  1. Bobby Dylan? If we're talking about the same artist that I've known since before he made it 'big time,' he has always been known as Bob Dylan, never "Bobby." Side note; Many of you will never experience the Bob Dylan stuff broadcast on "underground" (FM,) radio back in the mid-to late 1960's. I suppose that now w/things like youtube and others, one could find them, but nothing beats having been there in the first place.

No, and don't even attempt to call me a troll! I've been lurking here for many, many years, long before you joined. I finally joined to be able to talk w/like minded friends. I'm from the generation where spelling, grammar, capitalization, and proper sentence structure were 'enforced.' My posts and suggested corrections are meant to help people who, with today's education systems, seem to be mildly to severely lacking in proper English skills. Ie; the other day when someone repeatedly used "isle" when the correct word is "Aisle." That was a 'suggestion,' NOT a "grammar/spelling police" post. If you think that is trolling, that's your problem, not mine. I will continue trying to help! Thank you! My point exactly!
  3. Likewise, my family has instructions to remove valuables they know about and the "burn box" is the rest of the house. (Hey, it's Detroit, another burned out place is nothing. ) At my age, I'm sure some of the family already knows or has an idea of my lifestyle, so most of it won't come as a surprise to them. I'm a widower, so I don't currently have a spouse or Significant Other to "cover" for me. That's not a bad idea. My family already has instructions on how to notify all my 'normal' forums, facebooks, family & friends, but I never thought about the "oddball" ones. I just figured if I disappear, no big deal, but since I have become active here and formed some friendships, I'll have to re-think that option. (As I've said before, I've lurked here for many, many years, but just recently joined, [or re-joined since I can't remember my name or password from 10+ yrs ago. ])
  4. If you say so. From my limited knowledge of French, there seems to be more and/or a different translation. (?) What we need is for someone to re-do it w/subtitles.
  5. Have to say "Ditto" or "+1" on that!

Welcome to both of you! Please remember this is a MESSAGE board, NOT a text board! Please use proper words, capitalization, sentences, and your "preview post" button along with the spelling/grammar checkers built into almost all browsers.
  7. People of Wal-Mart.com, link, is a site where photos of all the 'odd' customers are posted. Well, a photo from our site finally made it here.
  8. Congrats, Daily Di! I never looked at having to work to make car payments as an incentive, it was more to feed, clothe and shelter my family. Actually, since 1965, I have only financed three vehicles, the dozens of others I have & have had were all paid for in cash, including my current ($20,000 used,) vehicle that I purchased the morning of 9-11-01. Your "GM guy" appears to be very anti union. Last I saw, it was way less than that. Since neither of us has documented proof, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
  9. I just saw this post. It sounds like you are somewhat new to message boards. Most experienced users know to NEVER, EVER post a telephone number or email addy on an open forum! Put them in 'your' profile so only registered and logged in users can see them. (Or say "PM me for them.") Several reasons; search bots can read, capture, and then generate spam. Anyone in the world can view posts as this is an 'open' forum. I was able to search for your area code, put in your number to several search engines, and for $.99 if I bought something else, to straight $4.99 if I didn't on one site, to $9.99-14.99 on other sites, they guarantee names, addresses, and other info, even for unlisted and cells, or they refund your money. Point is, especially on this site, is you should remove what I've 'X'd' above. Funny story; on another board a guy w/stuff for sale posted his land line, a simple search gave me his address & maps to it. When I pointed this out to him, and very jokingly w/lots of smileys, asked him when he would not be home, (implying I would "visit" his garage & 'borrow' the items. ) Instead of thanking me, he got bent out of shape & complained to the mods that I was saying I was going to make an 8hr round trip to steal his stuff. At least he did pull down the number.
  10. Since this thread was bumped yesterday, I'm curious. Did any of the original posters ever get together and how'd it go?
  11. Welcome! And Hopefully, you will learn a "thing" or two. ;ol
  12. I wish I could say something positive or uplifting, but I'm not very good at making those kind of sentimental posts. All I can say is I wish you the best. I'm pretty sure I have cancer too, but waiting on test results. Lost both of my parents in the last two years due to multiple cancers. Again, I feel for you and wish you the best. P.S. I'm a cat person and I sympathize with you on having to "put down" an animal friend, it's a very tough situation.
  13. Hehe, I know sever fisher people that are often well diapered for several reasons. Here in the Det area, there are not that many lake/riverside johns. If one "ties up" in Canada, to use the can, grab a bite to eat, or anything else, there is a gigantic hassle w/both Cdn & US customs & Immigration to go through because one "touched" a foreign land. My current boat has a head, but my previous 'runabout' didn't. We had to make do w/a coffee can or jump in the water, take a leak, then re-board.
  14. Drnkrdnck, I feel for you, especially on treatments not working. I lost my mother four days before her 86th birthday in Aug '09 from fast moving cancer and my dad this past March, at 89 1/2, from prostate & colorectal cancers. Be cool, we will both get through our grief and personal problems. If I could, hugs & kisses, we are strong!
  15. Wow, a thread bumped by the OP with new info, great!!! In case anyone's missing my sarcasm, I'm poking fun at/reprimanding posters that drag up 6 month to (in one case on another forum,) 9 1/2 year old threads, just to make lame comments like "Me too, etc." Most forums have "rules" not to "Bump" old threads without it being something pertinent and/or new to the topic. Since this is my first time seeing this thread, (as an eligible poster, although I have lurked here for many years and read this thread before,) I feel I can post my experience. My late wife knew a bit about my diapers and X-dressing as we had lived together almost 5 years before marrying and she passed 6 months short of us being married 35 yrs. She wasn't that receptive to it, would not participate, but didn't mind what was "out of sight, out of mind." Worked out great all those years because I worked midnights a she worked days, so I had mornings and half afternoons to play, only having to worry about when our daughter would be home from school or summer "play dates." After we both retired, me 1-2002 & her 6-2002, she took her alcoholism seriously to the point of "losing control." I finally talked her into wearing pull ups all the time. She finally agreed after years of wet beds and other incidents. (And boy, do I have some doozies of her "incidents' but will let them lay to maintain some form of her dignity. One New Years' eve we were in our favorite hangout and she looked at me, gave a grunt, and suddenly, uncontrollably, she filled her diaper from both ends. She smiled, I smiled back, but of course nothing was said as we were in a public restaurant. I wish I could have asked her how it felt, but she was too impossibly drunk to converse with for the next month & a half until she passed.
  16. That's not the way it came across. You implied that I was "publicly advertising" my diapers, which, as I said, I do not.
  17. Hehe, swap Metro for Detroit City Airport, same distance, and you've got my approximate location.
  18. Huh? Where did you get that idea? My diapers are well hidden when out & about. At home is a different story. I was commenting on today's fashions of wearing "brand name" (Boca, Roka, Ambercrombie, etc,) clothes, paying top dollar for them, and all one is doing is paying two to ten times the value of a "plain" item to advertise some company showing they can afford it vs the "old" days when companies would send free gear for only the cost of postage.
  19. Same here, I will NOT pay to advertise for someone else. It almost makes me sick to see people wearing "brand name" T's, jackets, sweats, etc and what they must have paid to "show off." I'm old enough to remember when "they" paid "us" to wear their ads. My area was mostly cars & hot rod shops. They would send T's & other gear for free, with only a dollar or two for shipping.
  20. Harsh, yes, but I fully agree with your whole post. As someone said above, he had .19+, more than twice the legal limit. Stupid & Jackassed! (I've never seen any of the movies or TV shows.)
  21. Agreed! "Diaper Mom" is a 58 yr old male "diaper lover," yet is worried about his/her son's activities? This is "Diaper mom's" first post, so I will take with a grain of salt until s/he posts more.
  22. Macky, I don't know what to say as you are talking somewhat cryptically, especially the "I'm considering some very counterproductive coping skills..." bit. You have friends here. Talk it out and don't do anything drastic.
  23. Love Weird Al's parodies and like most of Lady Ga Ga's stuff, so that's a perfect combination. lol
