So they fit fairly well, not too huge and baggy like many are and so they prevent leaks from an over saturated diaper.

I wear both rubber pants (panties if you wish) and rubber bloomers.  

As I am medically both bowel and bladder incontinent, I appreciate that rubber pants will transmit less odor than plastic pants in the event of a bowel accident.  

At night I wear rubber bloomers over another pair of plastic pants as the legs of the bloomers fit lower on my thighs and wll stop any leaks from the plastic pants.  Also, the legs of the boomers can be adjusted to different positions to avoid skin irritation from the leg elastics.

As I almost always wear a onesie, any reasonable bagginess does not bother me.

I am careful in washing and drying my rubber pants and have found that they will last a very long time.  I have been using one pair for three years.

I buy my rubber pants/panties from Protex.
