I wear tranquility all through the night diapers but they don't always help. So I also have a soaker pad like you would find at a hospital under me at night. Also I still haven't taken off the plastic from when I bought my mattress LOL

I am currently registered with the cnib and I have being since I was very small. And when I was a child nothing like this really bugged me even when I was teased at school. however things began to change in high school when I noticed my real limitations and how fast are my peers were moving as opposed to me. plus people in general will just lie straight to your face even if you can see properly and I do get a ton of help. my phone is the best thing that has ever happened to me, I wish this technology existed when I was younger it would have made school a whole lot easier LOL. I do currently see a counselor and he understands why I have anxiety about this particular thing. because of the way I was raised I was basically told that I was no different from anyone else and therefore could do anything and be anything, I believe that until high school.Unfortunately visual impairment isn't my only disability there's four or five other things that stop me living a normal life.unfortunately there is also been times where nurses or other people would ask me directly why I have incontinence who changes me and all that jazz. So instead of answering 20 questions, I choose to do a lot of things myself and I'm usually very independent. which is kind of a killer because there's no way I could be completely independent I need help with many things, even basic things like shopping. But that's not what this discussion is about I do feel shame when I mess and that's what this discussion was about thank you for that comments and the suggestions I will put some of them into practice for sure I feel truly respected and listen to hear thank you very very much.

Wow, this actually helps quite a bit. However I do suffer from general anxiety due to the fact that I can't see very well and therefore cannot discern faces, and it's hard for me to figure out exactly what people are thinking. therefore I obviously assumed more than what's actually going on but I am totally going to give this a try thank you ?

I do not feel shame when I pee however when I mess it's a different story because more people can usually tell that you have to wear these things. Even in the hospital when I'm asked if I need changing I don't like that either. My friend suggested I come here to try to find comfort in it.like a couple of you this is been a lifelong thing and I still get embarrassed about it. Probably because I was teased relentlessly for it. and no I don't really understand why somebody would want this it's not fun, especially when you have diaper rash there's no breaks for me.

Warner says in animaniacs at the very end about feeling all warm and squishy either that or she needs diapers LOL.

I personally have always understood that the Bible clearly says that man sleeps until Christ's return and then we rule here on Earth for 1000 years and then are taken to heaven. believe it or not everybody in the whole world whether they believe or not, will be given that chance for themselves to see God and to the side right then and there if they believe. Unfortunately we are not and cannot be judged by our works alone. All you can do is pray for this man and hope that he finds Christ himself maybe you can talk to him about it.
