    Generally I encourage my little one to sit still with a toy or promises of a treat, usually a bottle, if she is good and let's me manipulate her arms/legs whatever way is easiest to get whatever she's wearing on or off.

    If there's single restrooms we'll go in there and do a change standing up, or if I know she'll need a change after a shopping trip we'll park further down the line at the parking lot so she can just lay in the back seat with the car door open it gives most privacy.
