    Hadn’t noticed this story until a couple of days ago and jumped in because I really enjoyed The Ballet Slippers. I love how you’re dropping little hints about things to come, and now it’s obvious kerry was correct about Matthew’s changes being specific to a given room. What happens when he visits daycare, I wonder? 🧐. I’m also very curious about Vincent and his connection to the marble and other aspects of the recreation center…perhaps looking for his own Fountain of Youth? Love what you’ve got going and looking forward to where you take it!

    I do love where you’re taking Daniel’s character. It’s added a layer to the story and your world building. You’re making it easier to see the main characters as more than two-dimensional…and give us someone else to care about and relate to. Nicely done.

    Yeah…I thought we were pretty much done with the institutionalized babying after the protest and firings, but apparently not. Danger around almost every corner now. Time for the Westerfields and Beth’s parents to kick their efforts into overdrive. Can’t help but think all of these “random” incidents have common roots. It’s time to eliminate the weeds at the source! 😠

    Interesting guilt trips that aren’t really guilt trips. Seems like a tough path to walk, wanting things a certain way but feeling guilty about it. Easy for me to relate to, actually.

    Knew the sister would be trouble 🙄 And like Benny, I’m interested to see what happens with Daniel. Sounds like he hates his life just enough to want everything James has…maybe with Martha? Hmmmm… Keeping the “secret” is proving difficult. What makes any of them think they can keep this up without the world finding out? Maybe Clark eventually shows up and realizes how naive he was to give this particular gift. Would be a shame, but humans are like that…they tend to want what someone else has and will often do whatever it takes to get it.

    Foreshadowing? Your twist with Martha surprised me a bit. I was not expecting her to want in on it, just that she would be a busybody and try to wreck it. I’m kind of surprised that Clark’s virus worked on Martha, since it seemed to have been tailored for Linda and her desires, which makes me think there will be some unexpected consequences in store for her.

    Love the way you’re developing these relationships, surrounding Rosie with love and friends she can count on. I keep wondering when that little purple devil will pop up again, though…I know you too well to know this warm-and-fuzzy time will last much longer.

    Highs and lows…oh my. Ollie’s reaction isn’t a great surprise. Disappointing, but not shocking given his standoffish behavior recently. Hopefully he’ll come around to appreciate Rosie for the person she is, as she is. Ceres’ declaration of love for Rosie is also no great surprise, but *sigh* sure was nice to read. Keep it coming, Princess. Love what you’re doing here ❤️💕
