The worst thing about depression is having no one to blame it on or nothing to justify it. Having a real bad day and just want to be able to yell at someone to make me feel better.

How about taking a trash bag and picking up litter along the street.  People who see you feel a bit ashamed that they don't do it and think good about you and may even thank you, which helps your self esteem, and you feel good that you have done it.
