trouble with firefox and dd board

im going to attempt to post a pic to show what my issue is, i normally use firefox to do my browsing, but i cant get the box to type to come up anymore, refer to the pic attached to see what i mean:

 

i had to go into google chrome to post this

That usually comes when you have JavaScript inhibited.    Make sure it is enabled and clean out the caches.

I use firefox, so it's not an issue on our end

I use Waterfox and have a ton of privacy extensions, works fine for me.

I have not had any problems typing in reply boxes.  I use Firefox, on a Mac, and I keep it up to date as best I can.  I had problems with older browsers, and usually it is because of changes in the way that scripts or extensions are handled.  I don't think I have anything extension wise enabled, so I should NOT be experiencing any troubles, and to date, I don't think I have seen any abnormalities

The place you type is a big hunka JavaScript called ckeditor.   Sometimes it a cached version gets caught in an update, and again, if JavaScript is i.nhibited by your security settings or whatever, it's not going to work.
