  1. Short answer: An ABDL convention Long answer: (TLDR at bottom) After Teddycon declared bankrupcy, AB Universe offered to buy their "company" (for lack of a better word) and converted it to "ABU Invasion". Supposedly, anyone who bought a ticket for Teddycon 2020 or 21 has a $120 credit towards this new event although I'm not sure how it would compare because this is ABU's first time organizing such an event. For those that have not heard, the main reason for Teddycon being gone is because after most of the tickets for their 2021 convention were already sold, they were bullied into adopting a vaccine mandate against the will of many of their prospective attendees. Many of whom made it clear (and I verified this myself) that 1. there was no vax requirement ititially, 2. The virus can still spread in a fully vaccinated population (citing countries such as Israel which implemented a nationwide vaccine mandate and still had new outbreaks afterwards), and 3. Other entertainment venues such as Six Flags did not require proof of vax. This was around Sept. 2021. The TC staff were more or less prohibited from giving refunds or an option of showing a negative covid test in leiu of a vax card when attendees spoke up that they were uncomfortable with the new policy. Not surprisingly, the event was cancelled and given the situation and uncertainty surrounding it, the TC organizers decided it was time to call it quits with TC as a whole. The above narrative was taken from primary sources, I'm sure there's others here who read about this when it happened but for those who have not it's here so you can see the other side of the story. There's a lot of talk among pro-vax people about what event organizers should do and/or require but they tend to leave out a lot of details. TLDR: Teddycon was forced to change their rules for their 2021 convention. It was a disaster. They sold their "business" to ABU who made the "ABU Invasion".
  2. Also if this helps with your bugdet you may be able to get discounts/credits for public transit due to having a certified "You're Broke(n)!" statement. (Check for both low income options and medical situation options, some juristictions have a seperate discount for each.) Definitely try and get Medicaid if you don't already have it, you can have it on top of disability payments.
  3. I'd think if someone tried to drive off with the whole ATM it would set off all kinds of alarms. "The prime rate was lowered last week, guys!"
  4. I'm organizing an in-person D&D campaign in Columbus Ohio! This is a 5th edition homebrewed campaign that is designed to be beginner friendly. Several sets of dice and a Players Handbook provided, you don't need to buy anything to participate. To prevent the possible tracing of DD members' real life activity with their postings on the site, the location and dates/times are available via PM or in the Real Life Meetups club, Edit 5/3/23: Due to a lack of interest last week, I'm going to have to cancel for now. I'd still love to do something in-person as there hasn't been such an event organized on DD in forever. Anyone with ideas feel free to share.
  5. I'd be up for hanging out.
  6. The US economy can't sustain itself and we're now coming to realize it. That's why inflation is such an issue.
  7. Found out about a relatively new abdl company that makes D&D themed diapers. https://kitnitiative.com/products/adventure-puffs-diapers Although there's also Dependeco and waddlebutt.fun which could make a D&D themed diaper if you ask.
  8. Intrestingly, had astrological based timekeeping/positoning still been in common practice today, there wouldn't be such issues; stellar drift occurs at a much slower rate than modern computer issues do and even at that there's a workaround dating back to ancient India. Note however that I don't consider astrology a vaild science, only the timekeeping methods that arose with it. "Vedic (Jyotiṣa) and Western zodiacs differ in the method of measurement. While synchronically, the two systems are identical, Jyotiṣa primarily uses the sidereal zodiac (in which stars are considered to be the fixed background against which the motion of the planets is measured), whereas most Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac (the motion of the planets is measured against the position of the Sun on the spring equinox)." Conclusion: Computers have made us lazy.
  9. No worries, we all have mental health challenges in this day and age it seems.
  10. Bought 2,397 AA batteries for her electric vehicle only to realize that it uses button batteries instead. The user manual didn't specify how many.
  11. And this is why I always say society is better off without such technology.
  12. It depends on their rates, how long of a session you're inquiring about, or other factors (for example, some will charge more for changing poopy diapers or things like that). Generally ranges from a few hundred dollars to $2000+. Any hard limits, such as "no sex" or "no BDSM activities that are illegal according to the state/city/current political faction/etc" have to be disclosed as well. All of this infromation should be available on the pro dom's website or social media page or on a paper the pro dom gives you.
  13. A hare brained ninkupoop. Is the password to Gru's secret lair still "La Cucaracha"?
  14. Because they washed them in the gene pool. Do snowmowers work on grass?
  15. It's time to recognize that context is a thing. Yes, most people have sexual interests of some form or another. No, most people do not talk about them in front of children. The presenter was following this same logic far as I could tell. By comparison, one could say that any events regarding christianity should be banned or advised for "mature audiences only" because christians have a habit of murdering LBGTQ people, Native Americans, etc.
  16. Accidentally deleted the .physicsreplacement files that operate most maglev trains in the EU.
  17. The US federal government currently has $34.1 trillion of debt, has access to huge swathes of the private sector and yet hasn't been able to keep itself afloat. Compare that to the pandemic era, when many anti-solidarity laws were in effect, the vast majority of people needing help ultimately got assistance from the community, not programs like SNAP, Medicaid, etc. That's saying something. The US would probably do just fine without the IRS.
  18. The Bible was also complied about 1700 years ago (at the Council of Trent in the 4th century AD, one can look this up to verify) at a time when not having enough children to carry on the population was a big problem. Society has changed since then, the old "thou shall not masturbate" generally serves to cause harm, not good.
  19. Have you considered posting some pictures of the diapers you've saved? There was another user on a different site who did something similar which was cool.
  20. I'm not but I'm sure there's others who are. I used to be christian but the congregation I used to be a part of turned toxic and made it clear that nobody's opinion was welcome except the far right. So if you get any grief from christians it's possible they're just saying it to avoid backlash from their own congregation. My view is that each person's spiritual beliefs are their own and if you're happy as a pagan and not infringing on anyone that is perfectly fine.
  21. I'm surprised Tykables would make social media ads that prominent, especially ones that are obviously tailorered towards the ABDL market. Pretty sure health information is supposed to be legally protected in the US.
  22. Is the "bottom secret" drawer where you keep your diapers?
  23. Like @oznlsaid, if you can find a manual somewhere it might give you some clues as to what's going on. From my experience however it's usually a bad sign if it doesn't start up but it could still be good, don't give up just yet.
