  1. Hia Sophie and everyone else There is alot of great info here, very accurate also. That explanation of Vcast pak and the insurance is right on! I just had to replace my old phone after being warranty replaced 4 other times. The Verizon Wireless ppl made an exception for me and allowed me an early upgrade with being allowed to keep my "credit". I do so much texting I wanted a nice keypad with a larger lit number pad. I wanted a nice camera and not a slide phone. My previous phone was a first generation "chocolate" phone. GRRRR it was JUNK, but at the time of purchase it was touted to be the latest and greatest, LOL I fell for that. I know several ppl that had many problems with that first generation chocolate model. I looked at the Dare and the Voyager. Too much screen for me and I didn't want an open up "keyboard" type pad. I went with a chocolate3, it resembles a Razor. I love the thing! So easy to text on, pix have great clarity and sound is excellent. It holds so many "quick text" lines vs. the old generation chocolate. I don't do the web, navigator, games or music thing so in essence they are wasted features to me. I pay for unlimited text and opted for the $5.99 warranty. After my front screen cracked on the new phone (probably my own fault), it was an impact crack likely from pressing or leaning on the screen. My other phone had a different style screen on the front. I was told by the VZ staff that in 2006 a softer screen became the industry standard but it is much more clearer performance. The manufacturers chose quality over durabilty. The first style Razors were the first to come out with it now they are all using that screen (Motorola, Samsung, & LG) so be careful. That promted me to get the insurance because I wanted to be safe rather then sorry. I am usually good with my gadgets but in this case the phone is a must and I have it with me everywhere, I was shocked that in only three day my front screen was cracked, knowing I am good with them! It even will replace the phone if it is lost. I was told that there is a $50 deductable regardless of the phone or the cause for replacement. I love Verizon Wireless, many of my ppl are on it, my plan isn't a big minute package but I call "in the network" most of the time. I have many contacts from NE to east of the Mississippi USA so I do great with that coverage. "that is all for my Verizon commercial", LOL

...yes, YAY for you Jake!!! That was a great story, so happy that it worked out for you. Now enjoy and "slowwwww' down with her, only go as fast and as far as she wants. Sounds as if you both found a wonderful change to the hoohumm routine. Many of us envy you. I am curious to know if she knows that you do the Daily Diapers site thing? Wishing you well Huggie

  6. Happy Birthday to you; Happy birthday to you; Happy Birthday dear Tigger, Happy Birthday to you, YAY (what a great voice I have, LOL). I hope your day is special - Enjoy!!! Have a Happy Birthday and may you enjoy many, many more! Huggie
  7. Anondl no you are not having a mid life crisis! You just plain ole got the message that life is too short! Riding a bike is a wonderful awakening to what the world has to offer. I have been riding all my life but to explain to one that hasn't is a waste of breath; from reading your post you got the message. Get out there and get a bike ... I suggest go big twin, you rode back in the day, you don't forget how to ride and I think it is safe to say that you are much smarter now then back in your younger days so a Road King, Road Glide, Street Glide. or the Road Glide are fine. You can handle an Ultra classic too if you can handle those but that is a big step after being off a bike for awhile due to the extra weight and higher center of gravity. A touring bike is the thing, I have a softail and touring bike the touring is the one with comfort as well as style. FYI the 2009's came out last week. BTW I ride in western NC every year. I love the Tail of the Dragon www.tailofthedragon.com NC is a great state to ride as is Eastern & Middle TN. H-D does not have the resale everyone thinks they have. Those days are gone. The motorcycle market is flooded so buy right from the start cuz you'll take a beating if you sell to upgrade in a year or two. Feel free to send me a PM if I can help you arrive a decision. Huggie
  8. I was a long time TENA pull-up user but switched to ProtectionPlus after TENA changed their product...got cheaper on the quality. I tried many brands to replace and after a thorough self non-scientific test my nod goes to Protection Plus. And yes UK says "Nappies" and "Slip-ons", we here in the USA say "Diapers" and "Pull-ups" and Pacifier vs. dummy, LOL and we both speak the same language Huggie
  9. Hia Toddy...this is a good place to find friends in the AB/DL community. I wish you well here and hope that you find what you are looking for. Huggie
  10. Hia BabyKristi, Glad to have you and you'll be happy you found us. This is a great place to enjoy our world. Glad that you are finding your comfort zone. Enjoy ! Huggie
  11. I prefer cloth due to the comfort and they absorb so much more if you are the type to wet yourself more then two times before changing but you need to wear plastic pants with them for sure to protect from the wet spot showing. I often wear disposables out of convienence. The absorbant pad down the center will catch a controlled wetting for a full release but after that it'll leak or the disposable will leak if you flood it all at once. Cloth is wrapped all around you thus soaks up any residual moisture cutting down lots of leakage. I have worn disposables with plastic pants too but cloth is definately a nicer feel soaking wet over the disposable. I love a thoroughly soaked diaper whether a tape/pin or a pull-up (I consider a pull-up a diaper too unlike many of you out there) Huggie
  12. Hi All, I love my Nuk Medic, its contour feels great in my mouth and gives me the feeling I look for when I use it while sleeping. I too get rushed out when I wake up and it isn't in my mouth. I actually feel that it makes me breath a little better as I nap. I recently been on a CPAP machine to help with my Sleep Apnea so now I use a cumbersome face mask to sleep in so I am resigned to use my pacifiers as I toddle around the house in the afternoon or drive a long distance. I love the babyish feeling I get from it. I was a thumb sucker until my mid-teens also and now I ocassionally suck my thumb during fun time with my spouse, it kinda allows me to act out which she doesn't particularly care for without getting into trouble for it, hehehe "shush". I don't find it enjoying otherwise don't know why because as adolesent and teen I needed my thumb to sleep, hmmm? FYI: PacifiersRUs was one of the most pleasent AB buying item experiences I ever had. The owners were very nice and provide personal service in fullfilling your order. Huggie
  13. Hia All:) WOW Sarah_ab you got the message board going on this one. As for my two cents... I am more DL then AB but my AB feelings seem to be getting stronger and to the point perhaps one day I would enjoy acting out a role play scenario. After reading these posts they all seem to be in line what I would think a munch or meeting with numerous AB/DL's would be like. Personally I have singularly met numerous AB/DL folks over the last few years and each one has been enjoyable. As Bri said it is cool cuz they know something that the average friend doesn't know about you. I personally feel that way and I think the trust factor draws you closer as well. Most of us fear to be outted and step cautiously. Yes I was fortunate enough to have met Repaid1 and his Mommy last week, it was FANTASTIC!!! We did keep it on the "adult level" but we disscussed DD and each of our lifestyle choice in general. There wasn't any overt babyish behavior at all "this time" hehehe I have a few AB friends and love to talk with them at a meeting place or on the telephone both as a bABy or an adult. (Jeffy don't get angry at me I'll be by one day) But to just sit padded in my diaper or in baby clothes, sucking a pacifier or doing whatever seems so cool. I do it everyday but sadly I yearn to do it in the presence of an understanding person besides my wife. All AB ppl I met were men and it is not a sexual thing. All meets were in public so we were on good behavior acting like big boys (except for Jeffy, I was out at his house and we just hung out). I would choose to be very discreet in public but I'd let my diaper sag if I was in the right crowd in the right environment without worry...hopefully one day I will find out. Huggie Repaid1 "you got mail"
  14. Hi Misssusan...I was surfing around the Daily Diapers boards and saw that you just joined DD as a new member. I just wanted to say WELCOME. I checked out the art you do, pretty neat. Glad to meet you and I wish you well here and hope that you find whatever you are looking for. Huggie
  15. Hey Repaid sounds like you tore it up boy!!! Wish I could have hung out...I'll be back to visit ya eventually. I am going to bring a few biker bros with me one day. You & I will stay in touch. Huggie "here is my birthday present", LOL
  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Repaid1 Hia...It was great to meet you in Columbus this past weekend. Real people that enjoy life and doing usual stuff except we are padded...it was so cool to meet you & Mommy. I wanted to say Happy Birthday to you - we had a few brews to celebrate in your hangout:) Your peeps are very nice, they treated me very politely. I hope your day went well for you, I know you had a big shindig planned. It was cool that I could kinda be part of your birthday this year. Happy birthday, may you enjoy many more! Huggie I made it home with no problem - it was a beautiful day to ride my bike. I-70 in oHIo is beautiful. Repaid1 that darn html code, LOL
  17. Hia Mom in Penn...I was surfing around the Daily Diapers boards and saw that your recent post. I just wanted to say "hello". (jeffy & I are friends btw) I am from northeastern Pennsylvania.(near Scranton) I'm always looking for friends in the AB/DL community. I am not sure if you are looking for bABy friends for your baby hubby but if so feel free to PM me if you like. Huggie
  18. Hia Repaid, I should get to your area around 8 PM Wednesday, would you be interested in meeting for dinner/late lunch on Thursday? Whichever is fine w/ me...I am pretty excited to meet you, I hope that is still a go. Please let me know. Huggie
  19. Hi Repaid1, That will be cool, I'll keep you posted. BTW the "sitter" thing was funny Huggie
  20. Hia All, I am travelling and will be in east Columbus on July 8th or 9th. I have seen that there is an active AB/DL community there but never was able to make a munch so perhaps someone would be interested in meeting up. Please if you are interested feel free to reply to this thread or PM me. I am not exactly sure what hotel I am staying at yet, suggestions are appreciated. Huggie
  21. Hia All Great interview Rachel, I think you did a good presentation with what you were asked. Tyra isn't a good journalist at all. As for the audience I think everyone has their own kinks and even though they don't show it most likely have the feeling "if it does not effect me so what." I must say that your story parallels my life as a DL to the T. I was raised in a normal manner and am actually very normal (whatever normal is). I used to take diapers out of my little cousins diaper bag, I bought diapers with my paper route earnings and I am very discreet in my padded life. At one time I had so much conflict of who I was which gave me tremendous guilt, it wasn't until I bought a PC in 2005 that I learned of the huge AB/DL community. So you going on that show and getting the message out will certainly help someone as they struggle with their feelings. Thank You for having the courage to come out and speak on it. May I ask you if that show appearance has had any affect on your life; positive or negative? Huggie
  22. Hi hugmommy...I was just surfing around the Daily Diapers boards and saw that you are a new member, just wanted to give you a proper welcome. Wish you well here and hope that you find what you are looking for here. Where are you from? Huggie
  23. GOOD FOR YOU!!! Now take this slowly with her. A bit of advice if I may; a big thing to keep in mind is not to leave used diapers laying around, dispose of them "on the spot". Your lady will get used to you in them in time so please be patient. HOORAY for you! Huggie
  24. Hia Cammy, Good for you and your fiance!!! Keep using your imagination and talk. I think your needs will come through to one another and as you continue to explore you will learn each others "happy place". Doing the pretend diaper changes is so cool - no doubt you each cuddle one another and whisper the cute little things as you are sitting or playing. Do you have "pet' names for one another ei: Angel or Babydoll...? You both sound like terrific young ppl and with the care and nurturing of each other you'll likely enjoy a long loving life together. I commend your morality decision! Best wishes to you both! Vanilla relationship will be maintained if you keep it amongst yourselves I think... Huggie
