Can sex cause incontinence?

I am referring to anal sex here, but didn't want to put that in the title. I am DL by necessity and choice. I suffer bowel incontinence due to IBS, but also chose to wear diapers at other times as I like wearing them.

I am two weeks past a really bad flare up and yesterday decided i would prep for some hopeful weekend fun with the b/f by playing with my dildo. I was tight but i had fun. This morning though I had a bad accident. Fortunately I wore pull-ups last night just in case, but I had just stood up from the bed when I lost control. I now have the feeling like a flare up is upon me again.

Could the dildo play have caused this? I will be devastated if that is out of bounds now. Has anyone had any experience similar?

I doubt it:  If you are ALREADY bowel incontinent, you are using diapers by necessity and by choice to deal with it.  Using a dildo is not going to cause any issues by making the condition worse, because, in my mind, you already HAVE bowel incontinence, and IBS, and that is a CONDITION that is medical in nature, and one that you had previous to playing with toys.  You are going to be bowel incontinent and have IBS, but your dildo is just a toy, and I doubt that it makes it worse.  You may "feel" more sensitive to the need if you are "playing" but I doubt that the dildo makes it worse.

It sounds like it was another IBS flare up. Sorry you're having to deal with this. If you're worried or experiencing changes though, I'd recommend talking to your doctor about this, since it's about the function of your body.

I would say it’s possible if you stretch or damage your muscle but it may only cause slight leakage over time, people do use but plugs in slowly increasing in size to help weaken the anal muscles. 

 In rough sex it’s possible to do damage to your self, chances are if you are careful you will probably  be fine but always remember its always a possibility to weaken or damage your anal muscle if you are not careful.

NO anal sex and dildos will not make you bowel inco. You would be surprised as to how much the sphincter can stretch and shrink back to normal. External anal sphincter exercises can help to reduce leakage from the bowel. By exercising, the muscle should become thicker and stronger and give more support to the internal sphincter thus helping to prevent leakage. I exercise and jog as often as I can. Since I love anal sex, I must keep that muscle in tip top shape. Sit, stand or lie with your knees slightly apart. Slowly tighten and pull up the sphincter muscles as tightly as you can. Hold tightened for at least five seconds, and then relax for about four seconds. Repeat five times. I can squeaze my sphincter and give my partner an orgasm without her even thrusting one inch. For those that are bowel incontinent and still enjoy the occasional dildo these exercises work.

I doubt it would make it worse if you already had it. Unless you have been torn or something. Although I seen some of these so called porn stars with I guess rosebud is what they call it. Basically their colon coming out of there ass because they destroyed their asshole so bad theory colon wont even stay in them. . A prolapse I think they call it. I always wondered if they had to wear diapers to catch the shit they cant hold in. Now if you have something like that going on I would think maybe so. I guess they can occur from other reason naturally in people that strain to poop and stuff too. I dont know much on the subject to be honest. I just looked it up the first time I seen someone guts pop 6 inches out of their ass. Was not my cup of tea. Bit hey to each is own.
