  1. My everyday wear is Abri San #7 pads or Tena Day Plus pads.
  2. The smell of the original Attends......
  3. Congrats on your wedding gig going well.
  4. I'm currently using the Tena Day Plus pads and have used the Night Super also. They work well for moderate leakage. The night time pads are good if you flood. I use these pads with Adidas athletic stretch underwear and have zero issues with the pads shifting around.
  5. I agree with you about the Lincoln comfort. The company I work for just partnered with Lincoln for a sponsorship. I got a 2012 MKZ to drive. I was driving a Honda Civic. The MKZ is extremely comfortable! On a long trip it eats up the road and it'll make a 4 hour drive seem like 2. The Honda was a GREAT car! Great mileage, great look, very refined. The Lincoln doesn't have those refinements. There are sharp edges under the hood, the steering wheel doesn't feel as good in my hand, the knobs, handles, and switches feel cheap. It's just not as refined. And for a car that's equal in price to an Acura or Lexus, it should be equally as refined. Kia makes some things I like, but I've never owned one.
  6. Maybe these numbers are unusual, but.... Of the six people at Thanksgiving dinner, five of us deal with incontinence in some form. The three women all suffer from stress incontinence, with one of them having some nerve damage. (ages 50, 53, and 71) One of the guys had prostate cancer and deals with the side effects from surgery.(70) And then myself (48) with nerve damage from a tumor causing spinal cord damage. (added the ages just to show it's not only an old people's issue) Just an observation. But it did make me wonder how many families have multiple members who deal with incontinence?
  7. Adam, try the Dry 24/7s in medium. I'm was at that same point too a while back. The mediums might be just what you need.
  8. THIS. I was not surprised that within just a couple responses this thread was jumped on. Quit moderating the heck out of everything and let people talk. We're different in our own way or we wouldn't be visiting this site anyway. Nobody is naming names and it's not about kids so why worry about it. FWIW, when I first found this site I was dropping in a couple times per day. Now I don't for the exact reasons stated above.
  9. I'm in St Charles.
  10. Drink a lot of water. Get out and get some good exercise and some fresh air, especially in the earlier part of the day, not before bed. NO caffiene, not even decaf coffee. Eat as healthy as you can, lots of good veggies. Get some good stuff going into your body. As far as the addiction part goes, be careful not to jump to another addiction. Find some positive hobbies you like, something with you wife, and something on your own. That's all I got.
  11. Just wondering who here is using pad and stretchy pants to manage their incontinence? I've been using the Tena Day Plus pads for a while and like them pretty well. Always looking for a better option though.
  12. Any cyclists here wear while riding? If so what brand/style do you prefer? I'm looking for something that will hold together. Doesn't matter how thick or thin, the bulge is going to show some under the cycling pants anyway. I've checked the archives and it seems most posts on this are pretty old. There's quite a few new items out since the last time it was discussed.
  13. Focus on getting well. Without that, the rest doesn't matter. I've been in your shoes on all of those, and a couple at the same time, but not all. You've got to just worry about your health. It's the most important aspect of getting through the cancer stuff. And looking long term you'll be fine, have fond memories of your pet, be out from under a mortgage, and possibly be back with the wife or with someone else who wouldn't want to bail out in your time of need. Best of luck to you with all of it. Take it one day at a time. It'll work out if you let it.
  14. I think you hit the nail on the head!!!! It scares me that so much production of sellable and needed products has left this country.
  15. And you walked 5 miles to school every day up hill, both ways... right. The stressors are different, but they are very real. It seems a little arrogant to call what some people find as stress "small things".
  16. Nut up and go ask. It's no big deal.
  17. That's your opinion, but it doesn't mean it's fact. What people enjoy is up to them. Just because you or I aren't an exhibitionist doesn't mean we get to dictate what is right, and what someone should or shouldn't do. That's not much different than saying two gay people shouldn't kiss in public because it might offend someone who's anti gay. I wear for medical reasons first, but I don't care what an AB or DL does. It doesn't affect me one way or another. Also, I do home repairs on the side and am constantly working under sinks, in crawl spaces, up above my head, and lots of places where my pants either pull down some in the back or my shirt pulls up. If I went around constantly worrying about who sees what I couldn't get my job done. We really should not worry about this kind of stuff so much and just kind of embrace what other people like so much. As long as it doesn't involve kids or violence, so what. Live and let live.
  18. Yes. Get out and enjoy yourself and get some fishing done. Only thing to remember is how fast waders fill up is you happen to slip and fall under. Make sure you can lose the waders fast if that would happen. I'm headed out camping next week and plan on doing some fishing.
  19. This. I have no trouble pulling off my jeans in the locker room at the gym to put on my gym shorts. (I do wear tighty whities over my diaper) I don't openly change in the locker room when I'm wet, but I don't hide anything. If I bend over and show my diaper instead of plumbers butt it's no big deal. And I don't think much of anyone would be nearly as offended by seeing the top of my diaper as they would some fat gal's thong. And if they are... get a life. God save me from the good people.
  20. Yeah, We'll see how it goes. I've been having light conversation and even flirted a little bit with her over the last year or so. She's not married, I'm sure of that.
