About the Bedwetting forum

OK, I may be too literal here, I'll admit that. I'm a writer professionally and words matter to me.

That forum is subtitled "Discussion area for REAL adult bedwetters." and yet I see a large number of threads there that are obviously about those who WANT to become bedwetters. First, last and only time I will gripe about this here. Anyone else feel similarly?

Yeah, we kind of dropped the ball on that sub, should have split it with a "desires" sub like Incontinence has

I reply to questions and when they are talking about try to become a bed wetter I just reply. I was just looking on the desired to wt the bed, I don't see a form for that?

That is de rigeur around here. When the LG forum came into being it was not up for 3 days befor a bunch of boys got into it. So I decided it was all right for girls to post in the LB forum

I'm looking 👀 for a bed wetting choice that's getting used, I did find a post someone did but its old and has very little traffic on it..Thanks

i’m gonna put on my administrative hat for a second, because I have my own forum, even though it is shut down, and I sometimes post things there for my reference, and I do that to keep myself sharp because there’s a lot of different stuff that you have to do is an administrator, and if I can remember how to do that, maybe someday I will be able to use the knowledge that a game to help others like I do here on daily diapers. 

When we’re talking about a “bedwetters farm”, I’m sure that @DailyDiwouldn’t have a problem, making such a form if that’s the way everybody wanted it. The only thing is that it must be used, and while it only takes a few moments to make a forum, as administrator, I have to think of two things: is the form that you put in going to be used as much as other forms, or is it just there very under used. Remember, for each form that you make, there is a database that goes along with that. You make a database for your form boards, and inside that database is every person’s name and a whole bunch of other stuff that you can  see if you actually login and look at the information. What I’m talking about is something like PHP, my admin, which tells you everything that’s going on with your database. Every time you make a form you end up adding more to your database. MIKE has a ton of posts here and also has probably a few backups of the database because that’s important. If you don’t have a database, you don’t have foreign boards you don’t have squat. 

When we’re talking about desires, I don’t have a problem talking about that wedding within that. We know that there are people that want to be incontinent, or strive to be that way. The desires form is there for that person best because it’s called “incontinent desires“ I have no problem discussing incontinence in the forum, because I wear 24 seven anyway, and everyone knows that I am in continent and there’s no question about that. There’s people that want certain things to happen, and we talk about that too. What I try to do is help those people that are looking for that type of advice, but I’m always careful to advise that they go to talk to someone before they make a big life-changing decision. This is important, especially if you’re having medical issues and you need to use a doctor to figure out what’s going on. I’ve always learned for example, that you should always be truthful with your doctor, because he “is working for you and if you don’t , always be open and honest and upfront with your doctor. He can’t treat you the right way“

The decision remains with Mike: he could make the form if he wanted, but it’s some thing that is additional that is added to the board that also must be maintained, and I’m sure that wouldn’t be too hard, but it’s another form to be managed and that’s all I’m trying to say here. I love doing the stuff that MIKE does too, because it keeps my mind sharp people think I am crazy for having five domains, and sometimes I don’t use it to the extent that I should, but I always try to keep myself sharp and in the next two or three weeks I probably will spend time doing just that keeping my stuff updated. I have updated the last time and made sure security releases, and things are on my boards, my blogs and stuff like that but I haven’t done much more. With my medical appointments and everything else is quite hard to do that. I always try to go to my friends once a month I try to get out of here so I don’t have to go crazy in the winter Time , I like to do stuff like that with my website, and I will be doing so quite soon because I must make sure everything is updated.

that’s my opinion, I guess I could say I can see both ends of the spectrum, so I’m not sure exactly if it makes sense to make this form, or if it’s good the way it is.? I could go either way, and as I said, it’s up to MIKE.  😀😀

I woold think that "...desires" fora would be more appropriate in the "Lifestyle" sections. For one thing, I would wager that most IC persons and involuntary bedwetters would be pretty ticked off about being lumped in with the frivolous ones who have no idea of what it is like to "have to" deal with IC or live with what went with being a bedwetting child the shame and sometimes beatings,  and what it is like to have no choice in the matter.

The one that I find comical for its ignorance is "Little of Faith". The only relationship between a 5 year old and a church is that of who had to be dragged kicking and screaming to what: It is sort of like dehydrated water or roasted snow. That one should be in "The Rest of Your Life" and not restricted to Judeo-Christian. That makes it very parochial and not universally applicable without some highly acrobatic semantic gyrations that would be obvious as trying too hard. It would be better called Spirtuality and Philosophy and could be used for politics because that is a branch of philosophy and nobody would have a good reason to feel slighted, disrespected or made unwelcome

Brian, Thanks , I guess I wasn't thinking about what goes into making another thread,  like a bed wetter vs the desire to let it go in our sleep. I wasn't an adult bed wetter, but as time goes on and I am wearing 24/7, I do wet at night sometimes without knowing it.  We do have a lot here that wet the bed when a kid, and then started back up as an adult for all different reasons .
