What makes this thread worthy of being a sticky?

I just bought 2 bags of Abena X-plus plastic backed diapers at drugstore.com for $17.99 (plus free shipping on $25 orders), which is the best price I've seen for a while. You won't see that price if you go there immediately, but go there, put the diapers in your cart. then switch to AOL's main page and see if they have an advertisement for an extra 10% of an order - mine did.....good luck!

I just use Attends with Waistband and put three stripes of packing tape across the front to make a tape landing zone. No print (not into that) but makes them refastenable big time, and looks good to me.

Yup....I'd keep it quiet. I was at my MILs cabin in the middle of nowhere in western ontario (on a bay with no road access and only 4 other houses), and was out in the screened in porch in only a diaper eating my cereal enjoying being free to wear whatever I wanted. I figured that I'd hear any boats approaching and would have TONS of time to pull on some pants if need be, or just sit down and no one would be able to see my diaper. I didn't notice one of the neighbors come around the point in a kayak! I have no idea if she saw me or not, but it scared the crap out of me. And Yes....I never said a word!

Attends with Waistband are the loudest on the market right now. The old green Depends are the loudest I've ever worn. The old classic style Attends with the plasticy micro-pore inner lining were fairly loud as the lining would stick to your skin and make the diaper crinkle no matter how you moved. I buy my Attends from Walgreens.com, can get them by the case on sale sometimes for 39.99 shipped! (like right now they have a sale $10 off $40...coupon code LAST10)

I used to love using the Huggies Thick as stuffers....funny how now all the name are trim this, and trim that

I have been using the Abri-San Xplus 11 as booster pads for a while now. They are much thicker than the X-plus diaper, and I love them as diaper stuffers (I don't use them on their own) - I poke holes in the backing and wear them inside a six tape attends. I also like to use Moliform Supers (which are half as thick, but almost as absorbant as they use more polymer). I sometimes won't wear the abri-san in a diaper during the day as they are SO THICK!

Yeah.....lighten up people, he made no mention of contracts. I could see a guy doing this....unlikley a woman would. Free room just to wear diapers.....sweet deal, especially if the diapers are provided too!

The last time I flew internationally, when I arrived in the US I had to go through security again to get to my connecting flight (in Chicago). I went through the full body scanner in an Attends Large with an Abena Abri-San X-Plus #11 pad inside it. After going through the scanner I was "flagged" for a body search due to the diaper (it wasn't wet). I was taken into a side room with two TSA agents and they swabbed down my bags and ran the swabs though scanners, I was patted down, and asked to undo my pants to see what I was wearing underneath my jeans. I complied all along, told them I was incontinent and wear diapers. I undid my pants, showed them my diaper and they were fine with everything. I had no issue with everything they did, they were curteous and respectful.

The more crinkly the better! They can't be loud enough for me. I've even taken shopping bags and turned them into plastic pants as they crinkle so much! Attends with waistband are my current crinkle favorites.... But nothing ever beat vintage green Depends!

I love EBAY...bought tons of diapers on there ....and sold some too. Works just fine for me. Snipers are a fact of life....I snipe all the time...it is just how it works!

Found adult diapers at a Drug store Called Apollo Drugs. Bought 2 bags and got them back to the hotel and they run a little small on me (one of the brands anyway). So I'll have to go back and buy some more. Pretty nice diapers though! One with soft plastic backing and taping panel, the other with "cloth" backing and taping panel. Maybe I'll post some photos of them when I get back. The part I enjoy the most is the bags say "Adult Diapers" clearly on them! They have no qualms about calling them what they are!

I hate the cloth ones because their odor control sucks! OP--the only ones easily available in stores are the Depends (I wear them to work out in). I buy my 6 tape plastic backed Attends at Walgreens.com, they often have $10 off sales....usually get my cases for 39.99 delivered.

Heading over there again soon.....took lots of diapers with me last time, will take lots again this time. I went looking for diapers when I was there, and found none. Will see what I can find this time.

Yeah.....t-shirt and diapers rule! We went to the carribean and did an island getaway where you are taken to a private island with a picnic lunch for the day. I wore a diaper only, or diaper and t-shirt all day! LOVED IT!

Abena X-Plus are good, but the pin hole leaks are really annoying. I too like Attends with Waistband, but I pad them out with either Moliform Super pads, or Abri-San 11 pads. I will also use clear packing tape to make a tape landing zone for both brands....this makes moving the tapes easy.....and they never pop loose! EVER! I've found the easiest way to put the packing tape on the front is to pull the diaper up and tuck the wings under me (I wear larges...but can fit in mediums) holding the front taught....then I apply the packing tape in 3 stripes across the front.

Apparently two women in our neighborhood went as babies last year to raise money for a diaper drive for the local shelter....we were out of town! I hope they do it again this year....and perhaps I should join them!!!!!!!! But how do I explain why I have real diapers that are really thick and get wetter as the night goes on????? LOL

Photo should appear once approved by the admin. They aren't very bright purple/pink, but you can see from the color of the white six tape attends in my hand that they aren't white....a light purple would be my description.... Again...Attends 10 Size Regular with Easy Fit tapes

Attends size "Regular" were a purple color. Not sure if the still are.... I have some photos of myself in one somewhere....
