  1. If I haven't been online much in the past couple of weeks, it's only because I broke my leg in a freak accident 2 weeks ago. Will elaborate when I have time--right now I'm waiting for the

  2. Merry Christmas to all those here who celebrate it. Tell me, Christine, did you add any new dolls to your collection?

  3. Question--I know using bleach on cloth diapers is not usually recommended, but would it be OK if it's a non-chlorine bleach? My diapers are beginning to look a bit...well,

Go to fetware dot com & consult the "Product Care" section. They have extensive information for exactly these kinds of questions

No, I don't mean anything like a nursery, though that would be nice. I mean like a cloth diaper service, a service that will either supply you with freshly laundered diapers once or twice a week, or at the very least wash ones that you provide.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about--the "diaper cleaner" segment of this program: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7hAyCZokJE. I wish there were an online list of places like that, that wash diapers for both adults and babies.

      Apache Raccoon

I can see how that might be a good service

  5. My new Rearz cloth diapers came yesterday, and I wore one of the two to bed last night. They handled several wettings with minimal leakage. A more detailed review will come once I wash them a few times.

  6. Well, after putting it off forever, I'll finally be getting two new twill diapers, courtesy of ebay.

  7. Pardon me if I seemed to just disappear, I'm just finding the site to be frustrating at times, and chose not to deal with it for a while. I'd be in the middle of a post, and site would inexplicably go down, for instance. It was just too maddening.

I'm right there with you. My participation with this site has decreased 10 fold since the "update". Everything is more confusing, posting has become more difficult, and my desire to participate has come to a halt.

Worse--and I realize DD is working on this--if I click on "New Content" to check on updates to topic I've already posted to, I find myself waiting as the site hangs...and hangs...and hangs. It used to be so easy to look that stuff up. Now I'm lucky if the page will load sometime that day.

  8. Where have you gone, Toddy? Taking a summer break? When will we see another podcast?

I know, that's a lot of questions, but it seemed like you disappeared.

Babykins rubber panties (over the Gary snap-one's) keep mine up pretty well

  10. Just read that among the new additions to Caitlyn Jenner's wardrobe is--wait for it--a tiara. Christine, she's one of us! =)

Only ONE? Not really. Look in my About me or Gallery http://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?/gallery/album/2813-christine39s-tiaras/ Tiaras are not just part of my wardrobe. They were my second or third girlish attribute, the first being my attachment to dolls and the other, from about the same time, being my first name. As such, they are part of who I am as a girl

  11. Finally, I have a wheelchair with a decent incontinence cover. No longer do I have to worry about soaking the seat.

That's great, little stuff like that always gets me. I actually just got plastic pants a few months back to make leaks less likely. Where did you get it from?

    4. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

I got it through my local med-supply store. About time--I'd been requesting one for years.

  12. Today's a serious "baby" day--paci AND bunny. After the day I had yesterday, I earned this....

  13. Well, I broke down and got a bottle within two days after my previous post. So far, so good--I hide it in the same place as my pacifiers, and no one's found it. If they do, maybe I can tell them it's so I can drink water in bed without choking? (It's true, as I choke easily).

    1. Dill_Pickle

      Dill_Pickle

Hey girl, I had an aluminum bottle with a flip-nozzle on it when I first got my CPAP.

Drinking in bed isn't so crazy, but it does lead (for me) to waking up a couple of times to deal with the consequences.

    2. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

Well, I like to keep water handy, because I usually wake up with a dry throat from sleeping with my mouth open (at least when my pacifier drops out). I suppose I could use a more conventional flask like yours, but a baby bottle is a bit more fun. =

  14. I tried to get a baby bottle today, but just couldn't. I don't know why I'm still afraid, when several of my home health care aides know about my pacifiers. I pretty much hate myself right now.

I've occasionally entertained the idea of coming out to everyone as an AB, but I don't want history to repeat itself. I told my home-health agency about me in the nineties, which backfired. They were so creeped out they didn't want me as a client after that. Of course, I was also transitioning male to female at the time, which didn't help. The two together were a bit high on their "weird" scale.

    3. diaperwearntigger

      diaperwearntigger

Gotcha. Do they live with you 24/7? It really is no different from anyone else living with someone else who doesn't know and having to hide things. Granted I don't know your full situation, so its really hard to give any advice.

    4. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

No, they don't live with me--they're here only an hour a day. But since they do the dishes for me and various light housekeeping, they do open my cabinets and drawers quite a bit. Consequently, I don't have very many hiding places that they never look through.

  15. Feeling really yucky right now. I think it might be the bronchitis I get on an average of twice a year.

    1. Little BabyDoll Christine

      Little BabyDoll Christine

I am sorry to hear that. Get well soon

  16. A happy 2015, everybody. If you're expecting me to dress up as the Baby New Year, think again....

  17. Happy Holidays. one and all. May your days be merry and diapered....

  18. AAACK! A home-health aide who previously didn't know about my pacifiers caught me with one in my mouth this morning. X( Strangely, she didn't react at all. Maybe she knew more than I thought she did all this time.

      Same issue, different person....

    3. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

Unlike the first person I spoke of, I don't think this person made the leap to my being an AB, or indeed knows such people exist. Should she ask, I'll probably fall back on my "therapeutic reasons" excuse.

  19. Ah, a cup of coffee and a pacifier...the best of both worlds....

    1. DLdapper

      DLdapper

Do you have one of those fancy fill-able pacifiers so you can suck on it and get coffee at the same time? :D

    2. Rachel Emily

      Rachel Emily

No, but now that you mention it, that wouldn't be a bad idea. =)

  20. I was brave enough on Halloween to let my little side show, at least a little. I dressed up as a little girl--pigtails, hair bows, denim jumper, the whole bit--and carried a Cabbage Patch dolly with me. Didn't win the costume contest, though....

Sounds just like the outfit I wore to the Halloween play party at the soft play centre.

Oooh, it seems as though I would have had more fun at your party--I love all the play equipment! Did you bring your doll too?

I did worry that someone at the party might have been kink-aware enough to get that I'm an adult LG. Maybe it's better that I chickened out of bringing my pacifier.

  21. The two newest additions to my "family" of plushies and dolls: a red-haired Cabbage Patch dolly I named Becca Marie, and a very soft brown bunny as yet unnamed. But I'm open to suggestions.

  22. One of my CNAs saw my pacifier yesterday. (Someone who, until then, didn't know about it). That in itself is not unusual, since several CNAs have seen it already. What IS weird is that she didn't comment about it.

  23. I finally succumbed--I now have a My Little Pony figure, (Applejack, in case you were wondering).

  24. To quote Charlie Brown, "AAAUGH!" I just had a flood in my diaper big enough to qualify for FEMA disaster relief....

  25. Just read an old letter to my mom, written just before she passed away. That was a mistake, since I've been crying ever since. Guess I'll be holding my stuffed tiger for quite a while....

Those should bring you tears of joy. Remembering the wonders that you mother did and the experiences you had with her. I like to honor those who have pasted by remembering how they lived, not how they died. <3

I went to my grandfathers grave a few months ago and paid my respects and noticed 2 things... no one else has been placing stones but me and I too cried because he was the only father figure I've ever had and he is truly missed
