I ordered mine late last Wednesday. I received my case of mediums today. It came in a plain brown box. No handles cut out in the sides, believe it or not a company said they shipped discreet and when I received the case yes the box was turned inside out but I could read Attends on the bags through the handles. Back to the original topic..... There is a label on the side that just says Secure Personal Products.... thats it... So I changed as soon as I got home and opened the package. All I can say is WOW. The tape landing zone is about as babyish of a design you will find on a diaper that is not geared solely to an AB. I've wet heavily twice and this one does it's job. If not for the extra warmth on my bottom I would of thought this was a nice fresh diaper. The material isn't falling to the low point when I walk like Abena's do. I know it's only my first test with them but I love them so far. One drawback or a plus for some like me. The plastic backing is pretty quiet, no crinkle when I walk.

OHH!! Can't wait.... just ordered a case based on reviews. Sounds like just the diaper this little one needs, afordable, anonamous during the day, keep my pants dry and sleep comfotable without the fear of babies dribble leaking out of the sides.... Hope this is the 24/7 diaper I've been looking for. I'll let you all know after this diaper has been AB tested..... Now back to my reguarly schedualed leaker..... I mean Depends(Ironic name ain't it?)

Interesting read here.... There are things you could never imagine. I've been a AB/DL for years now and always thought it would be great to be incontinent. Be careful what you wish for. I've had several side effects of being a diabetic for 31 years lately, luckily not kidney failure but sever infections that have taken it's toll (hopefully not for long) and I'm incontinent now. AB's don't look at the whole situation (myself included when I was wishing it would be nice to have no control). I know you touched on it. It's not cheap. I found that the Equiline brand diapers can be found on sale for about $8. They work a little better for me than Depends. Where I'm at the only diapers you can get in stores are Depends and store brands. All the store brands sucks except the Equiline brand. I really don't see why the stores carry their generics. I need to change myself every 2-3 hours and even then I make sure to have a change of pants handy for those times when I leak and have a damp crotch. I just found out about Abri's and ordered some different types to see how well they work. From what I've read it seems they hold alot, hopefully I can strech the time between changing’s. Let me say for guy’s (I can't imagine females have it any better), changing a diaper in the bathroom is not a psychologically friendly experience, not to mention sleeping. I will guarantee leaks during the night with the products you buy at the store. I have to use a doubler at night. Now don't forget to include into the budget wipes for cleaning up and products to deal with rashes(hey these are the hidden cost you don't think about(these are not role play things but necessities. Luckily I work at a smaller hospital where everyone knows each other and the ER staff are just incredible. They are very understanding, supportive and have a locker set aside and let me be by myself in the locker room when I need to use it. I don't know what I would do if I worked else ware. Some other things to consider. My freinds know I have a problem but when I talk or email with them the most common thing I hear is "What's up? I haven't seen you in a long time" Changing your diapers at as friend house is not fun. Don't forget about buying chair/bed pads to save your furniture and finding a girlfiend that wants to be with someone that has a bladder control problem. Just some things to think about from my experience... I'm not judgeing cause being an AB, I've been there and thought that, but UI (god bless the bowel incontinent, I can only imagine the isolation you're going through) is not the fun play in the park you may fantasize about.. About a year and a half ago I started getting the sudden urge to go and I'd have maybe 10 seconds to get to the bathroom, but in the last few months I've had some other health issues come up and I constantly dribble along with completely voiding. Sometimes I can feel it sometimes I can't, either way if I notice I'm voiding no matter how hard I try to stop I can't.

Keep being positive, ignore those that are negative and let them live thier lives in self-pity. You will find out who your "real" friends are, and in the end you will help others along the way.

Jennifer....don't let it get you that upset. It's easy for people to bully others in a forum when they can hide behind a computer screen. It's nothing new on the WWW. One of the sites I visit every day is a drag racing site. It's easy for them to rip on a team and say unfounded things but when one of the owners comes on and calls them out... guess what????? They shrivle up and change thier tone. Hang in there, your friends will understand and the rest...well you are what you are, you can't change it.

To me diaper punishment is forced into diapers against your will for humiliation purposes. I think alot of people mistake diaper punishment with diaper disipline. Kind of a fine line between the 2. For example I often need diapers when I have urge incontinace. Wearing diapers is not a big deal then. I need to wear them from time to time, but being forced to wear them at all times, for all bodily functions like a baby is diaper discipline to me. Now say I was forced to wear diapers 24/7 but before going out was given a supository to ensure a soiled diaper in public for the sake of humiliation, then verbaly abused in front of strangers for pooping in my diaper.... that to me would be diaper punishment. I guess the diferance in my mind is one is diapers 24/7 but discrete and the other is diapered 24/7 with public humiliation. just my $.02

Yes diapers are convienent for my frequint wetting accidents but have saved me from cleaning up b/m's in my clothing more than a few times. While I do enjoy the baby side of diapers, pooping in them for me sometimes are a necessity(my stomach isn't right and sometime I have a loose bowle). Yes it does stink and I am very aware that others in the area will know. This mostly happens while I'm driving and the end result is usually running into the bathroom, trying not to be noticed and cleaning up a mess. For me baby wipes are a must, otherwise you'll be there for a while cleaning yourself with toilet paper.

I haven't had iincontinence to your point but,I had a bladder infection a few years back that settled in (sorry to be graphic) my testicles,that caused my right testicle to swell to over 8 inches. It started out with me thinking I had the flu then that cleared up but I kept wetting myself(urge inconitance I was later told) I ended up a few days later in the ER. My urologist did say that bladder infections were common in diabetics and don't be surprised to get one again. I would suggest seeing a different doctor. On a side note, when this happened I was on vacation in Tennesse staying at a freinds house.After the doctor saw my underwear with the yellow stains in it, she suggested for me to try wearing some pullup's till I was better(boy I love brutal honesty from a doctor). Since then I had another infection in December and since then I have been experiancing frequint periods of urge incontinence.

At first I though "Duh the name is pretty obvious" I thought about my screen name a bit and after wetting a few times it hit me. There's more of a deeper thought to the name and it's more of my desire. I am here in a wet diaper that is starting to leak. Yes I do need a diaper change, but when I'm diapered my infant side tends to overestimate my diapers capacity and how quickly I need my diaper changed, Soooo instead of saying "I need to change my diaper" I am saying I want to find someone that will check my diapie and change it when neccasary. hmm how's that for a psycological breakthrough on my 2nd post here?
