Plus the fact that it makes very visible the DD determination to maintain an 18+ policy, something that is good when worried outsiders/newcomers/or anti-ABDLers first view the site. In addition, it may help deter underage people from posting (a wee wee bit).
  12. Well, various friends of mine know - strictly those I have met as "Joey." I have enjoyed the friendship of several people, having met for meals and/or playtime. But, amazingly, my wife now knows. This is after 6+ years of wearing secretly! It is still deceptive, because she thinks it is because of "real" bedwetting. She actually suggested it. Because of a family trip where I thought it would be "embarrassing" at a B&B, she had no problem buying Depends with me while we were at a grocery store. I have been wearing them nightly since. On the third night I told her I had been using them while traveling for quite a while and explained that, in addition to keeping hotel sheets dryer, I sleep better as I don't have to get up regularly thru the nite. "You pee in them on purpose?" Yes, because I can get backj to sleep more easily than getting up and going to the bathroom. "Oh." This all happened 8 days ago.
  13. I sleep with my Teddy almost every nite. He travels with me. Rarely (as below) he comes with me on outings. (Normally he wears a pullup altho not in the pic below.)
  14. Plastic mattress cover (preferabky with baby print and really crinkly sounding) : )
  15. I voted, "no pay" I come here often and very much enjoy and appreciate the site. I have never paid to belong to a site and can't picture ever doing that. I understand the need to support the site; I try to do that by supporting advertisers and the like. I think any type of pay system would change the character of the site as it would delimit the wide diversity of participants. As for pictures, aren't there a heck of a lot of pics in the coppermine galleries? Mostly I check the boards by clicking "view new posts" almost daily; then check the stories and other DD features about once monthly. Never use chat.
  16. Interesting question. But, as often is the case, poll questions are hard to phrase... "Exhibition of myself in nappies in public." Variations: wearing nothing but a diaper and t-shirt in a mall, restaurant, beach etc wearing nothing but a diaper and t-shirt in one's front yard (visible from street) wearing a diaper under attention getting AB clothing so that one can surmise it is there even if not visible in a mall, restaurant, beach etc wearing a diaper under attention getting AB clothing so that one can surmise it is there even if not visible in one's front yard (visible from street) wearing a diaper such that it sticks out noticeably from one's pants (backside or leg openings of shorts, etc) in a mall, restaurant, beach etc Some may interpret the list to mean only the first one or two items; others may think it means any item; and so on. Personally, I would not likely ever do the first item. But the last three are things I've done.
  17. I know what you mean. I was in Union Station in LA, having arrived on a nice overnite train from Albuquerque. I was going to change to a train that would take me up to Portland OR. The train was canceled due to a derailment. I was stuck in the station, knowing I'd have to find my way to the airport ($50 taxi) and fly up to Portland. I needed to get my baggage back which was ticketed to Portland and would probably end up going with the train as far as Sacramento. The Station is not airconditioned. It was like 90. I was sent back and forth to three places to locate my baggage while carrying heavy carryons. I am dripping with sweat. Finally... when the baggage clerk said I should look in lost and found. I yelled, "That's just plain bullshit!!!" A little girl nearby stared at me. I was wearing shortalls (very wet diaper under), baby print shirt, and a cap with Winnie the Pooh on it. Unfortunately, the diapers didn't help that day.
  18. Before I would consider abandoning my sometimes diapered self, you'd first have to find world peace. Since part of my AB side is to escape the curse of mankind (endless political posing; hatred, genocide; poverty, misery). Let me know if you have a solution other than religion. Meanwhile, I'll just keep on regressing periodically. Then its back to NPR for updates on human misery.
  19. Yes, many years ago with the family. We did it once with 3 kids. Borrowed the tent. Camping in this case meant campgrounds, not wilderness. But I am not the camping type. More the hotel type Have you ever written a letter to the (any) President [PM] - If so, about what? Would you ever do it (again)?
  20. Real convenient when traveling by plane.... during some flights the seat belt sign is on for hours!
  21. As several have said, there were no disposables when I was a baby... hence, no research needed. And, like InDpnds, for some reason I prefer disposables now. So much trabel makes cloth a difficult choice anyway.
  22. I read an average of five mystery novels a month. Just finished Close to the Bone by David Wiltse -- Pros: held attention; Cons: So improbable a hero character, especially the ending
  23. When I was in the 4th grade, I would get comfort from imaginary conversations at night, while waiting to fall asleep, from my heroes, Frank and Joe (hence my name) Hardy. This was in part precipitated by the death of my mother from polio the previous summer. These fantasy conversations revolved around being a sick child in bed, but whom the Hardys very much cared about and included in their adventures. I'm not sure of the connection, but one night I created a "diaper" using a towel stuck into my underpants and peed in it. Realizing I now had a pee-soaked towel, and having no idea how to hide it, I put it into a wooden case my grandfather had made for me and put it under my bed. A few days later, after school, my grandfather confronted me with his discovery of the super-stinking towel and ruined case. I never forgot the humiliation, but don't remember much else of the incident. Some of these stories are the basis of my fictionalized version on my own Geocities website. Have you ever met someone via the internet, then met for "real" -- and then found a place to diaper (change diaper) one another?
  24. Those "Depend Boosts" are awfully hard to find in stores. I never seem to happen on a place that has them. I was in a "Giant" store in PA tonite and all they had there were the refastenable underwear. Grrr. I also like the Attends brand for fit and overall pleasure, but agree they just don't absorb as they should.
