I've tried the CVS, Rite-Aid, and Walgreens generics in the past, and found them to be pretty comfortable and absorbent...

I use OpenOffice for Windows on one of my computers while my wife uses MS Office 2007 on hers, and there has never been any formatting issues when I use the same file (by way of shared file server) on both machines. It didn't matter which machine created the file. I've even used OpenOffice to edit my resume file, and it looks the same on both machines. I'm just wondering, have you used the latest release, or are the above statements based on a previous version? There are ALWAYS glitches in old versions (even MS had glitches in their early programs, you can't argue that point). And OpenOffice is now being produced by Sun (maker of Java) which gives it a better backing than when it was a simple project. The price (of both the OS and the app software) is the key thing to me. Why should I pay nearly $300 for a copy of MS Office (or even $150 to upgrade from an old, non-supported version, to the current one) when can get the same functions and capabilities for no price at all (and legally)? Look, I'm not trying to turn this thread into a fight, I'm just trying to show that there's more to the computer world than just Mac or Windows (both of which are over priced OS's that force you to pay extra money for applications you want to use (like Office, an accounting app like PeachTree, or audio/video/photo editing, etc). Open Source is not something to be afraid of, it is something people should be embracing, because the programs are updated more often because more people are involved with reviewing and fixing the code. Having more diverse groups of people (and more diverse hardware setups) is a much better thing than a small, closed group of people (using only a specific, pre-defined hardware setup). I have used different versions and distributions of Linux since the early 1990s, and it has come a long way over the years. Just because it isn't made by MS doesn't make it a bad program (or OS). I've had way more problems with every version of Windows than I've ever had with any version of Linux.

I think there are people who just plain don't like me, cuz I've been given negatives on posts I entered that had no rude or inflammatory remarks in them at all (like a post I did last night on the poll about Windows vs Mac vs Linux).

There's no learning needed to run Linux, since Linux has a "point and click" style interface just like Windows does. Linux is FREE to use, unlike Windows which can cost $150 or more each time a new version is released. Plus most applications for Linux are free (like OpenOffice which is a perfect clone of MS Office, and can even open and edit files that were created using MS Office). The key thing is the number of programmers involved with the software. Windows has a small team of people located at their offices, while the Linux world has people all over the world fixing glitches, adding "tweaks", and basically "road testing" every possible aspect of the software on every possible piece of hardware in existence. Microsoft doesn't care about people whose computers are old, they expect everyone to upgrade to the newest hardware in order to use the newest versions of Windows. Linux can give new life to old computers because it will work on any hardware (no matter how old) that you own. (And who gave my previous post a negative? I did not say anything rude or inflammatory.)

Bettypooh, the latest releases of Linux distributions (regardless of name - Fedora, openSuSE, Mandriva, Ubuntu, etc) ALL have a GUI (graphical user interface) with mouse "point and click" control. Linux is not all command lines like it was back in the 90s. I play with Linux a lot, and it is my favorite OS. Reliability? Any PC hardware (386 or better, regardless of ram and HD size, and regardless of age) can run a copy of Linux and have uptimes in the multi-month range with zero crashes (unless the user does something bad/stupid), can't ever say the same for ANY version of Windoze (can't even use most versions of the OS on older machines). Linux software updates don't even require a complete reboot, just a simple reload of the affected program only (another thing Windoze can't do - you almost ALWAYS need to reboot for Windoze patches). IMHO: the price of a Mac is all because of the Apple name. I can hand-build a PC with DOUBLE the cpu speed, ram, and HD size for the SAME PRICE as a Mac. Conatus, apparently you haven't been keeping up with the times in regards to Linux then. As I mentioned above to Bettypooh, Linux has graphic interface software these days, with multiple "window manager" options (meaning desktop layouts), Windoze only has ONE desktop type (unless you install extra software, which usually costs extra). I am a PC person, I prefer Linux, but I use Windoze, but only when I absolutely have to. I've been running a machine with openSuSE as a file-server for the rest of the PC's in my house for over 6 years, with uninterrupted uptimes of over 6months straight (no crashes, no reboots - it woulda been longer, but we had a blackout caused by a storm one night). Another thing Linux has over Windoze: you can "test drive" a copy of Linux WITHOUT reformatting your HD. Almost ALL Linux distributions have the option of a "Live" CD or DVD. You download the ISO image (for FREE, LEGALLY), burn it to a blank CD or DVD, then simply reboot the PC with that disc in the drive. Those "Live" discs are a completely "ready to run" sample of Linux. I'd be willing to act as a "tech support" for anyone wanting to give Linux a try on their machine... I also use multiple separate emails (to keep my real life separate from my DL interests), and I have 2 separate FB accounts with no visible connection to each other. FB uses your email account info to check your contact list for other existing FB users and gives you the ability to invite people not on FB to join up. As long as you don't use your ABDL email info on your real-life FB account, you should never have an issue.

Funny... I was only ever in there 3 times... The first to scope it out and see that they did samples (had shelves FULL of sample packs, which they said the company sent them all the time), the second (months later) to get samples in my size, and the third (months after the 2nd visit) to get samples in my wife's size (not that she's been willing to even try them).

Well I know for certain I'm not peeing in my sleep, cuz i've never at any time of my life been a bed wetter. I have a "super strong" bladder that can hold for 8 hours without leaks. (Not to mention the wetness is limited to just the area where my thighs meet my crotch, never in front or back.) I also know that the wetness is not pee cuz it happens all day long... I've sat in my office chair (back when I had a job) in an air-conditioned office, I would not be sweating from any other area of my body, but the crevices where my thighs meet my crotch always get wet.

You didn't pay attention to what I wrote, dyndns does more than just providing a dns name for my IP, they have a free dns server system that allows you to select categories of sites to block from dns searches (like known spam, virus, adware, etc sites). I've been using the main function for years... the other part I just started using back in November. Anytime a page tries to load from a site that is blocked in the dyndns "defense plan", I see the following messages:

I use the service from dyndns for the last 2 months, and have no complaints. I use dyndns to provide a text address so i can access my home machine when i'm out on vacation or wherever.

It was being shown by SyFy (formerly Sci-Fi) channel for a while, but the newest eps that I've seen were shown by the BBC America channel. Check with your cable or satellite company to see if you have that one. I've found ALL episodes (including the new since 2005) since the first with Pertwee available for download via torrents, and have them all on my home network fileserver. And it's not over yet... They just had a regeneration from # 10 (David Tennant) to # 11 (dunno his name).

I have Mario Kart (love it) and COD-MW Reflex (haven't spent much time with it), plus also have a few of the Guitar Hero games and some sports stuff (Madden, NBA, NHL) which have online capabilities. I'd love to have some live opponents instead of just the AI's.

I love Doctor Who, watched it while growing up during the late 70s and through the 80s & 90s. I'm glad they brought it back. I could most likely benefit from a sleep study, no matter what time I go to bed (9pm, 10pm, midnight) I still fully wake up between 2 and 3am, and fight to get back to sleep... But I don't have any medical coverage right now due to being unemployed for a solid year, so I won't be able to do that any time soon...

I'm depressed that the local "mom & pop" medical supply store that was only 5 miles from me closed down... Lost my supplier of Tranquility sample packs...

Too bad you don't like the Prevail brand by First Quality... Due to a computer error, I have 3 cases of large size Prevail pull-ups in my house that I need to get rid of...

I'd be interested, but sometimes mediums don't fit me well either... Some brands I can tape on just fine, others I wind up with barely an inch on each side for taping, which tends to cause the tapes to pop (I have a set of thick "thunder thighs" to go with a 38 inch waist).

Well, believe it or not, there is an employee of the company with the exact same name as me (even the same spelling of the last name) who requested them for his mother (he called me today after receiving my voicemail I left for the office that shipped the cases out). I have the caller ID info to prove the incoming call...

Due to a computer screw-up by First Quality Products, I received 3 CASES (meaning 12 packs of 18) of their Prevail pull-ups yesterday by Fed-Ex. I never ordered them, and they said the cases were sent as samples. The only time I ever contacted them, I asked for samples of tape-on briefs, never for pull-ups. So, after convincing my anti-ABDL wife that I had nothing to do with the delivery (and honestly, I didn't), we have decided to put them up for sale. The only question on my mind is how much to sell them for, and by what method? Should I post them on Craigslist or eBay? Is anyone on here interested in these pull-ups? I was thinking of pricing them at $7.50 plus shipping... Any suggestions? Anyone want these?

My family lived in Ohio way back in the mid 80's (85-88) in a tiny little town on the PA border next to Erie, and right on the lake... We went to Cedar Point, Kings Island, Sea World, and Geauga (sp?) Lake (which is now owned by Sea World)... I love amusement parks and roller coasters. Down here in NC where I am, we have a real nice park called Carrowinds which straddles the NC/SC borders, and you cross the border all day long walking from one end of the park to the other and back again. Never been to a park while diapered tho...

Back in the early 90s (like 93-94) I took diving classes and the cert exam cuz I was hoping to find a common activity with my dad. But after I got certified, he never once invited me to go on any of the diving trips he did... So my cert has definitely lapsed over the years. I'd love to get back into diving tho, it was a lot of fun doing the practice dives in the local middle school's indoor pool, and was quite exciting to see all the fish and stuff in the flooded quarry where the cert testing was done.

Umm, dumb question, where is Boone? I'm in Winston-Salem, but having only moved into the state at the end of 06, I don't really know much outside the Winston-Greensboro-Charlotte areas...
