How is member rank determined or changed

I'm just wondering if the administrators assign a "rank" to members and how its determined. I started out ranked as a "Bedwetter" which I beleive was my choice but now my rank is "Diaper Pro" although I cant remember ever choosing this. My own self described identity is closer to being a bedwetter than a diaper pro but I'm not sure if or how I can change my rank on here.

Okay. So they are determined automatically and you cant change them back?

I though see some who have booster on there rank I know that you add that for the sake of showing others they are a booster.  Which is awesome.  Do you have the ability to change a rank yourself?

That would only be possible if the ability to add a custom to your profile was enabled:  If it was, you could then change the words above the "pips" to anything you want.

It is enabled for me.   Mine says "Cuddly."
