I wear diapers 24/7 but only use them for #1. #2 is not my thing.

Well it kept them busy and off the streets, other than that totally useless

No dripping or leaking I have to pee more often so I’ll stay diapered. In the beginning once I take the stent out I might have to pee like every 15 minutes, these intervals increase rapidly. In the beginning you could call it urge incontinence, I wouldn’t be able to make it to the toilet if the urge hits but like I said it doesn’t last long. Needless to say I have been following Reddy`s topic and the stories from Bobby Brown with great interest, and at times it even felt appealing, but it is something wouldn’t do for multiple reasons. First of all, I wouldn’t be able to get the funds together to do so, it is quite expensive. From what I have been reading it kind of struck me it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing as strictures caused issues. If I understood it all correctly they needed a couple of surgical interventions to get the job properly done. Maybe they knew it needed more than one intervention, that I do not know. Traveling from the Netherlands is quite a trip might be a ten hour flight, doesn’t come cheap either. The stent I use has the same effect there is absolutely no way I can go without diapers and it is insanely cheap. It took quite a while to get it just about right but now that I found the exact measurements it doesn’t bother me a bit. I adjusted the measurements of my stent in very small steps sometimes as little 3 millimeters (1/8”). Nowadays if it starts to hinder it is simply an indication that it needs cleaning, and these intervals vary. In the end if I were to spend 10 euro`s ($12) per year on materials to make stents it is a lot, as I only use two stents per year. Never had a UTI over the years, I cant see it as the retrieval line and the O-ring at the end of the retrieval line are hidden under my foreskin. Last but not least if I need to take it out for another reason than cleaning, one might call it cheating, it can be done knowing thing will be back to normal in one or two days at the most.

I have been using my stent just about 24/7 for the last 11 years and if I take it out things will return to normal within one or two days depending on how long I kept it in. Like Cathdiap said it will not render you incontinent if it did, I would be by now.

Back in the days the thing to use were cloth diapers. As I had no funds to pay for cloth diapers and plastic pants, nor did I know they had diapers and plastic pants in sizes that would fit me my options were limited, I stole a lot when ever is had the chance. Caused a lot of stress and always weight heavy on me, luckily was never caught, the desire to wear was so much stronger in the end it was worth the risk and stress.

For me the perfect length of the stent is 10 cm about 4”. I tried different measurements but it seems I always come back to this particular length. The one thing I do know for a fact if the stent is too long and the exit ends up in the urethra it causes a heck of a lot discomfort. So for me it is mandatory to make sure the end of the stent ends up in the bulbous. Furthermore I think it is important to go with a certain design that feels good to you and stick with it until you tried all options. In order to see if you made the right choice for a specific design, whether you took a concept of another member or if you came up with something yourself, make just one alteration at a time otherwise you will not know what the impact of the changes are. In all fairness, I took the design of Cathdiap many, many years ago and gave it my own twist. Nowadays it looks different from the one I first made, I call it progress and that is just fine, the basics are still there. I can keep it in for days if not weeks in a row without causing discomfort, unless you call wet diapers a discomfort.

Personally I prefer cloth diapers and wear them whenever the circumstance allows me to do so, you can double them, triple them to whatever thickness you like. A disposable can be made bulkier with a booster with ease and I think a double diaper is a total waste of diapers and to a extend an unnecessary strain on landfills.

Why do I desire incontinence? that is good question. For about as long as I can remember I’ve had this feeling. I have strong memories going back to the age of three years old, I wanted and preferred to wear diapers and use them for their intended purpose, only for number one. I also felt free to ask my mom and she allowed me to wear diapers if I wanted too, yet, I was not allowed to use them as I was already potty trained by that time. This could continue until I was eight years old and then things changed all of a sudden, I could no longer wear diapers and I no longer felt free to ask for them. This meant I was forced the wear diapers secretly which by itself caused a numerous problems, disposables were not really a thing back then aside of that I preferred cloth anyway, still do. My allowance was insufficient to buy plastic pants and cloth diapers so I had to be creative which wasn’t always easy being eight / nine years old. Wearing diapers made me feel complete and I felt this is how it is supposed to be in the first place. Needless to say I always felt different growing up. Many years later I was well in my thirties I learned that I wasn’t the only one with this rather strange desire. As I got access to internet a new world opened up for me, that was well over twenty seven years ago. Now having access to the internet I learned a lot it also came with a down side, feelings and desires I had suppressed over the years resurfaced I ways in couldn’t imagine. I was in a relationship when I learned I wasn’t the only one with these feelings. My now ex-wife seemed to accept my desire to wear and use my diapers. Here I made a big, big mistake I didn’t pay enough attention to her feelings and thoughts, eventually she kicked me out. In general I ordered my diapers and plastic pants on-line by a company called Saveexpress in Germany, they have a large inventory and supply just about everything one could possibly ask for as an ABDL. I placed a new order and although Save is very accurate something went wrong this time around, a box with catheters and some other stuff was shipped along with the items I did order. Once again this opened a complete new world for me. All of a sudden I found a way to wet my diaper without having control, once over I felt complete and thing were as they are supposed to be. This didn’t last too long, catheters made me wet my diaper good and desirable as it was it wasn’t real enough as I couldn’t feel myself pee, shortly after I learned how to make stents and that is what I have been using for the last two decades without issues. I did follow the topics of Bobby Brown, Reddy and Ferix with great interest and it sounds very appealing to me. I will never be able to get the funds to go that way and I doubt I will have the nerve to get surgery and become incontinent although the desire is still lingers on. I have no idea what causes my incontinence desire for I feel it has always been there. Wearing and wetting my diapers makes me feel complete, but I will stick with stents as they do the trick quite nicely.

I wear 24/7, also to work. It takes some planning in the beginning but once you have it all figured out it is no big deal. I keep my diapers in my locker and if it is time to chance I’ll take one out and I’ll change my diaper in one of the stalls.

Plastic pants

I would start a range of plastic pants just like the ones I wore as a baby and toddler. White or yellow color, both in a pull-up style and front snap closures, fully welded. Very important, most important as a matter of fact a grainy or textured type of vinyl, that is where they we made out off here in Europe at least the ones I wore. Nowadays they next to impossible to find and the ones I still have are at the end of their life span. I keep them around for I can’t dispose of them. I would love to replace them for new ones

The sense of security wearing cloth diapers is key, at least for me it is. I feel that cloth diapers provide better absorbency in every position regardless if you are sleeping on you side, back or stomach. They will absorb and distribute your urine all over the diaper.

For me it is plain and simple, no cloth diaper and plastic pants no sleep. Even if I wear a disposable diaper I will have a hard time falling asleep.

Yes I did and still do as a matter of fact, I absolutely love the feel of plastic pants over my cloth diaper. Preferably new plastic pants with a grainy texture in the color white. I love every sensory aspect of it, the looks, the feel, the sound and the smell.

Plain white as far as disposables go and if I wear a cloth diaper I'll wear white or yellow plastic pants. Other colours don't do it for me.

To be honest diapers can use a lot of my mental band width. That said, I found a way to keep it under control so it doesn’t control my thoughts or intervenes with my daily tasks. I stay diapered 24/7 and adjusted my life accordingly. Now it is just part of my daily routine just like regular underwear to somebody else.

I have been following this thread with great interest ever since I joint Daily Diapers. I wear and use my stent 24/7 and to be honest I find it quite comfortable and does the job quite well. I can keep it in days if not weeks in a row and I only have to take it out to clean because minerals, salts, you name it start to build up and they will clog my stent in the end which causes discomfort. How is that with your design is that also the main reason if not the only reason to take it out? To me that is one of the major downsides on my design or maybe stent use in general, build-up of waste over time. For sure I am open to improvement on my stent. If your design doesn’t have the same problem as I have with mine I might go back to the drawing board it would prove to be a big step forward.

I wear 24/7 regardless of circumstance

For me option three. I am quite happy with my stent, I use it 24/7 and leaves me without any control. For sure it would be nice if I didn’t need a stent to lose urinary control but despite all other things I’ve tried my continence is as strong as ever. Although from time to time very tempting I would not cause harm to an otherwise healthy body to reach my goal and become incontinent. I would consider a memocath if I could find a urologist to install it and keep track of its proper function, I do not consider using a memocath causing bodily harm.
