Oh, this has not been updated in years! Let me fix that...

I was originally introduced to the concept of AB's by a writing partner who suggested it as a story idea. It was not something I understood, so she explained it to me, and it caught my imagination very much, and I found the concept mesmerizing. `Experiencing' it though the story we were writing was thrilling.

Thrilling, but it left something unfulfilled. What would it be like to try such a thing in real life? Sadly, my caution is very developed, and it took literal months of research and talking to people online before even buying my first diapers. And then it was even more months of encouragement before I even could bring myself to wear one. Perhaps because this was something introduced to me as an adult, rather than being something I had always known or felt, it took a very long time before taking even those first baby steps. But finally, I did so, and it was all that one could hope for, fulfilling something I had not even known was not there. Perhaps that is typical for everyone with this interest. But to have reached that stage was such a joy. There are many people to thank for helping me reach it!

One might wonder if perhaps the interest would wane at some point, but it never has for me. It is still just the thing that makes me feel right, and the world a safe place. Now it is hard to imagine not being in diapers for an extended time. It just is not me.
