pax87
Soo I'm possibly going to have my own room. my Mommy really wants paxy to have a play space. I don't want to overdo the littleness do it's not blaring in your face, but being 2 yrs old makes it a bit tricky. So it got got me thinking about what I want it to look like. I can't figure out, other than the hot wheels set you put on the wall, what I want in my room. My favorite color is all blues. I like dinosaurs, space ships, pirates, Legos, Nerf guns, superheroes, and hot wheels! So most likely it will have a hodgepodge of all that. Any ideas what you would put in your room? Link to comment

Rachel Emily
I already have plenty of dolls and stuffed animals, but if I had permission from my apartment manager to paint the bedroom walls, I'd paint them pink in a heartbeat. Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
Same here. You might consider wall hangings. They are like curtains for walls. You hang them up near the ceiling and they run the height of the walls. I also have my tiaras on shelves above the headboard (see my gallery) and I have my "Fairy Picture Fram" and I "Starflower tree" as well as my play table My Windows have pink hangings that substitute for light-filtering shades so that during the day it is bathed in pink light And of course all my dollies Jealous yet? Little BabyDoll Christine
For a 2 year old from 1986, maybe some blocks, stuffed dinosaurs, Care Bears, a large bear, a shape-sort toy Link to comment

Little BabyDoll Christine
I think Rachel Emily has hijacked this thread for the girls We always did have mre interesting bedrooms. Mostly boys' rooms were pretty gender-neutral and generic in color. Most decirations were for specific things like fan posters Now bedrooms, mostly girls' are becoming themed. This was not done 50-60 years ago. The colors told the tale and the dolls were objects of affection although most girs had a bride doll and the accessories were things she used http://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?showtopic=36100 Link to comment

lilkodalee
I am actually in the process of doing this now! Right now all I have are tons of plushies, some Nerf guns (which aren't much fun by yourself), some Sock Em Bop Em gloves (which also are not much fun by yourself) and that's about it. I want to get some Hotwheels cars and some tracks to play with them on! And also Legos and Lincoln Logs because building things are fun! And I would really like to get a train set too! And if I had someone to play with, the Nerf swords would be awesome! Link to comment

Little BabyDoll Christine
I did not like Lincoln Logs and most kids didn't, I was a huge fan of TinkerToy and Block City building blocks https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=block+city+building+blocks Link to comment
