Was just watching an episode of Emergency! that I remember seeing decades ago when it was new.

Back then action shows weren't as realistic as some are now. I mean, the earliest Dr Who shows sometimes had spaceships crossing the screen- and you could clearly see the string they used to hold them up! That didn't keep it from being a hit show though, same as "Emergency!" but it was far more well-done than the Dr.

Believe me, I went from Maryland which had perhaps the premier EMS system in the country to NJ which was in the dark ages.

I loved the show as a kid
