Do People Notice?

Recommended Posts

Would anyone who isn't AB/DL even notice or think that someone was wearing a nappy/diaper?

I mean I quite often sit and people watch and will look to see if I can spot if anyone is wearing a nappy (never seen one btw!) but someone that isn't into this sort of thing would never in a million years cross their mind that someone is wearing a diaper?

true or not?

Definitely true. Heck, there've been times when I've met other people that I knew were AB's and it still didn't occur to me that they were wearing diapers. A few months ago I went to a "munch" for ageplayers, with about seven or eight people present; I tried to guess which of them were wearing diapers and which weren't, and in several cases I guessed wrong.

I've never noticed diapers on a person in a non-AB environment, except for one woman who was profoundly disabled.

I don't think anyone except for my wife (who's gotten highly attuned to the rustling sound) has ever noticed them on me. If they have, they were certainly very discreet about it.

I've heard stories a few times from other infantilists about people figuring it out. I suspect some of the stories were fantasies. Most of the rest were people being really blatant about it--dressing in baby clothes or in a too-short skirt or something. If your diapers aren't visible and you don't call attention to them, most people won't even notice anything odd, much less guess what the odd thing is.

No body ever said anything to me, and when I'm diapered it's obvious, I'm a small guy and the puffy rear end is sometimes there and sometimes it isn't.

I go to almost the same places everday, and see just about the same people, and no one has ever said anything, I think they do not care, what I wear for underwear.

And that is the way i like it.

Most people on the street wouldn't even think about you wearing a diaper.......especialy if you're under 60, lol. I reckon they would only notice if they actually saw a flash of it. Even being a bit puffy probably wouldn't make them think of diapers, not unless it was excessive.

Several years ago I was standing in the returns lane at Home Depot, wearing an Attends under my jeans, which gave my rear that "no butt crack" look. A college-aged girl got in line behind me, and maybe 2 minutes later I hear her chuckling loudly about something. Had she noticed my bulge? I pretended that I didn't hear her, but secretly got a little rush from the possibility.

But I generally agree. People just don't expect that kind of thing. I try to go "diaper spotting" when I'm in a public place, but it's been a long time since I've had an unmistakable sighting.

It's amazing what people don't notice. I've worn thick nappies around friends and family and no-one has ever said anything. My wife knows about my nappies and sometimes I'll be wearing a Tena Slip under my PJs and she won't notice until I show her! If someone close to you doesn't notice, I think we can safely walk the streets in thick wet nappies :D

People rarely notice anything beyond their own little world. Folks are too caught up in their own lives to worry about wether or not someone just happens to be wearing a diaper.

The only people that MIGHT notice is the people you see every day. Especially if you switch between wearing and not wearing around them. They might be more observant to the subtle changes that go on in a friends life rather than a complete stranger would.

yeah im very paranoid about diapers, but i work a small bambino on a 6 hour train trip and people didn't seem to notice. I even changed in the bathroom. I really don't think people notice or care unless they're also diaper lovers or simply cruel enough to point it out and ask. Also, how many people would really suspect anyone under 60 without a noticeable disability would be wearing a diaper? Its not something people really care about, and even if they do suspect, they probably won't see any proof, and when are you really going to see that person again...especially in a city.

I do agree however to the friends and family thing...they're the ones who are more capable of spotting becasue they know you very well and can pick up subtle differences in your appearance and personality.

It is true next to no one cares about anyone other than themselves when out in public. In my personal opinion, the 3 major reasons people probably would notice people wearing diapers are from disability, sound of the diaper "crinkle", or just being blatent about the diaper. If you are disabled no one cares what you wear at all and if you are being blatent about it you need to be shot.

The thing that bugs me is the crinkle. Here is something that maybe some of you can answer for me along the lines of people being able to notice the diapers: Since you are wearing the diaper does it sound louder to you because you are wearing it or is it that loud to others around you as well?

I have heard it doesn't sound as loud to others but I just don't know.

I've never been noticed just out and around in town while wearing a diaper. I've had a few close calls while I was changing in a bathroom stall, but in the standard parts of walking around, no one has ever said anything to me. This includes a 14 hour plane flight where i had to change in the plane's bathroom twice. No one notices or even really cares. Unless you're being really obvious about it, they arn't going to notice.

Just wear discreet ones without alot of sound and you'll be in good shape.

The last time, that I was in the hospital, I attempted to wear boxers over my diaper. Since I was there for knee surgery, I was directed to remove the boxers. I was there in the OR in just a diaper. Nobody seemed to care.

It's definitely louder to you than anyone else, because you're closer and because you know it's there and are listening for it and worrying about it.

Depending on the brand of diaper, it may be loud enough that other people can hear it--but very few of them will recognize the sound as a diaper. They'd be more likely to assume it's your clothing, or something you're carrying; for instance, an empty plastic bag in your pocket will make a similar sound.

My wife has gotten attuned to it. On occasion I'll put on a diaper without telling her, and the next time I walk anywhere near her she'll pat me on the butt and say "rustle rustle rustle". But she's the only one who's ever seemed to notice at all--and only because she's listening for it.

Wearing diapers / nappies under your clothes will NOT be noticed by anyone except the most observant and he/she has to be extremely close to you. The reason for this is that it it not human nature to look at someone else's genital area, and even if they do, they are not around you when you are without a diaper for a basis to compare.

I wear 24/7/365 and the only one that ever noticed, and even had to question me a few times to check that I was wearing, was my wife. I remember an occasion when I was shopping (wearing a messy diaper) where there was a few women pushing their babies in chairs etc, and each checked by smell if their child was needing a change when one women apologized to the other shoppers saying it was her child that was causing the smell.

Everyone that you meet (except someone who you is extremely close to you) do not know the actual size of your butt or your genital area, so the extra padding a diaper makes is only noticeable to you. Even the smell of a wet/soiled diaper will not give you away unless you are in a place where babies / toddlers do not frequent.

However, a leaking diaper will instantly get you noticed as half moon wet patches on your butt OR a wet chair after you stand are a dead giveaway. Avoid leaks at all costs by wearing a cloth training pant and a pair of plastic pants over your disposable.

* All the above is true once you do not wear clothes to overemphasis your diapered state. *

People almost never notice. I've worn diapers under tight jeans, the worst thing that's happened is a friend told me i had VPL's (visible panty lines). For a guy I guess it might be different, but then again they can explain a crotch bulge! I find tight jeans and a t-shirt can conceal both noise and visual evidence (like the waistband). I once had to pop in at work to drop off some food to a friend and nobody noticed I had on a wet bambino under my clothes. Mind you at the time I was an exotic dancer, and several customers recognized and spoke to me. When I walk in that place, people look, and you KNOW they had to be looking at my backside when I left lol. On the other hand though, one of my best customers from back then became one of my very best friends and I told him about the diapers after I quit, now he can spot one on me 99% of the time. But no, most people are rather oblivious to lots of things. They just don't notice, nor do they really care.

most people just dont care. they're too busy with thier cell phone or ipod to notice the owlrd around them. i rarely wear around my hometown because the social ostracism that would follow an "out" would be horrific. i have worn in the wintertime under a couple layers when nobody notices if youre a littel bulky. they just assume its thermal underwear.

most casino goers wear actually, aside from elderly that is. Mohegan sun and foxwood sell depends in the bathrooms.

I heard that. Don't want to leave the table or slot just when you're gettin' hot. For a bathroom break? Let somebody else sit down and take your odds while you're away? Hah! No way I'm letting some schmoe steal my seat. When I'm on a roll it's. "Let it ride!" Yeah, baby. Yeah! Even if it means leaving rainbow stains on the furniture when I decide to cash out.

Yup, doesnt surprise me that alot of folks wear at the casinos even if they wouldnt dream of it otherwise. Makes me wonder how absolutely desperate they would have to be before they wet the diaper though....I remember what it was like the first few times for me.

Never been at a casino myself, but I would definitely be wearing if and when I did! Can't afford to take breaks when your luck gets hot!

hell i went to a rob zombie concert one time and wore a pullup to it and hell it was padded with one of my inserts and no one even noticed not even the friend i was with didn't notice the bulk. But like others said no one really notices or cares about your underwear unless YOU make a big deal out of it

Most people i highly doubt are looking for someone to have a diaper on. If your being obvious with giant fluffy diapers or some real noise makers then yea good chance they will notice. But most people wont say anything if they do notice, they'll just make fun of you behind your back.
