  1. DailyDi, If you're younger than 50, I suspect you don't remember that most plastic pants back in the 50's and early 60's came with wonderful scents: rose oil, baby scent (baby powder), etc, including the popular new vinyl smell itself.
  2. You may think your getting a good nights sleep, but if you have sleep apnea, your really not.
  3. I met him (online) a few years ago and occasionally see him. I think he lives out in California somewhere. Not sure. I don't remember what his username is, but I'll look it up and get back to you.
  4. Wow Annee, Pretty cool. Not many of us have understanding gf's or wives and I hope your therapist understands as well. No one here is shy about answering your questions, but you may have to pick the one that works best for you. Anyway, good luck. You've got a great start.
  5. willnotwill, I think that's Jenny. She's a well known model of adult diaper products in the UK. She's a real looker and seems very nice online. Despite being so open about modeling diapers and plastic panties, she's sort of the shy type.
  6. Oh, I was completely wrong. I was thinking of Stocking Stuffers at Christmas time. They'd be dandy stocking stuffers too. Of course it would be better if you had someone to give them to or to get them from.

Those panties look like the feather lights. Very nice.
  8. There were a number of manufacturers that eventually started putting vent holes in their plastic panties. One or two put flaps over them, but others just created the holes, usually 3 holes per side. Two manufacturers that I knew about that made the holes in their pants were Empire and of course Playtex. I think even Gerber did it for a while. Warner may have, I don't remember. I do remember that's where they would start ripping first. There were a lot of things manufacturers did back then that they don't do anymore. The one that I really miss is some of the pants were scented with different perfumes such as rose oil, lanolin (which I think is that soft baby oil/powder scent), and a couple of other scents. Even the plastic itself had a particular scent to it. Very aluring.
  9. Well done, Christine. I knew that they were making rubber pants around the turn of the century (1900), but didn't know how far back they went. I found an add for a pair of rubber pants in a 1908 Sears & Robuck catalog. They weren't the button kind like you found, but more of the short, bloomer style panty. Petite 100 noted that Playtex had been making other than rubber pants back in the 40's. I don't know who or when modern day plastics were discovered, but if I had my guess, I would believe it was back during WWII. The 50's, 60's, and early 70's were it's hey-day for plastic pants as far as I know. I've done a lot of research in women's journals (Better Homes & Garden, Red Book, Ladies home Journal, etc.) starting back in the early 50's. If you're near a University Library, check to see if they have kept copies of these magazines/journals. Some have archived them or put them on microfishe. Some are stored away and depending on what you want to look at, you can get the librarian to bring them in for you. When you find them, you'll spend hours going through them. You don't see adds like these anymore.
  10. I remember once, when I was 15, taking a bus to go visit my grandmother who lived about 100 miles away. Most buses stopped in small towns in between their final destination, so we made this one stop and it had only a single stop light in the center of town. As we pulled up to the light, I noticed a mother with her 3 year-old in tow. He had on a diaper and clear frosted plastic pants with a t-shirt and tennis shoes. As she lead him across in front of the bus I could see the sun shinning off of his billowy, plastic pants in the early morning sun. As the bus turned onto road leading to the highway, I tried to see he and his mother walking up the street, but I could not. An older woman sat in the seat on the other side of the isle from me. Bummer.
  11. Annee, I understand baby-pants.com, under Classic plastic pants, is coming out with the blue and pink stars type baby pants. VIP and Gary's used to make them with the soft vinyl that Gerber used, but have since quit. I don't know how close to the old style vinyl baby-pants will really be, but get a recommendation from someone who will buy a pair, before you buy any. For right now, Babykins it about as near as you can come to them.
  12. A couple of things to consider. When I told my - then - future wife, I got the sense she was concerned that it might affect our intimate relationship and that she might have to become the caregiver. When I assured her that neither of these things would happen, that seemed to take a lot of pressure off her, especially the caregiving thing. She was ok with me wearing in front of her and in fact, it became really exciting for her. It was a benefit to her to have me wear. My personal excitement of wearing, combined with my love and excitement for her, really paid off for her. It was special and she caught on, often encouraging me to wear my diapers and plastic pants whenever. Still, she never dressed or changed me. Her big concern was just that, she didn't want to change me. That was left to me. It was not a problem. Your situation may be different. Your bf may either now be ok with you wearing and willing to change you or at some point later, willing to change you. Go cautiously and see where you wind up. I'm sure you both will find some level of comfort.
  13. PEVA Plastic Pants from Babypants.com. People could hear you from across a crowded room.
  14. Get yourself some PEVA Plastic pants. Your friends will be able to hear you coming across a crowded room. Check out my review on them in "cloth diapers and panties."
  15. Most all of them are reasonably discrete. They do put their return address on the package however. I find that Comco is one of the most reasonable for what you get, but there are others that are just as reasonable: www.lifestylesemporium.com, llmedico.com, adultclothdiaper.com, plastic-pants.com, fetware.com (one of the best); etc. There are a ton of overseas places that sell excellent plastic pants. Go to your search engine and type in "plastic pants" and be amazed. If you just want cheap and it doesn't matter how functional (or for that matter, non-functional) they are, you can go to the warehouse catalogues: HarrietCarter, MilesKimball, places like that. You can get three for $10. Narrow crotch, weak elastic, tears easily, covers nothing, holds nothing, don't last long, depends on how careful you are. If they're only for looks, you're good to go. Even if you get only one pair, get something good and take care of them. Remember, you get what you pay for.
  16. Check out PEVA Plastic Pants. They're the nosiest pants I've ever owned. Order a size larger than what you normally wear. You won't be disappointed. Check out my eval on them under diapers and panties.
  17. Yes, most plastic panties, back when I was a kid and wearing them, were textured or matted more on one side (outside) than the other. Very few pants made nowadays have that. They're all buttery smooth now. Lang's plastic pants still have a matted side and you can order them with the matted side out or in, it just takes a while to get them. Gerber (VIP) used to have the matted side out and even their real vinyl baby pants, up to about the 80's were made of better vinyl (somewhat stretchy and very sturdy) than what's used today. Today they use cheaper plastics and are smooth. Gary Inc. did make pants (w/Stars) with matted plastic, but they've gone away. I'm not sure why, but they still appeal to some folks, like me, who wear plastic pants. Personal thing I guess. I see the matted, frosty pants on occasion, but there's no information about where people get them. And there were great scents back then. Lanolin, and other soft baby scents were used on the pants. They washed off in about 2-3 washings, but wow, they were wonderful for a short time. Too bad manufacturers can't add those scents again. Increase sales by at least three fold in my mind.
  18. Yeah, at this point I'd say it doesn't matter. The cat's out of the bag. Just say it's a practical joke for someone and let it go. Good luck.
  19. I've had a few strange dreams like that. I was at a fancy dress ball. One moment I'm dancing with my date dressed in my tux and the next moment, I'm in only my diaper. No one seemed to notice.
