This weekend was spent at a friends house with their two kids, one of whom is 15 months old. This baby absolutely cries immediately after messing his diaper. Which seems to happen a LOT!!! I said to his mother "wow, he really does not like a messy diaper, does he?" She replied "well I don't think you'd like it all that much either!" At that point I did not know what to do...my wife nearly spat up her coffee. So many funny retorts went through my mind, but in the end all I could muster was--"yeah, probably not."

True, we are all around. For me it is not any sort of mother issue directly, we have a great relationship. As far as I can tell, to me the diaper is a sign of being loved and being the center of attention or focus. I was tt'ed around the time my younger sister was born, and have probably wanted the attention back ever since. She (sister) and I don't see eye to eye, but I think that somehow deep within my psyche, it is due to events around my toilet training. I don't know many folks into various kinks so I can't say if we do or do not have more issues than the average kinkster, but I have accepted this part of me, and it is fun, and hurts no one, so why not! Back to the original question, I don't think about being babied by every woman I am attracted to, but a certain subset have some sort of quality about them that makes that thought go through my mind. Especially when they are busy with their own baby and do or say something that makes me take notice.

Actually, you helped me to open up to my then girlfriend (now wife) about diapers, and I will always remember that. That was back in 1996 or so via a letter and column you wrote. Very interesting post, mean_mommy. I always have a tough time with answering the AB or DL question, as I am more a DL than AB, but my interests revolve around being forced into a baby role, either by being trapped through a circumstance, or by simply tricked. I don't have the desire to be a baby full time, nor be incontinent when not diapered. I enjoy wearing and using diapers in my own space, but when I am not in control it is a much different issue, very conscious of wearing them, and how it might appear. Flipping it around, I am constantly amazed at the variety of people one meets, and the idea that someone really finds it erotic to play the role mean_mommy enjoys is neat. I understand that probably as little as she might understand someone who wants to be a baby 24/7. This is really an amazing thing about how all of us are wired in such a similar manner, yet with significant differences.

I greatly prefer cloth, for many reasons, absorbency and bulk primarily. Plus they are totally infinitely adjustable, as opposed to the tapes on disposables. Looking at all the previous wearers who chose cloth, I seem to be the youngest at 38, so there must be something to the theory of liking what you wore as a chronological baby. To me, the only real advantage of disposables is the smell.

Welcome to the site, look forward to hearing some of your experiences with using cloth on a daily basis. Nice to have another diapered couple "on board" cheers kirababy
