  1. Unfortunately it can be a normal transition I have been diapered 24/7 for 8 years and a few years ago I started to have unexpected bowel movements they have need steadily increasing over time . I informed my urologist and doctor they did not seam surprised or concerned, Most times I make it to the bathroom intime but when it happens I cant stop it or slow it down especially if im walking it seems to help it along unfortunately. I have accepted the fact I may soon be dual IC as theres no sence in stressing out anout it since theres nothing I can do. Make sure you let your doctor know about the bowel accidents but try not to stress about it as long as it stays contained in your diaper and you can clean up and change quickly managing dual IC is manageable (Still Embarrassing but Manageable)
  2. Clear Hockey Tape works great for me two times around makes the diaper snug
  3. Ive had it done twice the first time It was uncomfortable for a moment but no pain the second time he was in my bladder with no felling at all. Its an embarrassing test the firet time but its worth it to make sure there is life threatening wrong.
  4. When my IC issues got to the point of I didn’t make it in time and increased urgency I decided to simply use my diaper and I have no regrets 8 years later I simply sped up the process of my loss of control but had the security feeling I knew my pants would stay dry and removed the stress of am I going to make it in time.
  5. Try crinklz.ca thats where I bought my last hulk order last year they list company's in the US and they may ship direct but not sure my order arrived quickly (GTA area just out side of Toronto)
  6. It sound like you are on a similar path I started with 8 years ago, unexplained damp underwear (Thought it was sweat at first) then wet enough to wick through my pants I started to wear real fit for men but had to upgrade to tapped diapers slowly increasing capacity (Thickness) to my current diaper of choice (Betterdry or the Aquanauts version for a fun diaper. Recommend talking to your Doctor and getting your self checked out and maybe see an urologist to get the inside of your bladder checked out and hopefully there is something that can be done I chose diapers 24/7 over the recommended meds my urologists recommended as the side effects are a no go for me.
  7. Im close to $300 per month as well incontinence is not cheap to manage with premium diapers you can trust.
  8. Sorry to hear you are dealing with a bladder issue at a young age, unfortunately bladder control issues can and do increase in retention loss as time passes. Have you seen an urologist as ic issues are caused by an underlying condition some life threatening so getting checked out is a must. Wearing a premium diaper does make managing incontinence issues easier as you can trust the diaper to keep your pants dry, diapers like Incontrol hybrid have reusable tapes (similar to velcro) so you can unfasten the diaper to use the washroom if you make it in time and then you can reuse the dry diaper. Wearing diapers is embarrassing st first but it’s something you get use to and all the stress disappears of what if some one notices goes away. For now wear a premium diaper you can trust to keep your pants dry until you can see an urologist to get checked out as they may be able to quickly out the root cause and reverse your control loss. If you find there is nothing that can be done to restore your control remember you are not alone in dealing with bladder issues and we are all here to help and support each other, and worst case being diaper dependent does not change your daily life all that much for the most part. Hopefully you can get and urologist appointment quickly
  9. Wearing diapers 24/7 probably accelerated my control loss but I have no regrets as it was more stressful trying and failing to make it to the bathroom in time. Would i prefer not to need to wear yes hut I ok with being diapered 24/7 as after & plus years diapers are now apart of my life and I have learned to appreciate being diapered especially when bathrooms are not readily available
  10. Definitely take a bag with you I use a small sling bag that will hold 2 Betterdry diapers and a pack of wipes or 3 diapers but its a tight squeeze:) just leave the bag in the car if you can and change part way through the day so you start the reception in a dry diaper this should get you through the reception if you are using a premium diaper like Betterdry or Megamax . The most important thing is to have fun and relax
  11. I was 52 when my Bladder issues put me back in diapers 24/7 its been 7 years now but I am closing in on year 8.
  12. I gave up trying to make it to the bathroom to pee years ago and have no regrets loosing my remaining control as I rarely made it intime any ways so why stress about it. I wear Betterdry or Crinklz diapers and they have proven to be a diaper I can trust.
  13. IM in just a diaper 99% of the time when at home, only getting dressed of some in comes over or I need to answer the door its just more comfortable being in just a diaper so why get dressed.
  14. We live in an apt so garbage is a non issue, I simply make sure my bag is never 100% full so it fits in the garbage chute, one thing is forsure my bag never has a problem getting down the chute. The last week and a half both my wife and I have been dealing with covid so my sister in-law has been dropping of dinner or breakfast a few times a week and she has been nice enough to get rid of out trash including my used diapers she’s always surprised how heavy the bag is from` the bathroom but she knows I. diapered 24/7 so theres no issues
  15. Ive had a few bowel accidents while out in public, I head to the closes bathroom to cleanup and change.
  16. I simply bag my own diapers and take the trash can my self, its a none issue after 7 years
  17. As you adapt to being diapered 24/7 and get use to peeing in your diaper alot of times your simply stop getting the feeling you need to pee and your bladder just releases, some times I only notice im peeing is when I feel my diaper expanding and I no longer get the feeling I need to pee as my bladder releases on its own. My latest urologist test when they reverse fill the bladder I felt the tingle my bladder was full but that happened later then it should have.
  18. All my family and close friends know im IC and wear 24/7 makes it much easier to deal with when there no need to hide the fact IM diapered and no one questions why zi need to take a back pack with me to the bathroom.
  19. Peeing infront of people becomes a non issue after a while its just something you get use to when you deal with diapers and IC issues. If you wear a diaper you can trust and pull pants as a just incase no one will notice as long as you don't react to the accident just let it happen snd carry on with your conversation or your task at hand.
  20. When my IC issues fist started I would change right away now I change after 6 hours or when my diaper feels like its getting saturated, Im in a dry diaper for a very short time and its just to expensive to change every time you wet.
  21. Its amazing how we go from scared to its a not a big deal when dealing with diapers in public.
  22. I find taped diapers are a better choice for several reasons They fit better tall leak guards more absorbent and way easier to change when out and about I started with pullups when my Ic issue first started but quickly changed to taped diapers
  23. For me I like the extra absorbency of the full Betterdry or Crinklz diaper 24/7 over a thiner version, no one has ever noticed my diapered butt and I just feel more secure in a thicker diaper I can trust.
  24. Normally it’s Betterdry but stock was an issue so its Crinklz Aquanauts for the next 8 months or so Im long passed the worry of some one noticing my diaper and who says we cant wear a fun diaper for a medical issue.
