  1. Definitely thick terry cloth - what I was in for the first 3 years, and have never stopped! The plastic pants make it complete - white, strong elastics and noisy!!
  2. Hi.... welcome to another Brit! LoL... This is a great site, very supportive. Hope you enjoy! Simba.

    Poll 1: Underpants

During the day?? Only have 'adult' underwear at work - at home evenings and all weekend it's cloth nappies/plastic pants! Simba
  4. Simba

    Hello

Welcome to the site! Hope you enjoy your time here and make good friends. I know I have!! Simba
  5. Nearly always terry nappies and plastic pants: one thick overnight with two baby nappies folded inside as soakers, and two thinner nappies with one soaker during daytimes. If I have to wear disposables (which I avoid if possible) it's 4 or 5 in a 24-hour period, usually with a mid-night change due to leaks. Simba
  6. From an oldie.... I go along with pipsqueak and tigger: yeah, no wonder! I have met several lovely ladies from chat rooms, online and in person. Even lived with one for 3 years - but she couldn't accept me in nappies so we parted. No other romance has come, but several superb friendships have come along - including one delightful lady who loves to wear nappies herself. Just nothing 'clicked'... I love female company of any age as friends, and one day something more will happen! My tuppence worth of advice would be: be positive, look for the good things in a girl and be true to yourself. Online can also be just as good as at a party or in the office. You never can tell. The joys of life Simba
  7. I could be wrong on this since I mostly use cloth nappies. - but didn't Pampers do 'Goodnights' pullups? ages 4-7, 7-10 and 10 - 15? Or are these the Huggies ones as well? Hope you find what you're looking for! Simba
  8. Changing nappies/diapers is a very personal and intimate action, and involves 'sexual' contact, even just by cleaning/powdering. My response is related to the non-consensual side of the discussion.... I may be an old fashioned lion, but to me this is still 'cheating' even if sexual relations did not occur. It aso makes no difference if one is married and the other is not. I would be most upset if my s/o (if I had one) was changed, seen or 'touched' by another. Likewise they would have every right to feel aggrieved if I went somewhere else for this. It is simply not fair. If all parties involved know and agree then that is their affair. I know that I couldn't agree... and I wouldn't ask a s/o to accept my being changed/powdered so intimately by another, 'pro' mum or not. I just wouldn't do it. My $0.02 worth....... Simba
  9. Yeah I go along with John here.... how come the original post got changed? Now the whole thread becomes nonsense This post should have been left as is and moved to the 'off topic' forum. It would have been an ideal subject for debate...... No wonder some get p***ed off! Simba
  10. Welcome Michelle from over the pond! (though with family in BC) You like hugs??? Well don't be surprised if you get pounced on and hugged in the room. I don't bite, honest! Simba.
  11. Cloth -v- disposables argument does of necessity raise it's head here, Mo, even though you had not intended it! No problem, a good discussion is always welcome. I do however have to fall behind Tigger here... the 'perfect disposable for everyone' is a myth. It is to do with personal preference, body shape, gender, to name but a couple. You can only speak for yourself. Define 'perfect'.... you can't. Simple example (best for lions really)... the disposables I wear are either Kendall Lille Supreme maxi or Abena x-plus and are 'perfect' for me when I need one. AAArrrgh I hear others cry - Kendall Lille leak and are the biggest load of rubbish out.... so what to me is the perfect disposable, my 'holy grail', for another it is an example of purgatory! Nuff sed! Simba
  12. Indeed... what a dangerous thread. ...and one in which I will not get involved for many reasons. I have a question though... why is this in the forum about discussion of our lifestyle? What has it got to do with diapers, the wearing of, wetting of and whatever else for which they may be used? I hope the admins delete or move this thread... for the sake of the boards and everyone's sanity. Simba
  13. I hope the boards are open to anyone and all equally welcome - AB, DL (or NL in UK), 'Parents', Incontinents, 'curious' or non-wearers alike. For whatever reason anyone is here, the only 'ground rule' as I understand it is respect for others whatever their feelings, orientation, habit, opinion or reason. I have met so many great folks on here, and would hate to lose them...... ...or am I wrong? Simba.
  14. LoL... this is the old cloth-v-disposable argument, and for each of us the preference is our own! LoL I was a cloth-and-plastic-pants baby, and I do remember one occasion very vividly (aged 2 1/2 I think) where I was firmly put in a terry nappy and pants as a toddler who was dry by day but wet by night. I also remember being put back in a nappy for wetting the bed (I was 5), along with a firm smack. So yes I prefer terry nappies and plastic pants because I have always worn them from childhood. Disposables are convenient, and they have to be plastic backed and very thick to do anything for me. I prefer a disposable nappy to not having one at all!! Simba
  15. I go along with Daily Di on this one. I always wear cloth at home, and when out and about but only if I know it's not that long before I'm home and can change. Otherwise it's disposables - Lille Supremes maxi or Abena x-plus when I'm away for longer! Simba
  16. Giving cloth nappies/diapers 6 months must be worst case scenario. I have 10 terry squares and 12 inserts. Wash every other day. Plastic pants go on a twice a week cycle... 6 cloth nappies are over 2 years old, 4 are over 3years old. Inserts are all 2+years old. Plastic pants are over a year old. All work well, and I'm saving money hand over fist on these. Definitely recommend cloth for anyone. Simba
  17. It's great that we all seem to have the same basic feelings!!! Yeah the novelty of wearing nappies has worn off as a result of wearing whenever I want regardless of life's ups and downs - stress, loneliness, peace, happiness, etc. Finding such good friends and lovely people on this site over the past few years has enabled me to accept within myself that despite being in nappies whenever I can, I am prefectly sane, rational and a normal sort of guy (I hate that word 'normal' 'cos who/what decides on who/what is normal??). Varying the nappy shape, style, thickness, 'tightness' and different plastic pants all help keep things fun! Cloth nappies are so versatile from this point of view... but for me they are my underwear whenever I can. Likewise I vary my underwear when not in a nappy at school or somewhere like that (kids pick up on anything like well-padded bums!!!) - I may wear satin panties, or cotton thongs, or plastic pants over boxers, etc... always fun!! Always experimenting and enjoying whatever I want to wear!!! Any lifetime habit is impossible to break - and indeed why should I break this lovely habit of wearing nappies every night and many daytimes? It harms noone, affects noone else... Simba

    Am I Weird?

No, not weird at all, not in any way. Sexual stimulation/attraction is about smell much of the time anyway, so whether it's rubber, plastic, powder, natural body odours of any sort... whatever. You are no different to any other member of the species - we all have different likes/dislikes/attractions. I like the smell of powder, plastic pants and fresh wind/sun dried cloth nappies too.... but most of all when they are all tightly fitted on me!!!! Simba
  19. Need I say more??? Why? I lived in Africa near to lions for many years and grew to love them... they are also becoming endangered species! I also love the Lion King.... Simba
  20. Society has a lot to answer for in our case! The stigma of a 'dry bed', 'out of nappies quickly', 'don't drink after supper to get a good night's sleep' and all that nonsense is literally just that... NONSENSE!!!! Over recent years I have really valued a good night's sleep without getting up at least twice. After a disastrous relationship and living alone for the past 4+ years I now have the freedom to wear nappies every night and use them, and what bliss. My mattress is protected with a PVC sheet, I wear thick terry nappies and plastic pants - and I love every minute of it. My sleep is brilliant, only semi-waking to use the nappies. The freedom to drink when I'm thirsty, no matter what the time is, the freedom of letting my urinary system keep 'flushed' by weeing when the system 'says so' rather than holding it in until I get to a bathroom has got to be healthy. So I'm using nappies in the daytime too. Do I care what doctors and society says? I just don't flaunt it! Good topic, Baby Mommy Simba
  21. The first time I went out with a disposable nappy under my trousers in public I was paranoid that everyone was looking at me and my nappy. Not so. As has been said 99% of the people really don't look, know, notice or care about others. Confidence grew, and now I wear thinner terry nappies and plastic pants at all times out and about in public, and still noone knows. Neighbours and friends are different, 'cos they would notice, so I try and be discrete. No point in asking for awkward questions. But I still wear most of the time and am ready with an honest answer (or a 'none of your business' one if it's a nosey stranger). No I'm not worried at all about being in public wearing nappies. A long T-shirt or onesie does help, as do loose trousers. No point in asking for problems!!!! Simba
  22. Security, definitely, especially at night. Comfort during the day as nappies are superb underwear, and practical when out and about (I hate publuc washrooms/toilets). I wear cloth and plastic most of the time and they are the best (imho). Distraction? Like others they're only a distraction when I have wet a couple times and worried about leaks. Sometimes I am nicely distracted by enjoying what I have on, especially cloth under plastic pants, not disps! Simba

    Other Fetishes?

Oooooo... now let me see. My nappies are a way of life not a fetish since they are not sexual. However I have made a pair of tie-on plastic 'pants' which I use over a thick cloth nappy. When used properly (tie at the front, pull the front bit up between your legs and pull tight, then turn onto your front and tie again at the back) they take some getting out of and are great fun. The nappy has to be used for its intended purpose.... Similar to light bondage I suppose, but I'm not really into that. A girl in a thick nappy and pants under a short skirt gives me a zing too... not into pornography or naked displays (to me that demeans the girl and I love female company far too much for that). Likewise any 'natural' girl in a nappy (as opposed to models and posed photos) makes me feel good. I get a great feeling from wearing silk and satin panties when I'm not nappied, as well as seeing/being with a girl in similar lingerie... also leather and plastic pants. Wetlook, in water and holding a loved one close in the pool is special... I go along with Baby Mommy on that one! I can recommend wearing a nappy under a drysuit when SCUBA diving. The feeling and wetting of the nappy when 30m or 40m under water and the water pressure pushing at against you is grrrreat! :lol Simba
  24. Wow - this has to be one of the longest posts I have come across recently! But also fascinating... very introspective by clearly a very intelligent young lady. Each of us has our own reasons, whys and wherefores for liking our nappies/diapers, or being a baby in all its forms, or any stage in between. Wetting beds, humiliation, pain and the whole shooting match of childhood experiences both good and bad are different for us all. Thank you for this insight. I could post my own, but maybe better later on... unless a true interest is there. That being the case, just message me and I'll comply. There are quite a lot of similarities!!! Thank you Baby-Mommy. Simba
  25. I get those too... but I'm not incontinent. Usually when I have a dream of wetting my nappy I am! In that stage of semi-consciousness... why I can't really go to bed without my nappy on! Simba
