Not exactly "short" but I couldn't care less. I too hope and expect Victoria to catch them before they leave: Mia isn't that interesting a character and should not be allowed to last the whole story. Also, Claire's idea sounds like it will be great fun to watch!

I agree on this point. Also Clarie and her Amazon are so cute together I hope she let's it progress Clarie deserves some good boobies to nurse from.

Mia didn't fit into my original plan for the story. I'm finally getting to the part where things get a bit more interesting ^^

Wonderful chapter: I'm glad Chloe is properly diapered now. I sure wish I could find a local Diamond Tours office!

The previous chapter was a bit boring, but you really created one hell of a cliffhanger here with this newest one. Mia literally has Chloe in the palms of her hands, but she's screwed herself royally here. Why not leave with her out of the back of the hotel or leave through a side entrance? Leaving past Victoria's office is just asinine and shows how blindsided Mia is by Chloe. She literally could've placed Chloe in a garbage bag, say she was talking out the trash and then, once outsife of the hotel she could've ran to the City's sidewalk and taken Chloe out of the bag... I think what I'm trying to say is Mia is a huge dumbass!

 

I also hope that Claire gets to wear a big diaper and trades in her bottle of booze for a nice chalky bottle of baby formula, but unlike Mia, Claire is intelligent so I don't see that happening.

I for one hopes she gets to do the adoption thing and I think Claire needs to be adopted with how much she drinks. I’m surprised they let her get away with that.

Hmm... I take it there is a loophole in which since Chloe didn't complain, Victoria can't quite act, only fire Mia. As for Mia herself I take it she will go out the back, buying a bit of time. Or will there be one of those weird coincidences where a Little's rights group attacks the Hotel and in the confusion of things, Mia gets off free and all evidence is wiped with Victoria potentially taken out, such that Mia gets away with things for the moment.

Cue the rest of the story of Claire trying to find a way to prove fraud or such to nullify the adoption or even better finding evidence of a far bigger conspiracy where ELNAP has agents in CAMOL and is working from within to discredit it and get it declared a terrorist organization.

Chapter 7

 

As the elevator began to descend down to the first floor, Mia began to wonder if anyone would actually go through the trouble of stopping her now that she had what she wanted.

'If it’s somewhat busy, I don’t think I should have any issue bringing Chloe outside… Now that I think about it, even if I’m questioned, it’s not like my co-workers will try to physically stop me. They know they don’t get paid nearly enough to go through such trouble. At worst, they will call the authorities. By the time they arrive I’ll already be at the nearest adoption facility with my baby girl. I know that I'll have to pay some hefty fines but at least I won’t face any jail time if I legally adopt Chloe before then.’

Mia soon turned her attention to the girl in her arms. She watched as Chloe quietly suckled on her pacifier while her legs were wrapped around the amazon’s waist. Mia was thankful that everything was going smoothly for now. The pacifier was doing it's job by keeping Chloe docile and ignorant to everything around her.

‘Knowing Chloe, it will probably take her around a month or so before she will completely break and accept her new lifestyle, just like most portal littles do. I’ll admit, she is going to be such a financial burden but I’m positive that I can figure it out. I’ll need to put her in one of the most strict and safest daycares around. She is definitely the type that will try to escape. Even if I constantly breast feed her, her adult ego will still be an issue for the first week or two. As for tonight, I’ll make sure that she is properly fed and doesn’t leave my sight after the adoption process is completed.’

There was an odd silence in the elevator for a moment as Mia awaited for the elevator door to open, the only sounds coming from the enclosed room was from Chloe making small whimpering noises while she rested her head on the amazon's chest. Mia couldn't wait to see what Chloe would be like in the next month. There were so many ideas flowing through her head.

“There there. It’s going to be alright, we are almost out of here, honey bunny. Mommy knows that you cannot wait to leave this nasty hotel with me. Your new home will be so much more welcoming!” Mia playfully patted Chloe on her back until she heard some odd noises coming from outside the elevator. Mia thought about forcefully opening the door since they were now on the first floor but before she could fully consider the idea, the elevator began to ascend.

‘Why are we going up? This doesn’t make sense…Unless...SHIT!'

Mia quickly pushed the emergency button several times in an attempt to stop the elevator from going up any further but it wasn’t responding to her request.  The irritated amazonian could do nothing as the elevator stopped on the twelfth floor, which was the area strictly for management. As the elevator door opened, Mia took a deep breath, assuming that Victoria had found out what was doing and was waiting for her at the elevator's entrance but as soon as the door opened, Mia noticed that no one was there to greet her. A huge sigh of relief filled Mia's lungs as she slowly walked through the hallway while carefully holding on to Chloe, making sure that she clung to her chest.

‘Could it be just a simple malfunction? I don't see her anywhere. Damn it, why must I go through this when I'm so close to owning my ideal baby.'

Mia took a quick glance at Chloe, just making sure that she was still mentally regressed and not secretly faking it. There wasn’t a single sound except the heavy breathing coming from the amazonian and the crinkling from Chloe's diaper. Even though Mia could see that she was all alone in the floor with her baby girl, Mia felt like she was somehow being watched from all corners.

“Listen honey bunny, we are going to use the emergency exit, which means we are going to have to walk down a long set of stairs, so please bear with me and I promise I’ll get us out of here soon!” Mia casually kissed Chloe on the cheek before increasing her walking pace. Chloe didn't respond as she continued to appear spaced out while peacefully suckling on her pacifier.  Mia was most pleased at how effective the soother was working on the portal little. And while it was known to be quite effective against native littles, the overall regressive effects on portal littles was still inconsistent. There was a lot of testing that still needed to be done to see if there was any definitive biological difference between a native and portal little.

Before Mia could head towards the emergency exit, a door to her right opened on its own, revealing a conference room inside. A voice could be heard from within.

“Please come in…Mia…” Mia knew who that voice was. The jig was up. Mia walked into a conference room to see Victoria sitting at the end table all by herself while going over some paperwork. Mia didn't want to resort to violence but she was not about to give up on her goals of becoming a mommy.

“Hey there Victoria. Apparently there is a malfunction on the elevator, you might want to get that looked at.” Mia knew that idle small talk would not get her anywhere. Her only logical chance was to convince her friend and co-worker to let her go.

“Thank you for the feedback. I'll be sure to inform tech support on the issue…Now onto an entirely different subject, you and your little one seem to be a bit lost. Is there somewhere you are trying to head off too?”  Victoria asked as she remained calm and composed, unlike Mia was being.

“I’m trying to escort my baby out the front door, however since the elevator isn’t cooperating properly, I have no choice but to use the emergency stairs. It’s quite a pain if you ask me.” Mia kept her focus on Victoria's eyes, wondering what game she was playing.

“It really is. Taking care of a portal little requires a lot of work and dedication. You must have some incredible will-power to work at this hotel while also taking care of your baby at the very same time.” Mia had heard enough and wasn't in the mood to play along with Victoria’s. The time of idle small-chat was over.

“Vicky, please stop screwing with me. You already know what I have want to do, so how about giving me the courtesy of exiting this building along with my honey bunny and in return, I will come into work tomorrow like normal. In other words, nothing as changed.”

“Nothing has changed…Huh?… I could have sworn that something has changed Mia…” 

“And what exactly would that be?” 

 “Our trust and friendship.” Victoria began to speak in a more hostile tone of voice.

“What the hell do you mean? We have always treated each other with respect. We have known each other even before we both started working in this hotel!” 

“Is that so? I’m so sorry! I was under the impression that I was being misled and was being used for nefarious illegal purposes. Victoria grabbed a remote near her and pressed a button on it, which caused a TV screen behind her to turn on and it began to play an audio recording that revealed Mia using Victoria’s name to threaten Chloe. 

“How!? That shouldn’t have been possible!” 

“Oh…It’s very possible.” Victoria then showed a piece of video footage of when Mia tried to force Chloe into wearing a diaper a few nights ago while also showing the incident where Chloe kicked Mia in the stomach.

“I don’t blame you for being surprised. It’s quite simple for an employee to turn off the audio and video recordings from their name tag to avoid detection…BUT what they don’t realize is that the name tags also carry a back-up option, which is only available for the supervisor to see and hear. You are not the only one that has tried to pull off such a feeble stunt.” Victoria smiled as she could see the look of disbelief on Mia’s face.

“Okay I’ll admit that I bent the rules a bit in my favor, but you have to realize that Chloe did wet her pants and she did use physical force against me!  That is more than enough reason for me to punish her!”  Mia patted Chloe's diaper to show Victoria what she had accomplished.

“While employee’s do have the right to punish tourists, that is only the case if they act up and are the aggressors, not the other way around. Also, if I remember correctly, tourists can only be adopted by the local citizens while outside the hotel and are not with their tour guide. Tourists can also be forced to be sent to an orphanage if they are acting out of line, but that requires my approval beforehand. As you know, there isn’t a rule in place where an employee can just claim a portal little whenever they want.” Mia hated how dedicated Victoria was with following the rules laid out by the city.

“Ya ya…I know all about the damn rules! But Vicky, you do know that these rules were not in place over seven years ago when we started.. We employee’s were once able too…!” Mia was interrupted as Victoria spoke over her.

“And because of that, Diamond Tours nearly went bankrupt.  They have learnt their lesson and have become more regulated which has helped immensely with the profits and most importantly, its reputation.. A stunt just like what you are doing puts a black mark on the company as a whole.” Mia knew exactly what Victoria was talking about. Nearly a decade ago, almost every tourist was adopted without question, which lead to a massive decrease in tourists. And there had to be some major changes to the organization as a whole in order to save it from going under.

“Can’t you just look past this minor infraction? She’s just one tourist. You know that I’ve had my eye on Chloe ever since she first entered the hotel. And you also know that I’ve done my best to refrain myself from attempting to adopt any other tourists ever since I first started here!” Mia noticed that Victoria was beginning to look a bit more relaxed as if she were becoming more understanding.

“Chloe needs me. She needs a mommy in her life. I can provide that to her. Give me a few weeks with her and she will forget everything about her old dreary life. I can even let you babysit her after I get her accustomed at my house.

“That is true, she is only one tourist and you have been a very loyal employee. I have no doubt that you would make a great mother for Chloe. Based on what I’ve seen, she is in desperate need of a proper parental figure in her life. Spending the next few decades as an infant would be best for her well-being.” Mia began to smile, feeling that Victoria had finally sided with her.

“So Vicky? Can you help me bring Chloe to my car? I really would love to have her officially adopted before the sun sets.” Mia asked as she began to calm down somewhat. There was a moment of silence before Victoria sharply smiled and spoke up.

“I’ll escort you to the elevator.” Victoria slowly got up from her chair and walked over to where Mia was standing. The two amazons looked at each other for a second before they headed to the elevator. 

“I have to say Vicky, you really had me going there. I was worried that you were going to get all serious and lay down the law on me, haha.” Mia chuckled to herself as she entered the elevator with Victoria. Chloe looked at Victoria with a glazed look in her eyes. Victoria looked back with a smirk.

“I have a thing for the dramatics. I personally enjoy keeping things suspenseful until the end, hehe.” Mia didn’t like Victoria’s expression but she soon turned her attention to Chloe, happy that she had finally sealed the deal with her new baby girl. Chloe still wasn’t able to comprehend her situation as she continued to be idle while in Mia's arms.

“Chloe looks to be quite regressed. What type of pacifier did you use to subdue her?” Victoria asked.

“I purchased the new solace version, I could have gotten the stronger alpha pacifier, but I want Chloe to be cognitive without the pacifier at certain times. My goal is to slowly adapt her into accepting her new life. I understand that it will take much time and effort but that is something I can live with.”

“I see, if I remember, the solace pacifier version will only keep her regressed as long as she is using the soother, correct?” 

“Yep. I plan to keep it in her mouth until I’m ready to bring her home and start breastfeeding her. If I’m lucky, perhaps my milk will have a positive effect on her mental state and she will see me as a parental type of figure.” Mia said.

“Do you really think that a stubborn girl like Chloe will accept you after being nursed from just one sitting? You know that etiquette schools have a higher success rate when it comes to transforming a portal little into the ideal infant."

“I too doubt one sitting will do much, but even the most stubborn little will eventually break at some point. It’s about time and patience. Etiquette schools are nice an all, but they are way too expensive for something I would personally enjoy doing.  Besides, once she fully submits, I can move forward with the other projects I have planned for my honey bunny.” Victoria watched as Mia began to speak to Chloe in baby talk, obviously Chloe couldn’t understand what the amazon was saying as she continued to rest her head on the amazons chest. 

“Before we reach the first floor, can I hold Chloe for one final time?” Victoria casually asked. Mia gave her co-worker a questionable look but decided to hand her over, believing that everything was all set in stone. 

“So Chloe, how does it feel to have the mindset of an actual infant? I know that you can’t understand me but I just want to let you know that while I believe that you would be better off this way, I have a job to do and it’s my responsibility to look after your kind so long as you obey the rules.” Victoria then removed the pacifier from Chloe’s mouth which alarmed Mia.

“VICKY! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!…UGH!!!” Mia soon found herself on the floor after being tased by Victoria. The elevator door opened which revealed two police officers standing near the entrance. Victoria then put the taser in her pocket while thanking the officers for waiting by the elevator door.

“Is this the woman, Ms. Victoria?” The officer asked as he looked down at the unconscious amazonian.

“Yes, that is her officer, take her away. As for any paperwork that you need me to fill out, please leave it at my desk. I’ll get to it after I assist our whittle guest here.” Victoria patted Chloe’s butt while watching Mia being handcuffed and dragged away by the authorities.  Several amazons were watching the incident but remained quiet, not wanting to be involved with whatever drama was unfolding.

“That’s what you get when you break the rules. I really didn’t want to do this but you left me no choice Mia.” Victoria noticed that Chloe was starting to come to her senses as the elevator door closed and began to ascend. 

“Wha…What’s…Where am…I?” Chloe slurred with her words as she rubbed her eyes with her hands. Victoria giggled as she carried the dazed and confused portal little back to her hotel room.

“I feel like I had the worst hangover possible.. I am so…”

“Confused?” Victoria asked as she carried Chloe into her room and gently laid the girl down on her mattress.

“...Ya…I felt like I was trapped in some sort of weird dream that I couldn’t wake up from.” Chloe placed a hand on her head as she tried to gather herself and figure out why she was so out of it.

“Did the dream involve you peacefully sucking on a pacifier while also wearing a diaper?”  Victoria chuckled as Chloe's face turned beat red when looking at her.

“Exactly, just what…WAIT!!! WHAT?!!!” Chloe looked down to see the padded undergarment that she was wearing, but before Chloe tried to rip the diaper off, Victoria gently tapped her on the forehead to get her attention. 

“Relax, I’ll personally remove that diaper from you in a second, I just wanted to let you know that the matter with Mia has been resolved. She will not be harassing you anymore." 

“Wait! What happened to that bitch!?” Chloe quickly looked around the room and was relieved that Mia wasn’t around to do as she pleased.

“Mia has been arrested. She foolishly tried to illegally adopt you. She came close but I kept tabs on her and prevented her from going through with it.” Victoria grabbed a piece of paper from her back pocket and placed it right next to the distraught girl.

“Seriously! Thank fucking god! She was such a creep!” Chloe laid down on the mattress, feeling a massive sense of relief.

“Can you please ease up on the language? I’ll allow it for now, given what has just occurred today, but keep in mind that you are not in your dimension, you still have certain rules to follow while you are in our domain.” 

“What exactly happened? Why am I in this stupid diaper as well. I don’t remember having this put on me.” Chloe tried again to remove the tapes from both sides but was still unable to make them budge with her strength. Victoria smiled at Chloe’s futile effort.

“Mia illegally used a form of mental regression via this pacifier. You were quite docile as you quietly suckled on this.” Victoria put the pacifier back in her pocket as she went to grab the tapes on Chloe’s diaper. Chloe was about to resist until she quickly remembered that Victoria was going to remove the padded undergarment for her.  Chloe blushed as she remained quiet while the amazon did her thing.

“So…All this time, everything that Mia woman was doing was actually illegal?

“Of course, if you read the pamphlet regarding the rules and regulations or our hotel, you would have known that it is illegal for any employee can lay a hand on a tourist unless the tourist is the instigator of an altercation. I have proof that Mia started the altercation that lead you to this point. She did a good job of making you believe that she was in the right.” After taking the diaper off of Chloe, Victoria casually threw it into the nearest trash bin. Chloe covered up her privates with her hands, as she sat up, her body was visibly shaking.

“What about you? I thought you were in on this fiasco as well?” Chloe wanted to know what Victoria's role was in all this and if it was some ploy to lure her into another horrible predicament. 

“While I was good friends with Mia, it didn't give her any special privileges, otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation.  Are you disappointed that you were not actually adopted, haha." Chloe gritted her teeth, she was doing her best to hold in her inner rage. She couldn't believe Victoria was actually joking about all this.

“I’ll admit that I had the thought about adopting you myself, but it’s not the first time I’ve considered doing that with the new tourists that come to visit our dimension. I may be an amazon, but I’m always about business over pleasure. And now I understand why you were so hesitant to speak with me about your frustrations from earlier on. If you believed that I was corroborating with Mia, it would most definitely make things even more difficult for you.”

“Of course! I mean you are not exactly all that approachable, especially what you did after we first met. You took off my freaking shoes without my permission and even checked my underwear! How the hell could I trust you after creepy crap!” Chloe yelled with a look of frustration. 

“Removing a tourist's shoes, just to let you know, is all perfectly legal while inside the hotel building. Also if a tourist is wearing a pull-up, it is also legal for us to check and see if they need a change. My actions may seem unorthodox but I’m the type that always follows the rules. I may come close to breaking them but I in the end, I never have done so.” Victoria enjoyed how flustered Chloe looked while in her birthday suit. 

“And kidnapping tourists and forcing them to become someone's damn baby is considered normal? Seriously, how the hell can you think like that? It’s so damn deplorable!”

“It’s because you keep having the idea that the laws in your dimension also apply here... They don't. You are in our world, where our culture and environment is far beyond your scope of reasoning. If you keep thinking like that, you will obviously not last long. Consider your friend Claire, she has been visiting and working in our dimension for several years now and she knows how to keep herself out of trouble and because of that, she hasn’t been legally eligible for adoption just yet.. As much as I would love to see her claimed by a nice amazon couple, I do admire her ability to keep a steady head. Speaking of which, she called me earlier and was really worried about you. I suggest you give her a call when you get the chance.” Chloe watched as Victoria casually began to walk towards the front door, looking rather proud of herself.

“Where are you going!?” Chloe asked while covering her breasts and privates with her arms, distressed that she had nothing to cover herself.

“What does it look like? I’m going back to work. I have so much paperwork to fill out especially with the police report about this whole debacle with Mia.  So as much as I would love to stay around and talk, I don’t have the luxury to do so. But I do have good news for you. Since Mia was one of our employees and as our hotel is affiliated with Diamond Tours, you will be compensated for your trouble. That piece of paper right next to you, if you bring it to Diamond Central, you will be able to head back to your dimension while also receiving a small financial settlement. All you have to do is call the number at the bottom of the paper and an employee from Diamond Tours will escort you to Diamond Central so you can exit this dimension. If you have any more questions, please be sure to ask them when you call them.” 

“What about my sister? I thought you were going to help out with that!?” 

“Unfortunately, I was not able to find any information on your sister with the spare time I had. However, you are welcome to stay at our hotel and continue to keep looking for her if you feel like it. I would be more than welcome to accommodate you anyway I can. I really did enjoy our time together yesterday!” Victoria chuckled as she gently closed the door, leaving Chloe all by herself to figure out her next course of action.

“This entire day has been one big shit-show.” Chloe wasted no time and decided to get dressed in her normal clothes, she didn't care of she didn't have any underwear to put on. She cursed Mia for throwing her all her panties away. Chloe then took a moment to look over the piece of paper on her bed and review the details on it.

'This looks promising but I still feel weary about it. I need to call Claire, she is the only person that I can trust.'

 

* * * * * * * * *

“Hello? CHLOE!? My goodness it’s so good to finally hear from you! I was getting a bit worried after not hearing from you in the past couple of days. Are you alright?” Claire put her laptop to the side as she focused all her attention on her friend. 

“Far from it. I just went through hell and back. I'm not sure if you would believe it, but I was mentally regressed and nearly kidnapped by one of these crazy giants. This dimension is sick!” 

“I believe you! And that's an outcome that has unfortunately become far too normal in this dimension. I’m so glad you were not adopted. Once the adoption becomes finalized, you can never return to your dimension. Can you please explain everything that happened? Claire asked.

“Listen… I don’t know if you can do this…But is there any way that you can pick me up and allow me to stay at your place for the night? If so, I’ll gladly go over everything. Right now, I just want to get the fuck out of this hotel. Even though Victoria said I was going to be alright, I don’t want to be in this cursed dump any longer. The smell of baby powder still lingers in the air. It’s just awful.” 

“Actually, I was going to eventually ask you that as well. There is no rule on having guests in this business hotel.”

“That's great. Also I would like to go over this piece of paper I received from Victoria. Apparently I can leave this dimension at any time with it. I don't know how legit it is, also I was wondering if you had found anything about my sister ?”Chloe asked.

Actually, I found a way to get an answer on your sister's whereabouts and I wanted to talk with you in person about it. While I personally cannot pick you up for obvious reasons. There is an amazonian that I personally know that would be able to be of some assistance. I can call her and have her pick you up from the hotel and bring you to the building I’m staying at.”.

“REALLY! That’s such wonderful news! Especially with all the crap that I’ve been going through, I'm gonna need some serious therapy when I'm done here." 

“All right, I’ll contact Aisha and have her pick you up within the hour, is that okay?” 

“Wait a moment! This Aisha person, can she really be trusted? Keep in mind if I go outside without a tour guide, I’m gonna end up being fucking kidnapped! I have already been through enough bullshit today!” Chloe looked over at the diaper that was in the trash can, praying that would be the last time she would have to see something like that.

“Aisha is a bit clingy but overall she is a decent person…Well, for an amazonian that is. If you do have any problems, just bring up my name and she will act accordingly.” 

Chloe thanked Claire and began to double check her luggage after disconnecting the call with her. Chloe wanted to make sure that she didn't leave anything behind in the hotel before she exited it for the last time. 

‘With this paper, I can finally leave this hell hole…But what about Tanya? I can’t just leave without her. Hopefully Claire will have something.’

Around an hour later, Chloe heard a hard knock on her hotel door, she slowly walked towards the door, still slightly skeptical on who it could be. She knew it wasn’t going to be Mia but was still cautious none the less.

Chloe opened the door to see another imposing amazon staring down at her. Chloe noticed that she looked to be slightly taller and had a slightly darker complexion compared to most of the amazons she had seen during her stay.

“Are you…Aisha? Chloe asked as she backed away slightly, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the giants presence. 

“And you must be Claire’s best friend, Chloe. You are just like her, so adorable!” Aisha wasted no time and picked up the startled portal little and held the girl right to her chest. 

“HEY! I’ve already been through enough crap today. In case you don't know, I was nearly freaking kidnapped by one of your kind. So can you please give me some space!” Chloe’s words caught Aisha by surprise as she quickly lowered the girl back onto the floor. 

“I’m so sorry to hear about that! You must have been so terrified!” Aisha looked down to see Chloe taking a few deep breaths, obviously still slightly traumatized from earlier. 

Chloe looked over at Aisha and noticed that unlike Mia and Victoria, she legitimately looked concerned. 

“Claire told me…That you were trustworthy. I'm sure that you understand that if I leave this hotel that I am putting my very freedom in your hands!"

“I most certainly understand! I know exactly what happens to tourists that leave the hotel unsupervised, but I won't let anything happen to you! I have known Claire for some time and do not want to ruin the bond we have. And any friend of Claire’s is a friend of mine!” Aisha’s words seemed to provide a small bit of comfort to Chloe as she exited the room with her luggage bag in hand.

“I understand that you are looking for a family member, is that right?” Aisha asked.

“Ya, it hasn’t gone exactly like I had planned.” Aisha knew that Chloe wasn’t in the best of moods but she still needed to let the smaller girl know what to expect.

“Keep in mind that when we go outside, you will have to be holding my hand at all times until we reach my vehicle. If any Amazon were to see you walking around and were not being carried or holding the hand of a amazon, they have the legal right to claim you as their own.”

Chloe reluctantly agreed, knowing that she had no viable option in objecting. She was seen as nothing more than a baby or at best, a toddler that needed to be cared for.

“As long as I can avoid any more drama, that’s fine by me. This will be a cake walk compared to what I just recently went through. ” Chloe allowed Aisha to take her hand as they walked towards the elevator.

“While we are at it, please let me take your luggage for you. It will be easier for the both of us.” Chloe allowed Aisha to take her luggage and held it over her shoulder with ease.

As they exited the elevator, Chloe's grip on Aisha’s hand grew tighter as they passed by several amazonians. Aisha could see that Chloe was surveying the whole area, as if she were being targeted by everyone. Aisha made sure that her pace was slow enough for Chloe to keep up. She would have preferred to carry the smaller girl, but after hearing what Chloe went through, Aisha decided that it was best to not push things. As the two stood before the front entrance to the hotel, Chloe stopped moving and Aisha quickly noticed the lack of response before moving onward.

“You need a moment, Chloe?” Aisha asked.

“Ya...Just need to... Gather myself” Chloe bit her lip before exiting the building with Aisha by her side. Chloe knew that she was was now in uncharted territory. If something unexpected were to take place, she would have no legal recourse Her fate was now in the hands of an amazonian she had just met. The only consolation was that Claire vouched for her. 

'We have been walking for nearly ten minutes, just how far is her car?' 

Chloe watched as they passed by a few amazonians as they entered a large parking lot, most of the littles were either being carried by their caretakers or being pushed in a stroller. Aisha kept herself from smiling as she looked down at the helpless portal little beside her.

“Claire was just like you when she first came to our dimension. She looked and most definitely felt very awkward after figuring out how our dimension worked. So many of our amazon co-workers saw her as an easy target, fortunately for Claire, she was a quick learner and managed to keep herself out of diapers during her first visit! She did have to wear pull-ups during our probation period. Not many portal littles every get to graduate back to their adult underwear.” Aisha opened her car door and then helped Chloe into a booster seat on the passenger side. 

“Wait! Is this…Necessary? Chloe knew what the answer but she still wanted to resist in her own futile way. It didn't help that the booster seat was bright blue and had some cartoonish designs on the side of it.

“I’m afraid so. If I were to not buckle you in a booster seat, you wouldn’t be the only one to face any serious charges if we were pulled over by the cops.” Aisha buckled Chloe into her seat before putting her duffle bag in the trunk. 

‘The interior is identical to the vehicles in my world, except it's larger. Everything just has to be bigger here. This entire world is like something out of a dream...Or a nightmare'

“Are you comfortable enough? I can see that it’s not to your liking but it will have to do until we reach our location. Do you want a bottle of water?" Chloe politely declined Aisha's gesture. The two of them decided to remain quiet until they left the hotel parking lot. 

'Can I really accomplish anything? Or am I just playing the blind fool?  I'll just wait and see what Claire has to say.'

Chloe hated to admit that the booster seat did keep her rather comfortable but it still felt demeaning to be in one. Around a half later, Chloe decided to speak up after getting bored by the mindless dribble on the radio regarding topics on topics that did no favors to any littles.

“So Aisha, you work with Claire at Diamond Tours?” 

“Kind of. While I work for that very company, Claire is actually here on the behalf of Onyx Logistics, a separate company that is affiliated with mine. We go over various internal projects and make several presentations with many of the higher ups.” 

“How many…Portal littles do you work with?”

“We used to have over two dozen in the past couple years but that number has dwindled down into the single digits. I believe we only have around five left that are still employed.” Aisha responded.

“Why is that?” Chloe felt like she knew the answer but still wanted to hear it.

“The portal littles that came here were eventually fired due to poor work ethnic or quit because the job became too strenuous on them.” 

“The portal littles that quit or are fired…Are they allowed to go back to their dimension?” Chloe asked.

“They are able too under rare circumstances. Normally they will end up being adopted by a co-worker or are referred to an amazon couple that are looking to adopt. If the portal little doesn't cooperate, they will be forcefully sent to the nearest orphanage."

“Why am I not surprised by all of this, Jesus.” 

“It’s not an easy job. It can be quite taxing on the mind. As for Claire, she seems to have a knack for this type of gig. She is currently the only portal little that hasn’t been forced to wear a diaper yet. She is so diligent on using the potty at all times.” 

“How do you feel about that?” Chloe now wanted to know what Aisha personally thought about Claire and perhaps get a better idea of their professional relationship.

“Claire is really special to me. I’m so proud of her accomplishments and value her friendship, even after the times I almost took things a bit too far, hehe.” 

“Let me guess, you tried to convince her to wear a diaper and do other dumb infantile things with her?” Chloe could see that Aisha’s smile wavered for a moment while she kept her attention on the road.

“I’ll admit that I allowed my maternal instincts to take over at times, which nearly caused our professional relationship to be ruined. But even after everything, Claire still has the heart to forgive me for some of my actions. I have been trying my best to keep a level head and see Claire only as a friend and co-worker…It’s not easy but I value what we have. We amazonian women are biologically programmed to see you littles as infants, or even toddlers at best. Either way, we don't have much faith that your kind are capable of properly taking care of yourselves."

“Do you think believe that I am not capable of taking care of myself? And that I should just allow some random stranger to do as they please and put me in a freaking diaper!?" 

"No, I'm not speaking about you. I'm saying this as a generalization. We amazons know that you portal littles have proven that you can look after yourselves but in due time, your kind may slip-up on something and that in our eyes is enough to deem you incapable of being independent.  Which is why you need to be extra careful while in our dimension. Unlike the native littles, your kind is allowed the opportunity to live among us, but one mistake will change all of that!"

"I've seen first hand what happens when I make a mistake and what can come of it. It's still so screwed up. And the idea that my sister could be in an even worse position than I am...It makes me feel sick to my stomach." Chloe replied.

"You are are a really good person Chloe. For you to go to such lengths to find your sibling. I really hope that everything will workout for you." Chloe could see that appeared genuinely concerned and prayed that most amazons were like her and not Mia." The two of them continued to converse for the next fifteen minutes until they reached their destination. 

“I don’t think I have met too many littles that have gone through what you have and managed to retain your freedom. You have some serious luck on your side, Hopefully it will bring you some results on finding your sister!” After parking, Aisha helped Chloe in unbuckling her from the booster seat she was confined in.

"Why the hell does Claire want to work here after knowing the potential drawback of losing your very adulthood!?" Chloe asked as she enjoyed the breeze coming from the outside air.

"Money and a lot of it. She is a very financially driven little. Her job pays quite well, it's one of the main reasons as to why people in her position come here. The downside is that once you begin to mess up, it could lead to a host of new issues."

Ya...Working on a document in a board room one day and then you will find yourself in playpen sucking on a rattle the next.” Aisha quietly giggled at Chloe comment as she took her hand. As the two of them began to walk towards the building, Chloe noticed that it was over twice the size of the hotel she was staying at.

“This building doesn’t have a name but it is owned by Diamond Tours. It acts as both a professional work environment and a hotel for the employees that are managed under Onyx Logistics. This is where Claire is staying during her short duration in our dimension.` Chloe looked up and was amazed by the architecture of the building and knew that she could easily get lost if she wasn’t careful.

“So do you think I’ll be safe here? After all,  I’m not employed by any of these companies.” Chloe asked as they entered the building and took a moment to check out the unique interior landscape.

“Honestly I’m not entirely sure. I would recommend staying by Claire’s side at all times especially if  you are not inside her room. I’ll be honest, I have many amazon co-workers that are looking to adopt. So if they were to find out that someone like you is available to claim, they will not hesitate for a second, keep that in mind before trying to do something bold.” Chloe shivered at the thought, but knew that she had to be even more cautious since she was no longer legally protected by Diamond Tours.

‘This is so stupid, I can’t believe that I’m going to be making a presentation at one of the city’s etiquette schools. Fuck, that is one of the worst places that a little can go to. But I have to keep in mind that I’m only going for business purposes and to meet with the chairman and a few members of the top brass...Looks like Tracy will be coming with me. She’s alright for an amazonian, but still…I can’t believe that my boss at Onyx logistics approved of this meeting. He knows how these etiquette schools work. Why must I make a presentation there? I have never had to do that before. Ugh! Such a pain in the ass!'

Claire was busy while writing down a few notes on her laptop while taking another swig from her trusty flask. The taste of the hard liquor going down her throat was her form of salvation. The warm sensation emitting through her body was proof that she was still an adult and that was a reminder that she needed to stay diligent. Claire was in her own world as she continued to write down everything that she would be needing to prepare herself for the meeting. She was so absorbed into her work that she nearly dropped her laptop as a knock could be heard at the front door of her room.

Claire carefully put her laptop away as she walked towards the door, trying to focus her attention as she opened the door revealing both Chloe and Aisha.

“Chloe! So good to see you! It feels like it’s been forever!” Claire greeted Chloe as she casually walked into her room, Aisha watched as the two portal littles hugged each other, happy for their reunion.

“It really feels like it. The last few days have been nuts, I just couldn’t stay in that hotel any longer after what nearly happened to me.”

“I would like to know what happened? From what I understand, the tours can be a mixed bag, especially on who the tour guide is. Was Victoria that much of a bitch?” Claire asked.

“She was more creepy than bitchy, in fact, she is the main reason as to why I am here now and haven’t been kidnapped. This dimension is so messed up!” Chloe watched as Aisha placed her luggage on the floor near Claire’s bed before turning her attention back to Claire. 

“I’m quite surprised. She is an amazonian that has a reputation for screwing with many portal littles when she gets the chance. Thankfully she takes her job rather seriously, so I’m glad that she was able to help you in your time of need. It sounds like you were not at fault for whatever occurred. Listen, why don’t you relax and make yourself comfortable? I need to talk with Aisha for a moment and then we can continue our conversation, is that okay?” Chloe agreed to continue the chat a bit later as she laid herself down on the mattress, relieved that she was in a safe location.

“It was so nice to finally meet with you Chloe! If you need anything from me, please feel free to reach out at any time!” Aisha smiled as Chloe gave a thumbs up while keeping her eyes closed. Aisha walked outside the hotel room and watched as Claire slowly walked beside her while her head was down.

“Something wrong Clairey? You look rather distant.” Aisha asked as she knelt down to look Claire directly in the eyes. 

“I just got a notification from my boss that I’ll be needing to make a presentation at one of the etiquette schools, starting on Monday. I’m sure that you are aware of my personal opinion on them.” 

“I’m so sorry to hear about that. Ever since you have started working here, I have known that you have wanted to avoid going to such a facility. What is the purpose for it? Is it really related to your job?” Aisha asked with concern.

“It is, apparently Onyx logistics is now going to have a partnership with one of the etiquette schools via Diamond Tours and I’m the lucky one that has to act as the middleman to bring this affiliation to fruition. I would rather not go, but I can’t exactly pick and choose where I’m needed, I get paid to obey. Anyhow, I was wondering if you could convince your manager at Diamond Tours to change your schedule so you can tag along, it would make me feel a bit safer knowing that you are there with me.” Claire blushed as she continued to look down at the floor. Aisha’s eyes sparkled at how much she was needed by her friend.

“Aw! My whittle Clairey wants her mommy to protect her! I’ll see what I can do!” Aisha picked Claire up and held the girl right to her chest.

“Jeez Aisha! Always coming up with such delusions, but I’ll admit that I have grown attached to your dumb as heck behavior” Claire sighed as Aisha gently patted her back. Claire knew that she still had to keep Aisha on a tight leash, if she got too comfortable, it would be possible for Aisha's maternal instincts get the best of her.

“You are not possibly going by yourself are you? That would not make any sense!” Aisha asked with concern.

“Tracy has already been scheduled to come with me. When it comes to most amazons, she is manageable . But I haven’t really worked with her all that much. And that is why I would like more support around me when I visit that school.”

“And which Etiquette school would you be visiting? Aisha continued to hold Claire in her arms with a caring expression on her face.

“The school is called Angel Aspirations, I don’t know much about it except that it’s known for producing many obedient littles, both portal and native.” 

“WHAT!? You are to visit that school! What is wrong with your boss! Of all the etiquette schools, that should be the last one you should visit!” Claire was taken aback by how Aisha reacted to the name, apparently she knew more about the facility than expected.

“Ugh…Aisha, what exactly do you know about this etiquette school?” Claire asked as she felt a bit more apprehensive about her upcoming meeting.

“It’s a religious privately owned school that has a reputation for being very strict to all littles and its guests. It’s got an incredible track record for turning even the most hardened littles into obedient babies for their amazonian parents. And unlike most etiquette schools, there is a steep financial cost for sending a little to that school. Why is Onyx logistics partnering up with such a place?” Aisha asked.

“It has something to do with some of the recent regulation changes with Diamond Tours and I have to present the documents to the chairman of the school. It’s not like I’m going to the school to be rehabilitated, it’s all for business purposes.” Aisha slowly lowered Claire so she was now standing back on her feet. 

“I still don’t like it. That school also has a strict dress code, even for the guests. They may try to put you into a diaper if they feel it’s adequate.” 

“Nonsense, legally the only way I can be put in such a thing is if I have an accident. Even that school is not above the law.” Claire said.

“I don’t know. I have heard that the chairman of that school has gained a lot of political influence over the years. Either way, I’ll talk with my boss and see if I can work something out. I don’t want you going to that school without my supervision!” Aisha gently patted Claire on her head before the two of them parted ways. Claire watched as Aisha exited from her field of vision before turning her direction back to her room.

‘This could be bad. If even Aisha finds that school to be a problem, then I’m in for a true test of wills. Even if I were to quit, I would still need to put my two weeks in. So legally, I’m obligated to follow through with this. I also need to think about Chloe and her situation.’

After closing the front door, Claire turned her attention to Chloe as she remained motionless on the bed. Claire assumed that she had fallen asleep.

“Hey Chloe are you…!!!” Claire was shocked to see Chloe sucking on her thumb while laying on her side. Her eyes were still slightly open as they were focused on the television. Claire nudged the girl on her shoulder which eventually got her attention.

“Chloe…Are you not aware? Your thumb…” Chloe didn’t understand what Claire was talking about until she tried to verbally speak. She quickly realized that her thumb was in her mouth. Chloe quickly removed her thumb with a look of horror.

“What the hell!? What the freak is wrong with me!” Chloe took a look at her thumb and noticed that it was slightly wrinkled, showing that she had been sucking on it for some time. 

“Chloe, I think it’s about time you told me about what happened during your stay at the hotel. Given your reaction, you're most likely going through some side effects from being mentally regressed.” Claire took a seat right next to Chloe and reassured her that she would be fine as long as they were together, Chloe decided to speak up and explain everything that occurred. 

Around twenty minutes later, Claire hopped off the bed after hearing the whole story from Chloe. 

“Sounds like you had a rather aggressive amazonian targeting you. It doesn’t happen often because of the laws that are set in place, but occasionally there will be someone that will test their luck. I never expected Victoria to be the one to save you. Either way, I’m glad that you were not adopted."

“So what’s going to happen to me, am I going to get worse because of that damn pacifier? How long are these effects going to last?” Chloe kept looking at her hands as if they could betray her at any moment.

“You should be fine in the long run. Mentally regressive products like the pacifier you were forced to use, only have a limited time frame to affect your body, I expect by the morning that you will be back to normal and you can put the thumb sucking behind you. As long as you are not breastfed, your mental state will always return to normal."

“That’s such a relief! I was really worried out about all this. It was so off-putting being regressed, It felt like I was completely zoned out. As if nothing else mattered anymore.”

“I’ve seen it numerous times with many native littles. It’s a standardized way of keeping control over them. What you really need to watch out for is for the amazons that will try to help you become more accustomed to this way of living. So many of my colleagues have either lost their jobs or have quit. It usually ends up with them being adopted. Now they just spend the rest of their days shitting in their diapers and playing juvenile games, mostly in daycare centers.” 
Chloe began to think about her sister and was now almost convinced that she was most likely put in the same scenario.

“Claire, do you have some sort of news about my sister? After what I just went through, I worry the worst about her.” Chloe pulled out the piece of paper she was given by Victoria and began to put it right next to her on the bed as Claire spoke up.

“Actually I think I may have found a solution regarding your sister, but after what you have just been through, I’m not sure that it’s a viable option at this point.” Claire replied.

“Just humor me Claire, I didn’t come all this way just turn tail and run.” Claire knew that her proposal was not in the best interest of either of them but she knew that if Chloe was serious about her sister, that this would be the best solution. 

“Alright, before I begin, I just want to let you know that I have looked over every option available and the one I’m proposing is the safest one available when it comes to your sister's whereabouts. Remember, this dimension is ruled by the amazons, we littles are just bystanders in it. So if you don’t agree to this, I would personally recommend that you consider going back to your dimension and live your life and forget that this place exists."

“Shit, after all the crap I went through, If it means finding my sister, I’ll probably end up doing whatever you have in mind.” Chloe watched as Claire walked over to a desk near her and pulled out a notebook that contained a document which she then handed over to her. Chloe looked over the document for a moment.

“The rugrats rental program, what the heck?” Chloe continued to read about the proposal while Claire quietly watched and waited for her response.

Roughly five minutes later, Chloe slowly looked up at Claire with a concerned look on her face.

“Claire…Is this seriously the only way? I want to find my sister but holy hell!” 

“Yes. It’s the only way that we can get an answer regarding your sister while also keeping us both safe and legally protected from adoption. This program would only last one week, after that you are legally able to leave the program under your own volition.” Claire could see that Chloe was still having a hard time accepting what she proposed. 

“Claire! This wouldn’t be all that bad…EXCEPT! I would have to be treated as a baby for a whole damn week by an amazon couple! How is this acceptable!?” Chloe asked as she gritted her teeth together, hating the idea that she would have to go through this to find her sister.

“This is the best I can do with the limited power and connections that I have. And while you would be under the care of an amazonian couple, one of them has major influence with the city and would be able to provide an answer on your sister’s location. This is legitimate, I just recently had a meeting with him yesterday. I’m seriously trying to help here!” Chloe could see that Claire was was serious and that she knew what she was doing.

“I’m sorry Claire, I don’t doubt you. It’s just frustrating. I hate how significant we are and how this dimension looks down on us. We don’t have many options…Do we?” 

“No…We really don’t.” The two littles took a few minutes to unwind before continuing the subject at hand.

“According to this proposal, you will be working as a…Mediator? Is that right?” Chloe asked.

“That is correct.  Basically a go-between both you and the amazonian couple. I would be visiting you every other day for the whole week and checking up on you and making sure that your mental state has not been tampered with. If they were to personally do anything against the contract, they could get heavily fined for it and possibly see some jail time as well. And while they would still be able to treat you as their own baby, they cannot use any form of hypnosis such as pacifiers, liquids, or anything that could affect your personal judgment.” Claire explained.

“But I would still be forced to wear a damn diaper…And…Ugh…Use it…Right?”

“Yes. You would also be bathed, fed, nursed with a bottle that isn’t filled with any regressive properties. You would overall be leaving the standard life of the average little in this dimension. But it’s only for one week, in return you will get your answer regarding your sister. Not only that, but the amazonian couple will also be looking into ways that could reunite you with your sister depending on the outcome in finding her.” Chloe wanted to throw up, she still couldn’t believe that this was the best solution available.  She had felt relieved to be out of a diaper, and now it was looking like she would be forced back into one again.

“How exactly well… Do you know this amazon couple? Chloe asked.

“David is a member of the county government so he has some strong connections including the tourism program with Diamond Tours. I’ve only met him a few times but overall he’s a very upstanding amazon and he has personally treated me with much respect and is willing to go through extra lengths to help out with your  sister, but of course this request has to work both ways as you are well aware.” 

“And…His…Wife?” Chloe knew that the female amazonian’s were the ones to watch out for. Their maternal instincts were the stuff of nightmares. 

“I honestly don’t have much of an opinion on Megan. I believe I met her only once and that was a few years ago but I would assume that she had to be somewhat level-headed if she is married to David. Also the reason that they are agreeing to this is because their only daughter just recently went off to college and so Megan has become interested in adopting a little, preferably a portal little. And that is where you come in.”  

“Except this is only a one week rental thing, not some bullshit that could end up screwing me in the long term, is it?” 

“That’s what this program is for. It was created so portal littles could try out living the life of an adopted little but without the long term ramifications. It’s not a popular program compared to the tourism and college programs.” 

“Is there any way I could speak with them and perhaps alter the deal to my liking?” Chloe asked.

“Perhaps, before we can even finalize the deal, you would have to meet with them face to face and discuss any concerns you have beforehand.”

“Everything about this sounds wrong. The very idea that I would have to wear…Let alone use a diaper and act as some dumb useless baby…It’s just all wrong!” Chloe laid the back of her head on Claire’s bed, feeling a familiar sense of dread and hopelessness that she had back in her hotel. Claire grabbed the piece of paper that was beside Chloe and took a moment to review it.

“Chloe…I know that you really want to find your sister, but you should consider your other option. Based on this document you got from Victoria, you can leave this dimension at any time. You would also be compensated quite well for the trouble that you have gone through. Though the money you would receive cannot be used for legal purposes, like hiring a lawyer in this dimension.”

“Ya, but then Tanya would be all alone in this cursed place. I just can’t leave her. I have already been through too much shit to just give up and call it a day!” 

“Are you really willing to spend a week as a baby just so you can get an answer about your sister. Keep in mind, even if she is here in this dimension, if we find out that she’s been adopted, there is basically nothing you can do at that point. Also,  If you agree to this, you cannot opt out until the agreement is fulfilled. A Lot can happen in one week.”

“Most likely my sister is being forced against her will to be a plaything for one of these monsters, if I have to suffer the indignity of being pranced around as a baby…Fuck…I’ll go through with it…It’s just one week of suffering, I can manage somehow.. ” Claire could see that Chloe was not going to change her mind and seemed to be committed.

“Also Chloe, if you find out your sister is not actually in this dimension, you still have to go through this program for one week regardless. You can’t just quit after getting the answer you want."

“Well, let’s just worry about that when the time comes. I would prefer to know that Tanya made it back to our dimension in one piece, so that way I can smack her in the face when I get back!” Claire admired Chloe’s determination, especially after trauma she just went through earlier on in the day.

“Say Claire, do you think I can take a shower right now? I really want to get rid of this lingering smell of baby powder on my body..” 

“Hehe. Sure thing, Just open the door to your right, the bathroom is sized for a little, so you will be good in there.” Claire smiled as she put the documents away and watched Chloe grab a towel for herself.

“One more thing…This is kind of awkward, but I don’t suppose you have any spare underwear I could wear. The psycho amazon that nearly kidnapped me apparently threw all my mine away so i got nothing to wear underneath.” Chloe blushed for asking such an odd question.

“No problem,  here ya go. You appear to be around the same size as me, I know that pull-ups and diapers are not exactly to your taste, hehe.” Claire tried to joke about it, but could see that Chloe wasn't in the mood after figuring out what she would soon be going through.

As Chloe closed the bathroom door to clean herself, Claire took a seat on the nearby recliner and began to wonder about her own predicament. 

'I too need to be careful. I’ll be making a presentation at a religious etiquette school. One wrong move and I could be permanently screwed. And if that happens, Chloe will most likely be as well.’

Claire hoped that she would not be forced to see all the unfortunate littles that were confined in that facility. She only wanted to get in and get out as soon as she could. But what really worried her was about what Aisha told her about the dress code. She knew that some facilities had strict guidelines even for guests and that she had been lucky enough to avoid having to go to any of them to this point. And now she was about to enter the great abyss that could easily swallow her up.

“GOD DAMN THIS FEELS SO GOOD!” Chloe enjoyed every minute as she washed off every part of her body before exiting the shower and drying herself off. Chloe felt invigorated after drying her hair and putting on the spare panties she was given, she then looked over at herself in the mirror and felt a bit more positive about her body.

‘I just have to remind myself that this whole baby bullshit isn’t permanent. Claire has my back. And if I find out that my sister is alright and not a captive in this dimension, it will be worth it in the end!" 

Chloe did feel a bit irritated after taking a quick glimpse at her privates and seeing the results of Mia’s actions. Having her pubic hair forcefully removed was an act that Chloe would not forget for some time.

‘No matter what, I’m definitely getting therapy after I come back home!’

After exiting the bathroom, Claire watched as Chloe hopped on her bed and laid right beside her.

“You're looking much more carefree. Feeling like your old self again?"

“Damn straight!  Chloe stretched her arms out as she rested the back of her head on one of the pillows.

“I guess I’ll go and take a shower myself, do you want a nightgown to wear for the night?” Claire noticed that Chloe didn't mind being in just her underwear while around her.

“I’m good. In fact I’m probably going to take a short nap while you do your thing.” 

“Alright,  I'll order us some room service after I’m done, how’s that sound?” 

“As long as it's not in a bottle, I'm good. Get whatever you feel like. I’m gonna get some rest now.” Chloe closed her eyes with a smile on her face.

Claire sighed as she entered the bathroom and began to strip down herself. 

‘I hope Chloe will understand that this plan isn’t perfect, there obviously are loopholes regarding this rental program. This next week is going to be pivotal for the two of us. I just need to keep my head up and focus on the upcoming meeting!"

After spending a half hour in the shower, Claire took her time drying herself and then put on a nightgown before exiting the bathroom. Claire noticed that Chloe was soundly asleep on her bed while also sucking on her thumb at the same time.

“The side effects from that pacifier are really something. I guess I’ll let you sleep a bit longer and wake you when the food arrives. Tomorrow you are going to be meeting with your temporary amazonian parents. If you really go through this, it’s gonna be a rough week for you.” Claire pulled the covers over Chloe’s body as she grabbed her phone and began to call for room service while changing the channel on the television.

‘It’s the calm before the storm. I really hope everything goes as planned.’

Claire had a gut feeling that something vital was going to bring everything down upon her and Chloe. Claire didn’t like the foreboding feeling so she went and grabbed her trust flask and enjoyed the nice quick buzz from the hard liquor. A small personal escape from the cruel reality of the amazonian dimension.

I have a feeling that Mia is definitely going to become Claire's full-time mommy, which, realistically, is the best possible outcome for her at this point.

As for Chloe... so far, I am currently rooting for Mia to take in two cute little girls, because getting back to her home dimension does now seem feasible at this point either.

She is down for the count...For now. But it's not going to get any easier for the two portal littles

I've really wanted to bring in an etiquette school into a story and thought it would be neat to fit it into this. And Chloe and Claire are going to understand how ruthless (and adorable) the amazon dimension is.

Super chapter! I do have some questions though:

• etiquette school
  • Honestly, this does not seem realistic (within the story's rules, I mean, obviously): everything we've seen suggests that Claire is a valued employee. Why then would they risk sending her to that place? I mean anyone could make that presentation, and if there is a reason it has to be her, surely she could do it via the DD equivalent of Zoom. This seems to be totally illogical.
• Tanya
  • From everything both Claire and Chloe have seen and experienced, there doesn't seem to be any way for the sister to still be in the DD and not be adopted. Given that—I mean, the chances are microscopic—why should she take the risk?
• Star Wars
  • As they say in SW, "I've got a bad feeling about this." Claire, who has been here awhile, feels such a sharp sense of foreboding about both of their positions for the upcoming week, why in the world would she not try to do something about it? And why would she opt to keep Chloe in the dark, especially since she has realized the domino effect that would follow if something should happen to her?

Both of these women (but especially Claire) are certainly intelligent enough to recognize the danger they are putting themselves in. I think the best thing right now would be for them both to go back home.
