Toyboy
I hate bad grammar and I'm usually pretty good. But on the other hand I am a really bad speller and writer and get it rong all the time. It's most frustrating. To top it off I have a mild stutter and at times I can't get my mouth to work properly at times (mostly if I'm nervous )Sent from my SM-N910U using Tapatalk Link to comment

flapjackboy
Every time I hear or see an American say or write 'on accident' instead of 'by accident' it's like nails down a blackboard. Link to comment
WetDad
There is a big difference between "definitely" and "defiantly". Also, I strongly detest "manager-speak". This involves such treasures as "at the end of the day", and "for what its worth". Link to comment
willnotwill
"for what it's worth" its = possessive, belongs to it. it's = contraction, it is 1 Link to comment

PullUpDiaperLover
Mostly grammar pet peeves themselves annoy me. I hate picky people over grammar. That being said youngsters that use total run on sentences and digital speak drive me nuts. They will make a post that no one over 21 can possibly read. Even they may not. Its amazing what eliminating periods and commas does. 1 Link to comment
BabyJune
A woman without her man is nothing. or... A woman: Without her, man is nothing. Punctuation is powerful. A koala bear eats shoots and leaves is cute. A koala bear eats, shoots, and leaves is frightening. (Can a koala even use a gun?) Link to comment
willnotwill
My favorite is "Let's eat grandma" vs. "Let's eat, grandma." Today's annoying word misuse is people who use "except" when they mean "accept," as in "The teacher would except the note from my mother." 1 Link to comment
