Here's another viewpoint: I've been a buyer and seller on ebay for more than 10 years with feedback over 8500. I've had a paypal account most of that time, and there has not ever been a problem for me from them knowing my bank account.

How many wear 2 plastic panties at once?
vvp39 replied to babystevie's topic in Cloth Diapers & Panties
Last night I slept in a plastic bikini with one of those Rearz overnight garments over it - the kind that's like a super-high-waist panty that comes up to my armpits. That kept me nice and warm and I slept very well. For me that works better than an extra blanket for sleeping warmer, and it feels oh so much nicer. -

Watch a little figure skating and it's hard to imagine that some of those skaters aren't wearing a little plastic bikini at the very least under their revealing outfits as they do their routines on the ice.

These are marked medium but in typical Babykins fashion are smaller than Gary or Rearz/AC Medical mediums.

These are kind of a skinny full-cut, meant to fit over disposables. Look at the photo, and you'll see that these look a lot like they were made by Babykins. They have the elastics and feel that are typical of that site, and also run smaller than the usual Fetware product. Size is definitely on the small end of "medium".

A. C. Medical Beta Panties
vvp39 replied to Little BabyDoll Christine's topic in Cloth Diapers & Panties
Here's some more info on Beta pants. I found out several years ago that AC Medical bought them half-made, in other words they were cut as the high-waist pants and sewn on the sides, lacking only the waist and leg elastics. When I discovered this, I asked if I could get them custom-cut to different heights, figuring this would be easy for them as they could just cut them to the side height I wanted before they sewed on the elastics. This indeed turned out to be the case. At that time I had several pairs of standard-height beta pants with wide elastics at the waist and standard leg elastics - #042 in the AC Medical catalog. These have a side seam about 6 to 6 1/2 inches high. I ordered some with the side seam an inch higher and some with the side seam an inch lower. I ended up really liking the lower-cut ones - they feel almost like a bikini-cut but not quite so tight. I'd suspect that Rearz would custom-cut these too - I've found Laurie easy to work with on other semi-custom orders. -
Here's a list of plastics I've gotten from either Rearz or AC Medical. ~ translucent (tl) red, medium blue - quite soft, very smooth. ~ semi-opaque pink - very smooth and shiny on one side, not quite so smooth on the other side, a bit crackly until it warms up. ~ tl tangerine/amber or clear as in Angela plastic pants - very smooth and soft. They have another tl plastic that's a bit thicker, not so soft but still smooth that's likely to be used for custom orders. ~ tl clear, used in Beta pants - a bit thicker, slightly noisy but quiets nicely when warmed up. ~ orange/blue butterfly print - very smooth, very soft. Feels nicer than almost any vinyl plastic. For a long time I resisted getting anything in print, but I have several items in this. ~ tl blue print with duckies and bunnies and polka dots - very smooth, not quite as soft as butterfly print. I have one panty in this. ~ opaque pink, yellow, dark blue - not quite as soft or smooth as others, but still not what I'd call textured at all. ~ tl clear, taffeta pattern both sides, quite soft, Rearz' term for this is "frosted vinyl". I have several skirts in this; the plastic feels noticeably different on my legs when I walk. ~ silvery tl clear (Alpha) - very smooth and soft, really nice feel. ~ tl clear (Alpha) - very translucent, not quite so soft but still smooth. ~ opaque white - very smooth and soft. ~ opaque white - taffeta pattern one side, other side smooth, soft.

Sometimes I'll wear a bikini under bloomers or under a full-cut panty. Not that often though.... -
Well, I'm a plastic lover through and through. Soft smooth vinyl plastic makes my entire epidermis an erogenous zone. Whatever else I'm wearing that's plastic, I'll be wearing plastic panties too. I sleep in them every night - I find it easier to get to sleep, I sleep better, and love the feeling when I wake up wearing them. As to which kind I like best, it's generally the kind I'm wearing at the moment.

If it feels cheap, I suspect that may be because it is. I remember reading quite some time ago that the taffeta pattern first came into use to disguise imperfections in the surface of the plastic film caused by irregularities or foreign material on the rollers used to extrude the film. Therefore it takes a well-run plant operation to produce a blemish-free smooth surface.
