I can relate to almost always putting on a better face than how I feel, although for me the pain is physical, the mechanic involved is similar. When I am just at the end of my rope, I also kinda get younger, but more like a toddler instead of the kid I normally am and I just retreat to my bed and the dark and ball up. I hope too that you can find a special friend who can relate to you in the way you need. *hugs*

I've read over and over again in the newspaper that so and so was had a mental condition, or that they were seen staggering, and many other descriptive statements. So I kinda find that hard to believe. I can actually remember one time probably last year where cops tasered ab autistic person playing with two toys (of which neither was anything close to a weapon), the officer claimed the person was armed.... I have family in the police, and so I can also tell you that they are the absolute last kind of person I would ever rely to act in a person's good interests. Their sense of morality becomes VERY twisted over time and you get lots of sick groupthinking going on, and acceptance of cruelty because they have experienced it from people they are trying to arrest. It's not that they are bad people, but ok, it does attract some pretty bad people...but I mean they are not all bad...just...corrupted. Maybe you think, oh I am nothing like the person mentioned in the OP. I could never be arrested or harassed by the police because I am much more subtle than that person. Or I am much more careful... Do you forget the ways that police used to commonly raid gay bars without cause in the USA and beat the people inside? Do you forget the black civil rights protests and how the police responded to them just a few decades ago? The police do not have a earned reputation in this country of protecting minorities and guess what, people who are adults who wear diapers are a minority at least in the US and probably in every country in the world.

But the OP didn't mention any of those things...

What actually scares me about this is that there is not one valid reason at least listed here why the cops had a reason to harass this individual making poor choices. Sure I don't think he should have been doing that...but what about it was illegal and therefore requiring an officer's attention?

Rosalie.bent, are you the child or the parent? Or both, but with a partner and you switch? I'm kinda like Sasami from Tenchi where I do adult things like cooking (with a cute Hello Kitty apron) and cleaning for the house, but then I like also like coloring and playing with my ponies. One thing I have heard from multiple therapist or special ed people is how they are amazed at how I have not lost any of my childlike innocence or my sense of wonder about the world. I prefer the directness of children, in speach and motivation. While children still lie sometimes, they do not murder the every moments truth with their speach.

I loved that the local theatre here ean Tomboy for 2 weeks. I loved it so much, I just love films that do not feel they need to take you on a Hero's Journey to tell you a story.

I can identify with the first three things, but not so much with the 2nd three. I mean, I am a kid, I have come to slowly accept it, largely because I was incorrectly tought that I would grow up. For me the struggle has been: Trying to be an adult. Trying to think like an adult. And trying to trust adults. I must say though that for all of the difficulties it can cause me to not be able to be an adult like most people my "age", I must say that I am a most responsible child and I like to think that my personality contains much of the best of both age-worlds. Lots of the advantages that adults have over me, like with the art of deception are not things which I wish to learn and employ on the people around me. Being able to be a "normal" adult sure would be easier to make it through life, but I have learned that it sure isn't as much fun, even if both are equally stressful.

Oh! I am so happy for you! I never thought I would want to give up enough of my independance to want to have a mommy or daddy, but once I did, I found it to be really nice. I find it odd that she doesn't want you to have a onesie, but hopefully you can remedy that sometime soon. Just keep letting her know how she means the world to you and eventually you should be able to realize your onesie dream.

I kinda fall between the ages of 6-12 myself and I wear diapers too. It's ok to be a kid and still have accidents or to even just need some extra comfort that padding and textures can provide. I found the only way to be me was to just force my true self upon the world. The longer you dress your age and show everyone around you how wounderful and the fact that you are different but not dangerous, the more the world will open up to you. That all being said, you also have to be able to occasionally try to think like an errr adult (?) and manage the fears of an irrational human near you...however at least in my experience being trans is far more dicey than being a little tranny girl. Being a little girl 24/7 I think actually made my life safer. I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful time here! I am on a phone so I cannot reply to it all, but I also see no problem with a renter wanting to have items locked up. You also could buy a locking suitcase or just a soft travel case with a small lock over the zippers. These are good enough for diaper security and would attract little attention. And I agree that you should get to know the lay of the land from the blabbing of your housemates. GL!

I have not been able to find my tens unit in like 6 months *sniff* I will kinda add my own 2 cents though from using one a few times a month for like 7 years. There are soooo many kinds of wonderful orgasms which can be produced, it is almost startling. Infact, engaging a TENS unit on your clitty or penis right at the moment of orgasm with a wide pulse width, when done right can cause a 1 minute or slightly longer continuous orgasm. When it comes to trying to use the TENS to make myself potty at best I was able to spasm the sphincters or bladder and uncomfortably dribble. I also have to lend my hat to the cath with an extra slot or holes somewhere between 2 inches and 3 inches from the balloon depending on your anatomy. This makes you incon and you feel the pee dribbling through you, which REALLY simulates not being able to stop peeing wonderfully. I do hope someone can figure out how to make a TENS work for this though.

I would use some of that adhesive super Velcro used to hang up paintings and use it to keep kitty's bowl in the same place. Not sure how to get her to stop playing in the water though.

I think 40k is best by mixing Rogue Trader with 2nd ed books and rules to make a role playing game where each player starts off with 500-750 pts if units (2nd ed) and you make an evolving storyline playing with each player playing against the GM, gaining and losing units, echancing certain units, eventually teaming up some of the players and having them all fight each other after a few months of playing. The boardgame Space Hulk is a great way to get into 40k with some friends for a confined amount of money since it is a self contained game.

I got the Royal Wedding, an Equestria map and a poster with all the villans which reads "MLP: Chaos is Magic.
