  1. I experienced a surgical mishap, became inconsistent and got back into diapers when I was 14 years old (in 1956).
  2. Northshore Megamax is an excellent plastic-backed diaper.
  3. I buy a case of 40 whenever I’m running low.
  4. I wet my nappy last night.
  5. Not quite all my life, but for a very long time. I'm 82 years old and became incontinent as the result of a surgical mishap when I was 14 years old (in 1956). I've never been reliably dry at night since that mishap. I don't wet in my sleep every night; but if I don't wet while asleep, needing to pee wakes me up at least three times during the night. So for many years, I've worn a diaper an used it at night instead of getting up to use the bathroom. Doing that enables me to get a lot more rest and generally feel better.
  6. For me, being incontinent and needing to wear a diaper was a big impediment to the development of romantic relationships. Many people don't want to be intimate with someone who needs to use diapers.
  7. I became incontinent as a result of a surgical mishap when I was 14 years old. I wore diapers 24/7/365 for about 50 years before I retired. However, after I retired and am spending a lot of time at home in my house with 3 functioning bathrooms, I've switched to wearing a diaper only at night and when I'm away from home. Not needing to be diapered 24/7 saves a lot of money and enables me to manage my incontinence in ways that provide more freedom.
  8. Brian, why do you need authorization to get incontinence supplies?
  9. I became incontinent as the result of an unexpected side effect of surgery when I was 14 years old in 1956. So I've now been living with bladder-control issues for 68 years. Becoming incontinent as a young teenager was devastating, in fact so devastating that I contemplated suicide. So I definitely understand how some people feel that incontinence has their lives. However, fortunately, I didn't kill myself. And I came to appreciate the sensuality that diapers can provide and realized that I did not have to suffer from incontinence and could to a degree even enjoy it. Unfortunately, many people living with incontinence never get beyond the suffering stage.
  10. Just go to a medical supply store and buy what. you want. You don't ned to tell your urologist anything.
  11. My incontinence started as the result of a surgical mishap when I was 14 years old. After the surgery, I bled excessively and developed what started out as a urinary tract infection which spread throughout my body and nearly killed me. None of my doctors have been able to describe exactly how these events affected my urinary system. But I developed urge incontinence that has persisted for many years. I'm not reliably dry at night and have sudden "urges" to pee that result in daytime leakage unless I can get to a bathroom within a very few minutes.
  12. If you have only recently started to wet again after a prolonged period of being dry at night, you should consult a doctor. Starting to wet at age 19 is unusual despite a history of childhood enuresis. If something is wrong (such as a urinary tract infection), you might also start having daytime problems. Get it checked out to be on the safe side.
  13. Would this desired dependence on a diaper for sexual pleasure rule out having sexual intercourse with a partner?
  14. 'The high likelihood of wetting my pants is the reason I always wear a diaper if I'm going anywhere where I might not be able to get to a toilet quickly when the need to pee arises.
  15. If I wet without waking up, being in a diaper means that diaper gets wet but the bed stays dry. And if I wake up needing to pee, using the diaper means that I don't have to get up to go to the bathroom.
