These commercials have been running in my area for awhile and being available in grey is big deal , the real big issue with these commercials is that finally its not a guy that is ready to go to the grave its a younger hiper (if thats a word) kind of guy closer to our ages rather than our perents or grand parents. This may sound stupid from an incontinent person but no i would not want my bladder control back here is the reason: With the Diseases i have my muscles are destroyed by not using them , but they are destroyed 3 X's faster by using them so if i was fully continent again from the time that i became incontinent i would at this point probably have lost my ability to stand and pivot to transfer to the toilet or to bed or to a vehicle etc so then instead of being incontinent with limited mobility i would be "functionally incontinent" and have NO MOBILITY , Functional incontinence occurs when you are physically incapable of answering natures call due to physical disease or defect (such as not being able to transfer from your wheelchair to the toilet and disrobing before you pee your pants). I being incontinent and disabled i'm sure puts a whole different spin on things but i have Personal Care Aides that are paid by the state to come to my home and assist me with ADL's (Activeties of Daily Living) and this includes should i need it changing my diaper.I have so far not needed any help from any of my PCA's but i have multiple degenerative Neurological and Neuromuscular diseases so the time will come when i will have to adjust to the idea of someone doing it for me , so heres an idea how about some of you AB/DL's giving me suggestions on how to cope with that when it comes (as in how to lay there and like it basicly) any ideas i would love to hear them !!
