I wear in public most any time I'm going to be away from the house for a number of hours, unless I'm around friends or parents. I also wear Disney themed clothes and my mom (real mom) bought me a teddy bear sweatshirt. Parts of my little side are already known to others and it's totally accepted, but the AB stuff, diapers, paci's... are private. If it were more socially acceptable I'd probably wear 24/7 and use my paci anywhere I felt like it.

Vancouver now has a AB/DL/Littles and Ageplayers munch starting Thursday March 24th at 7pm. We'll be meeting at the White Spot right by Gilmore Skytrain Station Google map link, right at the the Vancouver/Burnaby border. We plan on having the munch on the 4th Thursday of each month. I don't have any pics of me on fetlife, I use the same avatar as I use here. I don't use either place for "hooking up" so people I don't know don't need to see a picture of me. The people I put on my friends list there are mostly people that I know IRL, there are a few that I've friended because I find them interesting and like to converse with them, I usually default to only friending people I've met though. *huggles* Michelle

Daddy, a few friends and I want to do survival training soon. One of my dreams is to have a float plane some day so we can drop into a lake in the middle of nowhere for a while and just enjoy nature and dissapear.

I had a similar situation when I was your age, I'm bisexual and my parents were with "God" when I told them. Both of them reacted very badly to the point where being in the same room was very very unpleasant. My dad was the worst, my mom not as bad, but even she had comments every so often that were pretty bad. Before this we talked all the time, I drove the 50 miles usually once a week or 2 to visit them. After their reactions I gave them time, but it didn't seem to be doing any good. I cut off contact, basically said that it was my life and if they wanted to be a part of it that they would need to respect me and my life. I think it really hit home after about 6 months of very minimal contact. My mom came around first and eventually told my dad that he was being an asshole to me. We started communicating again but really, it took another 2 years for things to get normal again. They needed time to work through their shit, just like it takes time for us to work up the courage to accept ourselves. This all happened 10 years ago and now I live next door to my parents and see them quite often and we have a great relationship. It took work on both sides, mom no longer thinks of herself as a christian, her book of answers didn't have the answer. There's no fixing us because we're not broken. I hope you and your parents find their way. I made the decision for myself during that part of my life that having my parents in my life wasn't essential if they were going to continue to be as toxic to me as they were being. It was a really, really, really difficult decision that I wouldn't wish on anyone, but it was something I had to do, my parents eventually realized that they would rather have me in their life than not. *huggles* Michelle
