Loving it. Nice to see the Outfit in the spotlight, and the mechanics of how the organization actually ran being set out in detail. Keep it coming!

Really liked this one. Hope Suzie finds some more bedwetters in the fraternities because Tom and Geri are really on to something here.

Near the end of the movie, Ben Gazzara's character is blown away by several local businessmen. When the police arrive, there are no arrests because no one saw nuttin. In 1981, McElroy was gunned down while sitting in his parked truck on the main street of Skidmore, Missouri. There were dozens of witnesses, but no one saw nuttin. No arrest has ever been made.

Terrific scene. Nice shout out to Battista's. We eat there every time we are in Vegas.

Two other good reads are John Binder's The Chicago Outfit (great photos) and William Roemer, Jr., Accardo: the Genuine Godfather. Guessing you already know the last one.

Anthony Spilotro was the Outfit's top enforcer in Las Vegas, working alongside Lefty Rosenthal (DeNiro's character). He and his brother Michael were beaten to death by the bosses in the basement of a home in Bensenville, a Chicago suburb. Their bodies were dumped in a shallow grave in a field in northwestern Indiana, which the owner quickly discovered and reported to the authorities.

Casino, with Joe Pesci perfectly cast as mob enforcer Nicky Santoro. Great, great flick.

All the moving pieces are coming nicely together. This has become a first-class thriller, which is not what one expects to find on a site like this. Well done.

Got this one. It's Dalton in the original Patrick Swayze version of Road House.

Brenda's cool, and if Cindy is paying attention she now knows how to sell ZAP in the dorms. It's the food. Chicken Kiev beats chicken fingers any day of the week!

Yea, Johnny Spagnoli is back! And Hollie continues to light up the story. Great new characters like this keep a long story fresh.
