I have bought inexpensive plastics off of e-bay and the seams have ripped on them! I have had to have my wife sew them on a machine! The plastics were a product of China and you bought 2 and go 1 free! SWo beware and I hope if you have purchased these that they have not had the seam split!

I was in the hospital for a total knee replacement! Due to a heart problem, the gave me a spinal and a twilight to do the operation! They put a catheter in me due to a spinal block, and later removed the cath! But, I started to pee uncontrollably and ws placed into a diaper! This was a second operation that I had and since then have leak troubles! Now I use a disposable and plastic pants for protection and Ireally am used to them and enjoy them!

To the person who is upset with the senior citizen, let me tell you something as one of them! I'm 63, I have urinary problems and wear diapers and plastic, and yes, when I was young, I heard my grandmother complain and I told her about it, and her answer was you wait! You will one day see! I learned a lesson as I aged! Most seniors do not accept aging, and if you realize that many seniors are looking for the fountain of youth, it doesn't exist! People HATE to get old, and another fact is when you reach around 50, you realize that most of your life is BEHIND you! We tend to complain about back, leg, shoulder and other problems because we do not want to get old! In reality, we are getting old and really refuse to accept that fact! The nxt time you hear a senior complain,instead of becoming critical, ask them why it hurts, and maybe you will find out information that will enlighten youso you can watchout and not do the same thing that caused that's person's problem!

After reading this expose of a persons problem, itseems that basic medical and also psychological help have failed! I feel the problem is a problem dealing with the structural makeup of the spine! Urine retention is almost impossible if the lower spine, the lumber region is out of allignemt, and if the neck are is problemed with cervical spondylosis, urine retention is and can be a effected! The heck with the OTC drugs! Go find a good chiropractor and let him make spinal adjust,ents and you will see a difference in your retension! I have had this problem, and a chiropractor has really helped, and chirsopractic has one great goal, cure the problem with out meds and not to mask the problems with chemical! In other words, chiropractic is natural and medical field hates it because, if is can help and cure or allieviate pain with out meds, doctors don't prescribe drugs and don't get pharmicudical kick backs! Go to the chiropractor and feel better!!!

John, I also have cancer, and tht is liver cancer. I found out year ago and am doing well and surviving! I credit my feelings to the Lord! Soon as a loved one speaks of that terrible word, fear and desperation take over! When I found out, I decided to put it in the Lord's hand and keep on living! I found strength in the Word of God and today consider cancer another painin the butt thing, but, I keep on going and look forward to tomorrow! Cancer is not the end, I found out that 2 of my three tumors are gone and the third is being overtaken by liver regeneration! I have had 4 tase cancer-chemo treatments and survived and am happy! I do not know where you live but, I go to the Hillman center in Pittsburgh, PA> and they are considered one of the countries best! Your best bet is help your mom look positively at life and be strong and keep focused on tomorrow! If there are radiation orchemo treatments available, tell her to go for them! Put your faith and trust in the Lord, and you will see a change!

I was in the hospital recently and I have a urinary problem that intensifies with my chemo treatment! When I went into the OR the nurse noticed I had a pair of plastics and a diaper on and asked me if I had a problem which I informed her of! Aftermy chemo procedure, a new diaper and my plastics were put back on and I was told if I leaked and got wet, tocall the nurse and she would attend to my problem, which she did! I had no problems after that atr all!

I drive a school bus every day over bumpy roads! Some of those bumps cause instant loss and it bugs me! I wear diapers and plastic pants and still sometimes I am not able to feel myself emptying! I hate the rashes and also

For rash is apply desitin and then also Johnson's baby oil! This helps block the urine and the area is protected by the oil!

I have PAD and also cervical spondylosis! I have had trouble for several years and use diapers. My doctor told me that this urinary problem can come from the neck problem. He also told me surgery on the neck may alieve the pain but can't say if the urinary problem will stop! I have decided to use diapers and plastic and don't care what anyone thinks! It is better to wear protection than destry furniture,clothes, and matresses from non use!

I can agree with you! I have cervical spondylosis and am loosing control also! I drive a school bus and started to wear diapers and plastic pants so not to mess up my seat! I have no problems now and am considering surgery next summer but, I have some fears about the surgery and the outcome of it! I've been told by a family member that surgery helps but they still have wetting problems! I guess ZI'll have to think about the problem some more!

To me, using diapers makes me think of times past, of the innocence of childhood! I was raised an only child by loving parents, and wearing makes me think of those good day! I was dependent on my mom and dad, and they made decisions for me, however, as an adult we have to make our own decisions, wheather good or bad! I wear because of the rememberence of the security, the love and protection afforeded by my parents! Yes I love diapers, and the idea that diapers are not for adults is wrong! Remember, as kids we wore them and as we get older, we start to regress and if alive long enough, wear them again as seniors! Many adults refuse to think that this regression will face them! I have worn for medical reasons and as well as fun reasons! People who like to wear and want the world to know about it are really preparing for the future!

When I was 14, I had a lawn tractor flip and land on me. My back was bruised and it cleared up, but, I started having incontinence problems. I went to a chiropractor and he helped at that time! In the mid eighty's I had a mild stroke and lost some control, then in the mid 90's, I had open heart surgery! After this due to the trauma I developed Fibromyalgia and IBS. Now, I wear when on the road and also at work. I drive a school bus, and there are times when I just have to go, no pre-warning! I dont let the diapers and plastic bother me and have just learned to live with it! I am now 62 and I live a nearly normal life as possible and do stay active! I guess it's all in the attitude we take!
