  1. I am disabled and do not work and have not been in school for quite some time so they are out. I am incontinent due to a medical condition so I wear them 24/7 so that is at home and when I go out.
  2. Due to my medical condition(Stroke) and incontinence my diapers are free. So I don't use the fancy baby diapers. I use Depends Maximum Absorbency Diapers with tabs.
  3. Other than over night it probably has been no longer than 4 hours or so in a wet diaper.
  4. This is a great question for me since my gait and balance is bad due to the Stroke I had and if I do walk and am always holding the hand of my caregiver/Miss Jen. Most of the time though I am in my chair being pushed by her. When I do walk and in a diaper especially when it is wet I probably waddle even more than I normally do. No one really takes notice of me though because they see a noticable disability and they don't think anything of it. I even imagine people notice that I am wearing a diaper and they don't pay a bit attention to it.
  5. I started wearing them because I had to. I had a Stroke 10 years ago and became incontinent to both bowel and bladder. I have been wearing them 24/7 ever since.
  6. I became incontinent to both bowel and bladder 10 years ago due to a Stroke. I also have other complications due to the Stroke as well. At first I have to say I was not very happy that I had to become dependent 24/7 on wearing diapers as well as having a 24/7 caregiver to take care of me. As time went on I did learn to live with it and 3 years ago found out about this lifestyle. After talking it over with my caregiver and decided most of the things in the ABD world I was already living in sort of a way anyway but was just not being treated as such. So we slowly started to do things in more of a baby/toddler way and it was really fun. So now we are 3 years later and full into it and I love it and also my caregiver likes it as well. I never thought back when this started that I could have so much fun from a medical condition that changed my life so drastically, but I am.
  7. Congrats on being back in diapers full time. It is such a comfort. Being incontinent for 10 years I know the feeling. Also it is wonderful having a crib bed. I have had one since my Stroke out of safety for myself. My bed is a full size bed with protective mattress pad. with for crib like sides so I do not fall out. My balance and gait is not good since my Stroke so it is best to have the guards. I also have the pads around the top of the crib bed just in case of possible seizure activity. Those are the safety measures along with added stuffed animals and toys attached to the sides of the crib to play with and a mobile on the back of the crib. Makes for such a fun place for naps and night night time.
  8. OMG Captain Kangaroo was great.
  9. Most food I am pretty good with. Since my Stroke however I don't do well with spicy stuff but that doesn't really mean I don't like it. The yuckies though my caregiver Miss Jen usually doesn't give me except for cooked carrots and pears. She says they are good for me and she does give them to me sometimes and I get grumpy and throw a temper tantrum sometimes. I end up eating them though because she will usually start feeding them to me because she sees when I start to fidget with them and start to make more of a mess then I usual do with my food because I have terrible hand/eye coordination anyway because of my Stroke.
  10. I absolutely loved reading this. Growing up I was just potty trained as a normal toddler and really growing up never thought of wearing diapers or anything like that once I was potty trained and I believe that must have been around 3 years of age. Then 10 years ago things changed drastically in my life when I had a Stroke which left me incontinent to both bowel and bladder and other medical issues as well. This led me to have to rely on diapers 24/7. I went 7 years just wearing them being changed by my caregiver and cleaned. Then I found out about this lifestyle and since I was already somewhat living mostly like a toddler in many ways being totally taken care of. Being changed, having my food cut up, drinking from a sippy cup , help with bathing and being put to bed I thought why not just baby it up a bit and have some fun with it. So my caregiver and I talked it over and we took things slowly and now it is what it is now. I am so glad I can actually have fun with what has been given to me in a medical condition. Wearing diapers is no longer just a necessity for me but it is also fun for me. I am so glad it is fun for you as well.
  11. I love watching Peppa Pig and Little Einsteins and Curious George and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
  12. I love stuffed animals. There is so much comfort in snuggling a soft cuddly stuffed animal especially during naptime and bedtime. I love my stuffed piggy in my arms and the comfort of me sucking on my paci during my nap and night night time. I get such good sleep.
  13. Saturday Morning Cartoons Toy R Us The Snowball Truck that came around the neighborhood in the Summer
  14. You will love how soft and comfy they are and the feel of your diaper under them is wonderful as well.
  15. Mine is pretty simple. Complications from a Stroke.
  16. I am almost always sitting or laying in my diaper when I go poopy. I am incontinent so it just happens. Most of the time it ends up before being changed a bit squished to my butt because of the position I am in. I guess if I was at this place and had a mess in my diaper and was being changed and cleaned and the contents from my diaper couldn't go into the toilet then it would just have to be folded into the diaper with the wipes that cleaned me off and thrown into the trash bin. I think that would make for a much stinkier mess.
  17. Not yet, but just finished eating breakfast so it should be coming soon. Update: Poo Poo has made an entrance into my diaper. I am currently sitting on the floor playing with large sized Legos sitting in it. it feels wonderful. Miss Jen/Caregiver will probably notice soon and change me.
  18. Oh yes , I always sleep sucking on my paci. I also sleep with my stuffed animals Winnie The Pooh Bear and also a Pig. I sleep in what is a bed crib. I did this even before we adding in the baby things. It is a full sized bed , but it has raised sides to it as to so I do not roll out of it due to my mobility and balance issues, it keeps me extra safe at night. The bed now though just has toddler sheets on it now and baby/toddler things attached to it to keep me occupied while I am in it now that it didn't before. Going to bed with a dry/clean diaper is always nice but I did not wake up with one. I was very wet this morning. I have been changed but still am in my jammies and my caregiver who I will from now on refer to as Miss Jen because that is what I call her is making me pancakes for breakfast.
  19. No, I do not want to leak especially when out with my caregiver. These diapers have been great though. When I am out for an extended period of time I can fill them pretty good before I have to be changed. Now if I am out and go poo poo in it ,we find a family bathroom to change me pretty quickly because of the smell.
  20. That is actually a really great idea. I think that would work well for the wet diapers. Not so sure for the stinky ones though.
